discography of Konstantin Nikolsky

After some time, the guys decided to change the name of the group to “Atlanta”. The talented group performed at various concert venues and schools. It is worth noting that thanks to the Atlanta group, another equally popular one appeared - “Time Machine”. The fact is that Andrei Makarevich was at one of the performances of the group where Konstantin played. After a concert of young guys, he was inspired and decided to create his own group. After Nikolsky Konstantin Nikolaevich received secondary education, he submitted documents to the institute.

Biography[ | ]

People's Artist of Russia, Andrei Yuryevich Nikolsky, was born on December 23, 1951 in Moscow, into a family of employees. His mother, Valentina Artemovna, was a housewife, his father, Yuri Ivanovich, headed a large production and taught his son to feel the beauty of Russian song and the depth of poetry. The Nikolsky family lived in house No. 19 on Kutuzovsky Prospekt (the V. Yudashkin Fashion Theater is now located there). He graduated from school No. 711. He received a home education in piano and plays a professional seven-string guitar. He completed military service in the troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. From childhood, Andrei Nikolsky was fond of the songs of Pyotr Leshchenko, Alexander Vertinsky, Alyosha Dimitrievich and other Russian emigrant performers. He began actively composing songs after serving in the army; he prefers writing poems. Priorities in poetry are Russian classics, primarily Lermontov, Nekrasov, Yesenin.

Education[ | ]

Graduated from the Moscow Institute of National Economy. G.V. Plekhanov, then - the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR and worked for fifteen years in the Foreign Trade system.

The beginning of musical life[ | ]

For the first time people started talking about Andrei Nikolsky after the performance of the songs “Ancient Moscow”, performed by Lev Leshchenko, “Oh, what a pity”, performed by Irina Miroshnichenko, “Play the Guitar”, performed by Mikhail Shufutinsky. Songs such as “We are not going into battle for awards”, “Oh, what a pity”, “Cornflower Glade”, “Dusya”, “She-Wolf”, “Chandeliers of the ancient hall”, and a number of others are becoming widely recognized, Andrei Nikolsky decides start your own solo career. The first author's evening took place in 1995 at the State Variety Theater. From that moment on, the musician began to actively perform at various venues across the country, including taking part in government concerts. He is a laureate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs award, a laureate of the song of the year (with the song “Ancient Moscow”) and a laureate of many other awards.

Beginning of a musical career

Returning from the army, Konstantin decides to continue performing with his group. The guys again thought of changing the name of the group to “Sikorsky Helicopter Fragments.” The rock band's albums were filled with repertoire that the young artist wrote in the army. After some time, the musicians once again changed the name of the group to “Happy Family”.

In 1974, Nikolsky decided to leave the group and join another musical composition called “Flowers”, led by Stas Namin. The latter had known Nikolsky for quite a long time, since the days of youth gatherings. The talent that Konstantin had greatly impressed Stas Namin. Alexander Losev performed together with the famous rock musician. The guys were the same height and looked good on stage.

After some time, the leader of the “Flowers” group began to conflict with the organizers of the Philharmonic. The guys were assigned a large number of concerts, so Stas threatened to leave the organization. The company made good money from the band's performances and arranged several concerts a day for the group. In addition to Alexander Losev, the musical group included Alexander Slizunov and Sergei Grachev.

Later, a conflict arose again between the Ministry of Culture and the group leader. The organizers of the Philharmonic did not react in any way, but the young group ceased to exist. Its organizer Stas Namin formed a new team, which he called the “Stas Namin Group”. The manager decided to bring the guitarist back under his wing.

By 1975, Konstantin Nikolsky was rightfully considered a professional musician. In this regard, Yuri Antonov invited the man to join his team called “Magistral”. Slizunov also joined the group. After some time, Nikolsky was fired. The reason for the breakdown of labor relations was the artist’s fake performance. However, the musician stood his ground and explained that at that moment a spotlight was shining strongly into his eyes.

Active musical activity

The creative biography of Konstantin Nikolsky indicates a constant change of musical groups until 1979. But at this time the man matured and created his own group - “Resurrection”. At first, the talented musician was helped by such performers as Sergei Kawagoe, Evgeniy Margulis and Andrei Sapunov.

Later, the newly formed team released their first album. It includes songs written during Constantine’s service, as well as fresh compositions: “Play with me, thunderstorm,” “Night Bird” and others. It is worth noting that many songs from this record are still loved by fans.

