Actress Marina Shimanskaya, remembered by Russian viewers for the films “Take Care of Women” and “Ambulance 34,” has lived in Spain for many years, where she teaches acting. The woman moved abroad with her husband in 1992. Despite this, the artist often flew to Russia for work. She also tried not to forget about her close friends and was constantly in contact with them by phone.
For many years, Shimanskaya was friends with actress Elena Mayorova. According to the movie star, they talked a lot, discussed the events that happened in the lives of each of them. In May, before Mayorova’s birthday, Shimanovskaya flew to Moscow.
“I called Lena twice a day and bought these coupons. It was definitely not her birthday that I flew in. She had him on May 30, I was already in Moscow on the 20th, so as not to be late... At that time they were still writing letters,” the actress noted in an interview with the program “Alone with Everyone.”

Yulia Menshova reminded Shimanskaya of the events that occurred on August 23, 1997. Mayorova died under strange circumstances, having received serious burns. On this day, her friend was with her children in Moscow. The host of the program clarified whether Marina saw an acquaintance during her visit to the capital.
“We weren’t able to meet that day. She said she was sick. She said that she had a sore throat, and I was with the children... In general, I never gave any interviews about Lena. This is simply a fact, not an assumption. I told her that I was flying away tomorrow, she was surprised: “How is tomorrow?” We went with the children to buy gifts... We bought a game for Sasha and Olya. We went outside, and I started crying very hard. I do not know why. And then I found out that at that moment she died. Of course, I didn’t fly away anywhere. They flew away without me,” admitted Marina.

According to Shimanskaya, everyone understood that Lena needed help. “We all ask for forgiveness when a person leaves, because we understand that we probably could have done something if someone had told us at that moment that this is exactly what needed to be done... And if a person chose his own path, he will find a way to get around yours,” Marina explained.
Let us remind you that Elena Mayorova died due to an accident. The woman gargled with kerosene and dripped it onto her clothes. According to some reports, she then smoked and dropped a match on her dress while on the staircase at the entrance of her house. Things caught fire, the woman ran to the service entrance of the Mossovet Theater, which was nearby, and lost consciousness. With burns to 85 percent of her body, she was taken to the Sklifosovsky Institute, but the woman could not be saved.

The experts who gathered at the program advised the actress to come home more often. It is quite possible that this is where she will meet her new love. However, despite the fact that a lot of time has passed since the breakup, the actress still cannot let go of the situation and dreams of only one thing - to regain peace of mind.
Algis admitted that he dreamed of seeing his wife happy, and when he noticed that this was not so, he decided to leave.
“It so happened that living together is impossible. We haven't gotten divorced yet, by the way. After a divorce, the most correct thing is to talk about what was good,” commented the actress’s ex-husband.
