Active work in cinema was of particular importance in Christine’s creative career. The directors liked what the talented actress could do on the set. Davis was often invited to star in various films, which later, for the most part, became popular.
After Christine starred in the feature film Sex and the City (created much later than the series - in 2008), it was time for something different. The actress began collaborating with the famous Belk department store chain.
Christine's life had many ups and downs, and among the latest was alcohol addiction, from which the actress suffered for some time. She claimed that it was alcoholic drinks that helped her fight natural shyness and other complexes.

Personal life[edit | edit code]
Davis has two children. In 2011, she adopted a girl, whom she named Gemma Rose Davis.[1] In 2020, she adopted a boy, Wilson.[2] They reside in Los Angeles, California.
Davis had a number of problems with alcohol. At one time she was a member of the Alcoholics Anonymous club. She cites how her Southern upbringing indulged a passion for alcohol: “Alcohol set me free. I was very shy and didn't know how to get out of my isolation. I drank for the same reason I chose to become an actress. I would like to feel and express myself freely."
Kristin Davis, children
Children of Kristin Davis , star of the TV series Sex and the City, were her long-time dream, but, for a number of reasons, having them was a big problem for the actress. Only in 2011, forty-seven-year-old Christine, having come to terms with the inability to have her own children, adopted a newborn girl, whom she named Gemma Rose Davis. She is very sensitive to the baby and does not like to show her off to others. The actress was never married, but she never complained about the lack of fans. Among her men were such famous personalities as Alec Baldwin, Liev Schreiber, Jeff Goldblum, and director Nick Leone.

Many people attribute Kristin Davis’s inability to have children earlier not only with her employment, but also with the fact that the actress had serious problems with alcohol for a long time. With his help, the actress, according to her, tried to cope with such a character flaw as excessive shyness. Kristin, having become a foster mother, fully felt all the responsibility of parental responsibilities, which made her a truly happy woman. She does not lose hope of meeting a worthy man with whom she could create a full-fledged family. In raising her adopted daughter, Kristin Davis tries to avoid the techniques that her mother used towards her, and which left many not very pleasant memories in the actress’s soul. Kristin's mother tried hard to impose her interests on her, diligently protecting her daughter from any frivolous activities. To escape from excessive parental care, Kristin Davis herself enrolled in a theater studio.
She always dreamed of theater while she was in school, and during her school years she had already become addicted to alcohol - first to beer, and in high school to whiskey, and this was quite common in the places where Christine grew up. When she entered Rutgert University in New Jersey, one of the most prestigious in the United States, she felt more free and independent, and, contrary to the wishes of her parents, she transferred from the psychology department to the dramatic arts department.
The parents, having learned about their daughter’s self-will, refused to pay for her education, and in order to earn money for it, the girl began working as a waitress. After graduating from university, her career did not take shape, and a series of unsuccessful film tests made her think about her professional incompetence. Christine continued to work as a waitress, and spent almost all of her salary on drinking, turning into a real alcoholic by the age of twenty-five. Fortunately, she managed to get rid of this addiction, and her career subsequently developed successfully. Also read: Christina Aguilera, children and Anna Akhmatova, children.

Films and TV series with her participation
Of course, Sex and the City is far from the only famous project in which fans can see Kristin Davis. The films and TV series in which she starred while working on the television project and after its completion are also worthy of the attention of viewers. For example, the actress received positive reviews from critics for her role in the film “Atomic Train,” in which she embodied the image of a lady with a strong character.
The actress does not refuse roles in films aimed at children. For example, she can be seen in the film “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava,” in which she played Max’s mother. The story is about a boy who suddenly finds himself inside his own dream.
Kristin is also good in comedies. The first proof of this was the painting “Welcome, or No Neighbors Allowed”. As the title suggests, the film talks about the complex relationships that can connect people living nearby. Davis can also be seen in the comedy “Formula of Love for Married Persons,” which tells about a married couple on the verge of divorce.
