However, diagrams, calculations and drawings did not attract the guy. He wanted to try himself everywhere, not only in science.
Alexey saw acting as the only profession in his life that could allow him to become whatever his heart desired. Therefore, without thinking twice, contrary to the advice of his parents, he quits the technical school and leaves for Moscow, where he successfully passes the selection process for the Shchukin School.
After graduation, Zavyalov becomes one of the few artists for whom fame awaits right at the exit from the educational building. The roles fell by themselves. In 1996, when a young graduate was hired at the theater. Vakhtangov, he is assigned to play good noble roles, but the role of a hero - a lover - suited him best.
His film debut took place in one of R. Shibeko’s films, after which the actor was noticed by the cinematic community in the early 2000s.

On August 7, 2011, Zavyalov left for the airfield near Kolomna. The actor had to jump with a parachute for the eighth time. This eighth jump was supposed to be a landmark for the actor - an unofficial pass to a more professional level in this extreme sport.

Alexey Borisovich fell and hit the ground hard. The actor was taken to the hospital with a serious head injury and numerous fractures: his ribs were broken, both hips were broken, and these injuries were also accompanied by numerous ruptures of internal organs; these injuries would subsequently cause the actor’s death. The doctors were surprised that they were able to bring Alexei to the hospital alive.
Three days later, the actor was transported from a hospital near Moscow to the Sklifosovsky Institute. For more than a month, doctors at the intensive care unit of the Sklifosovsky Institute fought for Zavyalov’s life. The actor underwent a number of difficult operations. The most difficult of them was the suturing of the liver, which the doctors were forced to carry out. Alexey Zavyalov also required more than one blood transfusion; the actor’s colleagues immediately came to the rescue. Both relatives and doctors did everything possible to save Zavyalov.

Maria wanted to take her husband for treatment to a German clinic; the actor’s relatives planned to organize an Internet fundraiser and hold an event in the theater, which would also help raise money to pay for treatment. But these plans were not destined to come true.
It was impossible to transport the actor. Alexey Zavyalov’s condition did not even allow doctors to do a tomography; it was impossible to take the man to the next department, let alone to another country.

The actor spent all this time in intensive care and on a ventilator. As far as fans and the press know, the artist never fully regained consciousness. Doctors observed Alexey’s consciousness to be dotted. The actor recognized his wife, who spent all her time in her husband’s room, understood some of the information and could even communicate by weakly squeezing his good hand. In the last couple of days before his death, the artist fell into a coma.

In Sklifosovsky, the doctor in the emergency department was surprised that the actor was taken to the hospital alive. He didn't understand how this could happen. Over the next almost two months, Zavyalov's basin was assembled bone by bone. All this time he lived on a ventilator.

It so happened that from childhood Zavyalov was separated from his loved ones, first in an orphanage and later in prison. Now Sergei is left completely alone, the guy has no one left alive from his relatives. Since his release from prison, the performer has not spoken about his personal life.