Soon this group also fell apart: the guys did not reach the peak of fame, so they had no incentive to continue performing. But the talented musician and composer decided not to give up and in 1981 he reassembled the group. They released the next album called “Resurrection-2”. The most popular song from this record is “One Look Back.” However, this composition did not save the guys from failure. Soon the team broke up again.

Music

Returning from the army, Konstantin Nikolsky continued to perform in the company of old comrades. The group received a new name - “Fragments of the Sikorsky Helicopter”, and the team’s repertoire was replenished with the same “Musician”, as well as the songs “You wanted to see the world” and “Russia”, which Nikolsky also wrote during his service.

After some time, the group once again changed its name, becoming “Happy Family”, and in 1974 Konstantin Nikolsky left the group to join a new musical team - Stas Namin’s group “Flowers”. As often happens with young groups, the team soon fell apart, and Stas Namin started a new project called “Stas Namin Group”, to which he invited Nikolsky.

Until 1979, Konstantin Nikolsky changed several more groups, and then founded his own group, “Resurrection”. At first, musicians Evgeny Margulis, Andrey Sapunov and Sergey Kawagoe helped Konstantin.

Konstantin Nikolsky and the group "Resurrection"

Soon “Resurrection” had its first album, which included the compositions “Musician”, “Night Bird”, “Play with me, thunderstorm” and others. Many of the songs from that very first album are still loved by music lovers.

After some time, Resurrection also disbanded: the musicians did not achieve success, and there was no incentive to perform. However, Konstantin Nikolsky did not lose faith in his own talent and in 1981 he reassembled the group to record a second record. This album was released under the name “Resurrection - 2”. Music lovers liked the song “One Look Back” most of all, but overall this album did not gain popularity. The Resurrection group fell apart again.

Konstantin Nikolsky continued to perform solo until 1986, collecting small halls and slowly but surely gaining fame and popularity. In 1986, the musician teamed up with drummer Vitaly Bondarchuk to record an album. This temporary union was called “Mirror of the World,” but the musicians did not work well together. And already in 1990, Konstantin Nikolsky finally went solo.

Nikolsky’s first solo record, “I’m wandering off-road...”, was released in 1992. The musician recorded his next album in 1996. This record became a collection of Konstantin’s already beloved hits, recorded with a new arrangement.

In 2001, the musician celebrated his 50th anniversary with concerts and the release of the collection “Musician.” Three years later, Nikolsky’s discography was replenished with another record, which was called “I’m Only Dreaming of My Life.” Due to health problems, the musician took a break from recording albums and videos for the next few years, and in 2007 a long-awaited new product appeared - the album “Illusions”.

The work of Konstantin Nikolsky can truly be considered an integral symbol of the rock scene of his time.

Solo career

In the biography of Konstantin Nikolsky there is information that until 1986 he performed solo. The musician did not attract crowds of people, but still found his audience. In the same year, the talented artist met drummer Vitaly Bondarchuk. The guys decided to create the group “Mirror of the World”. However, the men could not work together. In 1990, Konstantin plunged headlong into a solo career.

In 1992, the famous artist released his first solo album, “I’m wandering off-road...”. The musician managed to record his next album only in 1996. This collection included Konstantin’s old hits, but with some changes in the music.

In 2001, Nikolsky celebrated his fiftieth anniversary and at the same time created a new record called “Musician”. Three years later, the artist released an album called “I’m Only Dreaming of My Life.” The man decided to devote the next few years to his health, which had been failing him recently. And in 2007, Konstantin recorded a new collection - “Illusions”.

Hieromartyr Andronik (Nikolsky)

Memorial Day: June 7 (20) in the Cathedral of St. Petersburg Saints and in the Cathedral of New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia

Born into the family of a psalm-reader at the Church of the Transfiguration in the village of Povodneva, Yaroslavl diocese.

In 1885 he graduated from the Uglich Theological School, in 1891 from the Yaroslavl Theological Seminary, and in the same year he entered the Moscow Theological Academy.

On August 1, 1893, he was tonsured a monk with the name Andronik, and on August 6, 1893, he was ordained to the rank of hierodeacon.

In 1895 he graduated from the Theological Academy with a candidate's degree in theology for the essay “Ancient Church teaching on the Eucharist as a sacrifice in connection with the question of atonement.”

On July 22, 1895, he was ordained to the rank of hieromonk.

Since 1895 - assistant inspector at the Kutaisi Theological Seminary.

