After graduating from school, Dubovitskaya became a student at the local pedagogical institute . Due to the father's illness, the family was forced to move again, this time to Pyatigorsk. Here the girl had to transfer to distance learning, choosing to study German. After finishing her studies, Regina received a diploma with honors. However, it was of no use to the girl in the future.

Thus, one of Dubovitskaya’s first guests on the radio were Vladimir Vinokur, Efim Shifrin and Mikhail Evdokimov. The audience liked the comedians’ performances, and the young presenter was respected by her older colleagues. Despite her success on radio, Regina realized that the future belonged to TV programs. Therefore, Dubovitskaya left the radio and began implementing her new project.
In 1987, Regina Dubovitskaya created a humorous program called “Full House”. The best comedians of the Soviet period took part in this program.
