Singer Evgeny Kungurov

Evgeny Kungurov was born in the Sverdlovsk region, in the small village of Zarechny. The father of the future musician was a military man, so the family lived in a military town not far from the unit. Mother worked as a singer, soloist in a military vocal and instrumental ensemble. His mother instilled in little Zhenya a love of classical music and became the boy’s first teacher in voice training and developing his musical ear.

Noticing their son’s high ability to play music, his parents sent the boy to a music school, to a button accordion class. Here Evgeniy mastered various performance techniques on this instrument, and subsequently appeared on stage for the first time as a vocalist. At first, the boy was a member of a large choir at a music school, which brought together children of different ages. But a few years later he tried himself as a soloist. The first big solo performance took place when Evgeny Kungurov was 15 years old. The atmosphere of the auditorium, the sensations experienced when entering the stage, the moments of excitement before the performance - all this finally convinced the young man to connect his life with music.

To fulfill his dream, after graduating from school, Evgeniy, at the age of 16, left for the capital and entered the music school at the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied professional vocals. After college, the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory awaits him. Here Evgeny Kungurov continues to improve his skills and realize his innate talent. This is how the interesting baritone singer attracts listeners even while studying at the conservatory. He regularly tours, gives concerts, performs with the exemplary orchestra of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and becomes a permanent member of the Russian National Orchestra.

Music

While still a student at the conservatory, Kungurov participates in concert programs of the famous pianist, composer and conductor Mikhail Pletnev. The most significant work during this period was the performance of the central arias in Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov’s opera “Aleko”. In 2004, he was a member of the New Names charity foundation, where he also made a good impression.

After graduating from the conservatory, the singer continues to collaborate with the orchestra of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and becomes the leading soloist and main character. In addition, Kungurov performs the main role in the opera “Eugene Onegin” at the Opera Theater at the Moscow State Conservatory, and plays episodic roles at the Novaya Opera Theater. His biggest role in this group was Papageno in Mozart's opera The Magic Flute.

Project "Voice"

Evgeny Kungurov was already famous among Moscow opera lovers, but the musician wanted a new challenge, new interesting tasks. For this reason, the singer becomes a participant in the television musical project “Big Opera”, which was released on the “Culture” channel in 2011. Creation

On September 26, 2013, Evgeny Kungurov gave his first solo concert at the Gorky Palace of Culture in St. Petersburg. The performer divided the concert into four thematic blocks: Kungurov sequentially performed Russian folk songs, romances, Neapolitan and Soviet songs. Personal life

Zhenya now has another woman, a child was born, we don’t communicate, sometimes we don’t even say hello. But Zhenya and I had plans to start a family, although we did not live under the same roof, but only met.

I also have a problem. It just so happens that Diana knows: her mother’s work comes first. I have a strong feeling of guilt towards my daughter due to the fact that we were often apart. In addition, Diana told me that she would not accept someone who would wear “sweatpants” at home. However, if my daughter sees that a real man has appeared in my life, maybe it will be possible to break this psychological barrier.

Now my heart is not free. He is a musician, we have been working together for many years. But marriage for me is not an end in itself.

— Will you celebrate the New Year with your loved one?

- I hope, but I don’t dare to guess. If everything works out, I'll meet you at a private party in Paris. I wanted to take my daughter with me, but she prefers to be with friends.