From August 1896 - teacher of homiletics, then inspector of the Alexander Missionary Seminary in Ardon.

On March 20, 1897, by the definition of the Holy Synod, “for diligent and useful service in the seminary and frequent preaching of the word of God,” he was elevated to the rank of cathedral hieromonk of the Don Icon of the Mother of God of the Moscow monastery.

In September 1897 he was appointed a member of the mission to Japan.

Traveling to Japan through Italy, Greece and North America together with Archimandrite Sergius (Stragorodsky), also assigned to the mission, he became acquainted with the modern state of Christianity - Catholicism and Orthodoxy, visited ancient Christian shrines - catacombs and tombs of martyrs, the ruins of the Colosseum. Subsequently, he wrote that prayer at the places consecrated by the blood of the first Christian martyrs inspired him and Archimandrite Sergius to the ascetic service of the Church - to make sure that “the church beginning of life is a holy and complete beginning for all of us.”

Deteriorating health caused by difficulties in acclimatization, as well as the news of his father’s death, forced him to return to Russia.

From March 5, 1899 to January 13, 1900 - rector of the Ardon Missionary Seminary with the rank of archimandrite. Dismissed from office upon request.

At the invitation of Bishop Anthony (Khrapovitsky) of Ufa, he came to Ufa in 1900. On October 16 of the same year, at the request of Bishop Anthony (Khrapovitsky), he was appointed rector of the Ufa Theological Seminary.

On November 5, 1906, he was consecrated Bishop of Kyoto and appointed assistant to Archbishop Nicholas (Kasatkin), who gained fame as a missionary (in 1970 he was canonized).

Arriving in Osaka, I found the Orthodox community in a deplorable state. No more than 10 people visited the temple; one psalm-reader read and sang on the choir. Bishop Andronik began his ministry by visiting the homes of parishioners every weekday evening, getting to know their families, talking, preaching, and learning their needs. During Bishop Andronik's ministry in Japan, the number of people visiting the temple increased significantly, and a large mixed choir sang at the services.

Missionary work in a climate unfavorable for Andronik again led to a deterioration in his health, and on July 5, 1907, the Holy Synod granted him leave.

In October 1907, he was sent to the city of Kholm (now Chelm, Poland) to replace Bishop Eulogius (Georgievsky) during sessions of the State Duma. In his oral and written addresses, he began to scourge “the most evil and destructive Latin heresy” (Catholicism).

Since March 14, 1908 - Bishop of Tikhvin, first vicar of the Novgorod diocese.

He was the honorary chairman of the Novgorod and Perm department of the Union of the Russian People. He adhered to extreme right-wing political views: he idealized the Russian Middle Ages, and considered the “Christian faith and the autocratic Tsar” as an inextricable “sacred, national, historical heritage.” The author of the brochure “Conversations about the Union of the Russian People,” in which he not only actively defended the members of this organization from criticism from liberals, but also sought to substantiate many of the postulates of monarchist ideology from the standpoint of Orthodox doctrine. He asserted that “the Russian People, uniting in the Union, sets as its goal to preserve what we inherited from our great ancestors, who handed over to us the greatest country in the world and which over the past two centuries has been so significantly obscured by the Europeanism that has rushed into us.”

Since March 1913 - Bishop of Omsk and Pavlodar.

Since July 1914 - Bishop of Perm and Solikamsk. On July 1, 1916, he was renamed Bishop of Perm and Kungur in connection with the formation of the Solikamsk Vicariate. Since 1915 - archbishop.

According to the author of his life, Abbot Damascus,

his life was a model of ancient piety. He was an ascetic, a man of prayer and a non-acquisitive man, who considered all material well-being and wealth as nothing. The bishop donated all his funds to help the poor. He dressed simply, never wearing silk robes; and although he was awarded many orders, he never wore any decorations. The saint was a zealous follower of monastic rules and church rituals. He fasted strictly: on fast days he ate only vegetables, on fast days he made do with a small amount of food, and in the last days of Holy Week he ate only prosphora and tea. On the eve of the day when he was supposed to celebrate the liturgy, the bishop hardly slept, standing in prayer all night.

In 1916, on his initiative, missionary courses were created in the Perm diocese to expose unbelief and socialism. He traveled a lot around the diocese, visiting parishes and monasteries. He was an opponent of G.E. Rasputin. When visiting the Tsar’s Headquarters in August 1916, he unsuccessfully tried to dissuade Nicholas II from supporting the “elder”.

