She graduated from secondary school with a gold medal[11], and graduated with honors from a music school in piano class[12]. She entered the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts with a degree in Actor and Television Presenter, graduating with honors[9]. In 2008, she became the co-host of the Russian Channel One show “King of the Ring”, the host of the Ukrainian TV show “Television Star - Superstar”, and also took part in Ilya Averbukh’s project “Ice Age-2”, where her partner was professional figure skater Andrei Khvalko. Since 2010, she began studying acting at the Scott Sedita studio in West Hollywood (Los Angeles, California)[46].

In 2011, she took part in the second season of the TV show “Star+Star” and became the host of the program “Women’s Logic” on the Ukrainian channel ICTV. In June, the premiere of the song “Love U” took place, posted for free download on the official website[47].

School years

When it was time to go to school, Mom sent Anya to several sections at once. This was the only and reliable way to keep the girl occupied so that she would not be idle or wander around the street. Anya tried all the clubs that were nearby - drawing, embroidery, dancing, athletics. She also studied at a music school, from which she graduated with honors in piano. But the teachers of the circle immediately appreciated Sedokova’s dancing abilities, and soon the girl was transferred to the Ukrainian folk ensemble “Svitanok”. I had to get to rehearsals by two buses and a metro, so Anya had no time left for walks in the yard.

At school, Sedokova was not popular among her classmates - she was an excellent student, and on top of that, she was the daughter of a teacher. The guys were in no hurry to communicate with her, because they were afraid that she might pawn her mother. In 2013, Sedokova criticized the so-called “gay propaganda” law adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In an interview with the Ekho Moskvy radio station, the singer expressed bewilderment at the vague wording of the law, asking the question “what is propaganda?” Sedokova stated that the authors and supporters of the law “do not have the right to tell someone else who to love and what to do”[78].

In 2020, Sedokova supported the Kazakh singer Dequine, who spoke about sexual harassment from colleagues.
