Bryansk Grumpy , on December 28, approximately 100 km from the regional center. Our publication's sources report that 45-year-old Andrei Bardukov was hunting there.
Inadvertently, he apparently shot himself in the hip area. The wound turned out to be serious: emergency hospitalization was required. The “hunting incident” was kept as “classified” as possible from the media and the public - there is no official information on this matter. The chief physician of the Bryansk region was immediately placed in the intensive care unit of the district hospital (“Bryansky Grumpy” knows the location of the medical facility, but the publication does not name it for ethical reasons). Initially, they planned to transfer Bardukov to Bryansk, but his general condition did not allow this to be done, and almost a week later - Andrei Nikolaevich, according to our data, is still in the intensive care ward.
Surely the high-ranking victim could have been delivered to the regional center before the New Year. But the Bryansk region, unlike other regions (for example, the Volgograd region, headed by a friend of the Bryansk governor Andrei Bocharov), still does not have sanitary aviation (helicopters), which is indispensable in such cases. For medical reasons, an intensive care vehicle, not to mention a regular ambulance, cannot transport seriously ill patients over long distances.
Let us recall that the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, almost two years ago said a decisive and proletarian unequivocal “No!” in response to the initiative of one of his deputies to purchase at least one medical helicopter. Expensive! Two hundred ambulances, they say, can be bought with this money. Plus, rotorcraft are not cheap to maintain.
Air ambulance is really not a cheap pleasure. But this is not so much a pleasure as a vital necessity: very often the first, so-called, is fatal for the patient. “golden hour” after the onset of an attack (the same stroke) or injury. It’s especially scary when it comes to the health or life of a child. But I also feel immensely sorry for any sick or injured adult.
Perhaps now, due to the misfortune that befell the head of Bryansk medicine, the region will have its own air ambulance helicopter.