On February 25, 1917, in the Perm Cathedral, he led the consecration of Archimandrite Feofan (Ilmensky) as Bishop of Solikamsk, vicar of the Perm diocese.

On March 5, 1917, during the days of the February Revolution, he issued an appeal demanding complete submission to the Provisional Government, blaming the “death” of the monarchy on “dishonorable royal servants.”

In 1917-1918 he participated in the work of the Local Council. He had a sharply negative attitude towards the Bolsheviks coming to power. While awaiting arrest, he behaved completely calmly, confessed daily and received the Holy Mysteries. In case of his arrest, he left an order: “Arrested by the workers’ and peasants’ government, I forbid the clergy of the city of Perm and Motovilikha from performing divine services, except for the farewell of the dying and the baptism of infants.”

On June 17, 1918 he was arrested. On the night of June 20, security officers took the archbishop to the outskirts of Perm and forced him to dig his own grave. The murderers demanded that he lift his ban on religious services. (The clergy, out of fear of the Bolsheviks, actually ignored this ban). The Bishop refused, he was forced to dig his own grave and lie in it. After that, the security officers began to throw earth at him, shot several times at the lying archpastor and buried the grave.

In 1981, by the decision of the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, he was canonized as a holy martyr with the inclusion of the Council of New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia with the establishment of memory on May 25.

He was canonized as a locally revered saint of the Perm diocese in 1999.

In August 2000, he was canonized for church-wide veneration as a saint at the Jubilee Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On May 4, 2020, by decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, he was included in the council of “Fathers of the Local Council of the Russian Church 1917-1918.”

Personal life of a musician

Not much is known about the family of Konstantin Nikolsky. The famous artist chose his former classmate Marina as his wife. It is worth noting that after graduating from school, the future spouses did not hear from each other for several years. Then they met quite by chance and decided not to part again. In 1985, the couple had a daughter, who was named Julia.

To Konstantin’s great happiness, his daughter followed in his footsteps. She sings very beautifully. Despite the fact that Yulia is studying at the institute, studying foreign languages, she sometimes goes on stage with her father.

Andrey Nikolsky has prepared a surprise for his fans

Solo concerts of the poet, composer and performer Andrei Nikolsky are rare. And they are usually dedicated to his birthday. “On this holiday,” says Andrey, “like every person, I have the right to make a toast.” But this time (Andrey’s birthday in winter is December 23) everything is completely different. The solo concert “Bouquet of Love” by Andrei Nikolsky is scheduled for May 27. This time Nikolsky will perform on the chamber theater stage of the Gorky Moscow Art Theater. Previously, Nikolsky's concerts took place mainly at the Rossiya State Concert Hall. “I love this hall very much and am grateful to the people who helped me perform there,” says Andrey. “But I always understood that I needed a hall that was compact and more confidential. By the age of 53,” Nikolsky smiles, “I’m getting the stage I’ve always dreamed of.”

The concert program is also unexpected. Nikolsky will read his own poems and sing - exclusively about love. “This will be my first performance without a pessimistic note,” admits Andrey. “But in the fall there will be a concert again within the framework of my traditional concept - “Yellow Bad Weather.”

Nikolsky’s repertoire includes patriotic songs, love lyrics and Cossack themes, urban and emigrant romance. His songs have been sung by famous artists for many years. And the whole country.

To date, he has recorded 13 solo albums: “Tender Captivity”, “Hooligan from Pokrovka”, “What’s There, Away”, “Sotnik”, “Grey Troika”, “Dusya”, “Sing, Andryusha”, “I Raise your glass”, “Songs sung by the heart...”, “Four times of the heart”, “Tomorrow”, “Bouquet of love” and “Yellow bad weather”. A book dedicated to creativity has been published. But Andrey is still full of plans. “I approach my work with a rapture comparable only to the feelings of D’Artagnan when he first came to Paris,” he admits.

— Andrey, you are often compared to Sergei Yesenin...

— And with Pyotr Leshchenko, there was such a singer. I listened to him throughout my childhood, and now I can pick up a guitar and sing any of his songs. And his entire repertoire, as well as that of Alexander Vertinsky and Alyosha Dmitrievich... This is different. I have always tried, endlessly loving those who shaped me, to be different from them and to sing in my own way. In the preface to my collection of poems, a magnificent man, professor, historian Vyacheslav Ivanovich Dashychev, could not resist writing that I am the second Yesenin. I crossed out these words, telling him that I would like to remain Andrei Nikolsky.

- He wanted to praise you...

- Yes, I wanted to. (Laughs.) Of course, both Yesenin and Leshchenko are great names. But I don’t lay claim to their fame and talent. Because an assessment, even if it is trivial, will only be given by time. We know the wonderful poem by Innokenty Annensky: “Among the worlds in the twinkling lights of one star, I repeat the name...”. But Annensky died in wild poverty. And real recognition came to him after death! So what can I say now about my poems and my songs?

—You don’t evaluate your creativity in any way?

“I’m not really worried about my popularity at all.” Of course, you can ask me: if you don’t care about popularity, why do you release CDs, collections of poetry and give concerts? Because I can't write for myself. This is insanity - I sat down within four walls and wrote all my 270 songs for these walls...

- Andrey, you are a doubting person!

- Here's what. I always wonder if I’m polluting the great Russian language and if I’m claiming something to which I have no right.

— Which of your discs best characterizes you?

— Which was recorded right at the concert in “Russia” for my 50th birthday — “Four Times of the Heart.” There are all the directions in which I write and sing: love lyrics, pathetics, Cossack songs, hooligan, mischievous and philosophical.

Andrei Razin plans to prove his sanity in court

It recently became known that the stars are preparing a lawsuit against the scandalous producer Andrei Razin. Razin himself is already conducting proceedings, accusing Yuri Shatunov and Lev Leshchenko of libel.

- And the line?

- “Everything was frozen to the bottom, one soul was shining...” (From the song “She-Wolf.” - Author)

— When did you first realize in your life that you were a poet or musician?

- I still haven’t realized it. Because as soon as I start reading my favorite poets of the Silver Age (and if Pushkin comes to hand!..), I immediately begin to be in a terrible state - I’m ashamed even to look my children and my wife in the eyes.

— Why do you live in the country?

— For me, an apartment, even if it’s good, is still a hostel. Despite the fact that on my father’s side I am a native Muscovite (I was born on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, lived in the apartment where my mother still lives), I really love nature and country life. And all because, I think, that from my childhood my father took me to the village beyond Ryazan more often than to the south. And the bend of the river and the smell of village life were absorbed into me... Then the roofs of the houses were still thatched... I don’t know why this sunk into my soul so much, but it’s interesting to me and very calming.

Besides, everything is well organized at my dacha. There is a separate house with a music studio. And when musicians come to me, we work there completely differently. We open the windows... And after working, we went outside, rested, then worked again...

By the way, I went to meet you (I was out of town for three days) with joy. I miss Moscow.

— A new look at your hometown?

- Yes, I drive into it, and immediately associations, memories... And also, the further you are from your loved ones, the more you love them. The further you are from the place where you were born, the more precious it is to you.

— You are an avid hunter and fisherman.

— Yes, I arrived from Astrakhan three days ago. I went to the Volga.

- What did you catch?

— (Laughs.) You know, there was very big water. If that tells you anything. (Smiles.) The fishermen have arrived!.. Personally, I caught a decent bream. The friends who traveled with me caught white bream, pike, and huge carp. But, since the group gathered, so to speak, quickly oriented, we met local fishermen and, of course, we had the best fish from the Volga that you can catch: pike perch and sterlet.

- And everything went well?

- Certainly! On the bank of the river... Everything was perfectly organized for us. There were professional huntsmen among us, they made great caviar, we drank vodka, of course.

- Purely male rest...

- Yes. The only thing I can refuse a concert for is to go fishing.

— That is, if someday Andrei Nikolsky’s concert did not take place, it means he was fishing in the spring and autumn?

- (Laughed.) Yes. And in winter - hunting. Even in the fall I go to the forest to pick mushrooms... This could really somehow improve my concerts.

— The first audio and video recordings of your performances appeared in the 80s. And these were the so-called apartment concerts...

- This is absolutely funny! The other day, the keyboard player we work with comes to me and shows me a DVD he bought at Gorbushka, where I sing with a guitar. Recording from the early 80's! It turns out that a huge number of people recorded me when I performed at someone's house a long time ago. From Riga (there is Andrei Nikolsky's club there), they recently sent me three discs with a recording of such an apartment concert. It’s almost impossible to recognize my voice, even though “Andrei Nikolsky” is written on the disc. Disgusting accompaniment... Songs, half of which I barely remembered... But now I have used them: I am redoing them and am going to release the next disc based on them.

But you are right in that those who recorded me then today give my fans the opportunity to listen to songs performed by me. It is fantastic!

- You say that you are unpopular. But, apparently, you are a cult!

- I don’t know... But I’m worried, what was I doing there?.. (Smiles.) So I’m going to visit you, you tell me: “Andrey! Grab your guitar." I come, we have a drink, I pick up the guitar, and go scratch everything that comes to mind...

Meghan Markle placed a distorting mirror on the cover of Vogue and enraged her fans

The cover of the latest issue of British Vogue featured 15 photographs of famous women and a mirror insert in which readers were supposed to see their own reflection. The quality of the mirror outraged the readers, as they saw themselves in a distorted form.

— What were you doing 25 years ago, besides giving concerts in friends’ apartments?

— I graduated from the Plekhanov Academy, Faculty of General Economics, studied directly with Leonid Ivanovich Abalkin, then graduated from the Academy of Foreign Trade and worked at the Ministry of Foreign Trade in a famous high-rise building on Smolenka until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

—Have you already written?

- Yes. Kirkorov, for example, sings: “Look into my eyes with smart eyes...”, and I wrote these lines while still working in the ministry. I wrote songs, and I had them lying around, accumulating...

— How were foreign trade and poetry combined?

“It’s just that, being quite successful at work, I couldn’t decide to quit it.” I already had a daughter, I was married. It’s one thing when you quit your job as a janitor, a paramedic, a swimming coach... But I worked in Smolenka... Not only would they not have allowed me on stage, they wouldn’t have hired me anywhere afterwards. The 1991 revolution saved me. She gave me the opportunity to sing openly.

— Your first performer was Mikhail Shufutinsky?

- Yes, in 1987 he released the disc “White Stork”, where the main song was “Play the guitar”: “Well, play, play the guitar, well, ring, ring the string...”. But next to the title of the song it was written: “author unknown.” It was only later that we met him.

- Where did he find her? After all, he lived in America and could not come to Russia until 1990.

- In the notes that you just reminded me of. He heard them in America. And he came to Moscow and, when I came to his concert, he announced that the song was mine. He is a very decent person.

“I think he was glad to meet you.”

- Now we are very good friends. And then, at the concert, he sang a song and then said: “The author of the song is present in the hall - poet and composer Andrei Nikolsky.” And I stood up, the audience applauded... I was in a three-piece suit, in a tie - at that time I was still working at Vneshtorg...

- What are you dreaming about now?

- I'll tell you this. I dream that people can understand me in my work. Because I cannot say that I am talented, or whether I even have any talent at all. I can only say that everything I do is sincere. Another thing is when I’m in a reckless mood, then I write simple poetry. For example, on the new disc I have a song, it seems primitive, but I like it, with the lyrics: “Forgive me, forgive me, dear, dear! I don’t love anyone, I don’t know why...” What kind of work is this? And that was the mood. And I left him. I generally try to write everything down.

In general, my dream is to record and sing all my songs. Therefore, in addition to my nine discs, we need to release several more.

— Do you really have 270 songs?

- Yes. True, not all of them can be called songs - some have very simplified music...

— And yet, why will the concert on May 27 be different from others?

- Because I have a large collection of poems about the love of a man and a woman. But I don’t write about what children at the age of seven already know (laughs). A poet needs to write about what is not there, what one would like. Unfortunately, I don’t have many such poems. But they will all be performed at the concert on May 27, which I called “Bouquet of Love.” I, of course, will sing “She-Wolf” and “I Raise My Glass...” - my entire set, without which the audience will not let me go.

And the idea to do such a concert came to me a couple of years ago. It was a very hot May then. And the lilac blossomed in my garden, and then it was so warm that the jasmine immediately blossomed. I went outside and... a poem was born. “Nature is in harmony with time. It was May and a very warm day. Jasmine blossomed, and Persian lilac blossomed in that garden. And white lilac gave a crazy aroma. And the whole garden and this bright May day were in love with her...”

Konstantin Nikolsky now

In 2020, the famous figure Sergei Mirov decided to release a biography of Konstantin and his group “Resurrection”. But the famous musician reacted negatively to this impulse of the producer and said that he was against publishing the book. The famous figure nevertheless released the long-awaited work, but did not indicate the name of the musician himself on the pages of the book.

It is worth noting that Konstantin Nikolsky has not released new music for a long time. Despite this, posters with his photo are plastered all over the city. The popular artist to this day attracts huge crowds of people who love to listen to the musician’s old hits.
