Will she be able to change her fate? Also starring in the film: Anastasia Filippova, Daria Baranova, Galina Petrova, Alexander Tsurkan.
Childhood: Yaroslavl
The family into which Artem was born in 1982 had nothing to do with art. But from early childhood the boy showed the makings of a creative person. In kindergarten, he sculpted original figures from plasticine, drew and sang with inspiration at matinees. In parallel with his studies at a comprehensive school, he went to the martial arts section, tried his hand at boxing and on the tatami. He enthusiastically carved wood and studied music.
Artyom Grigoriev in childhood
Diverse interests led Grigoriev to the acting studio at the Yaroslavl Theater. It was there that Artem felt like he was in a congenial element. The stage images created by the young actor, despite the amateur level, were bright and non-standard. The applause of the audience and the feeling of inner strength determined the future fate of the teenager: he firmly decided to become a professional actor.
Yunost: Moscow
After graduating from school, Grigoriev applied for an acting course at the Yaroslavl State Theater Institute, where he entered on the first try without any problems. The talented freshman, who immediately made a name for himself, was recommended by his teachers to study in Moscow. Artem listened to the advice and after the first year he set off to conquer the capital’s theater universities.
Artyom Grigoriev in his youth
The result of the entrance exams was a place in the workshop of Evgeniy Kamenkovich at the Moscow Art Theater School. Here the talented student’s talents developed in full force, which was appreciated by professionals: Grigoriev was invited to the CDR theater (Center for Drama and Directing) immediately after graduation. In addition to collaborating with the Center, Artem soon received roles in productions by the Meyerhold Center, as well as the Other Theater and Teatr.doc.
GRIGORIEV Konstantin Konstantinovich02/18/1937, Leningrad – 02/26/2007, St. Petersburg
Honored Artist of Russia
Theater
Konstantin Grigoriev was born in Leningrad several years before the start of the Great Patriotic War. His conscious childhood occurred in the post-war years. The boy was raised by his grandparents. While still at school, he became interested in the stage, led a drama club and dreamed of becoming an actor in the future.
After graduating from school, Konstantin Grigoriev attempted to enter a theater university. Having failed, he entered the construction institute, but did not study there for long. The stage attracted him, and the young man made his final choice - he went to study at the studio school at the Lensovet Theater.
In parallel with his studies, Konstantin began working at the Lensovet Theater as a stage master. Later he began to be attracted to episodic roles, and then more serious acting work appeared. So he was involved in the plays: “The First Person You Come,” “Tanya,” “Dangerous Age.”
Without a classical acting education, Konstantin Grigoriev, nevertheless, thanks to his talent, natural plasticity, dramatic temperament, courageous appearance, as well as exceptional hard work, received recognition among spectators and professionals. The actor revealed himself at the Theater. V.F. Komissarzhevskaya, where he came after the Theater. Lensovet. Here he played in the plays: “Amnesty”, “Men and Mice”, “The Lion in Love”, “The Prince and the Pauper”, “Blizzard”, “Physicists and Lyricists”, “Smoke of the Fatherland”, “My Mocking Happiness”, “Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti”, “First Chapter”, etc.
As often happens, truly talented people show themselves in different areas. So is Konstantin Grigoriev. In 1963, in collaboration with Boris Gersht, he published a collection of poems. In addition, Grigoriev painted oil paintings, composed songs (“Careful, leaf fall”, “Rain on the Neva”), theatrical plays (“While I was walking home”) and even operettas (“Alenka and Scarlet Sails”).
In 1972, Grigoriev moved to Moscow, where he was accepted into the troupe of the Pushkin Theater. He served in this sine until 1981, played in the plays: “The Legend of Paganini”, “The Fifth Ten”, “Robbers”, “Once Upon a Time I Lived”, “Guilty Without Guilt”.
In 1981, Konstantin Grigoriev, at the invitation of Oleg Nikolaevich Efremov, joined the Moscow Art Theater troupe. He did not work here for long - until 1983, but managed to play a number of interesting roles, including in the plays “Feedback” and “Duck Hunt”.
Movie
Konstantin Grigoriev began acting in films in the second half of the 60s. In the dilogy directed by Viktor Turov “War Under the Roofs” and “Sons Going to Battle,” based on the novel by Ales Adamovich, he played platoon commander Nikita Pinchuk. The films were staged in the genre of epic drama and told about the events in Belarus in the first years of the Great Patriotic War.
In the early 70s, Konstantin Grigoriev appeared in small roles in such famous films as the fairy tale film by Anatoly Granik “Twelve Months” (The Herald), the adventure film by Albert Mkrtchyan and Leonid Popov “Sannikov’s Land” (naval officer), the drama by Vasily Ordynsky “ Walking through torment" (Chugai). And the actor’s first widespread fame was brought by Nikita Mikhalkov’s famous drama “Slave of Love” (1975), where he appeared in the image of a White Guard captain, head of counterintelligence Nikolai Nikolaevich Fedotov, who was searching for red underground fighters.
Nikita Mikhalkov subsequently noted the actor’s keen, agile character, ability to subtly sense plot moves and find instant internal justification and precise psychological turns for any director’s proposal.
The following works - the bandit Gray in Alexander Faintzimmer's detective story "Tavern on Pyatnitskaya" and Schneider in the action-packed film "Trans-Siberian Express" (both 1977) - consolidated the success of Konstantin Grigoriev. It’s worth mentioning that he had the opportunity to act in a fight scene that was supposed to be choreographed by the stunt coordinators. But they did not arrive on time on the set, and Grigoriev, together with actor Oleg Lee, took up the production themselves, in which their sports skills came in handy: Grigoriev was seriously involved in boxing and Li-wrestling. As a result, the scene turned out to be so well executed that experts subsequently noted its absolute professionalism.
In 1979, Konstantin Grigoriev played the main role of Commissioner Pavel in the adventure film “Look for the Wind,” released at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. The fascinating plot of this picture sent the viewer back to the times of the Civil War and told the story of the rescue of a valuable domestic breed of horses by two Red Army soldiers. However, the film remained in the shadows and was not a great success.
After a number of large and small roles, Konstantin Grigoriev starred in the film adaptation of Robert Stevenson’s legendary novel “Treasure Island”, directed by Vladimir Vorobyov, where he played one of the main roles - Captain Alexander Smollett - a decisive and strong-willed man. A year later, the actor starred in the role of Nachoperot in the television film “The Green Van” directed by Alexander Pavlovsky (based on the story of the same name by A. Kozachinsky). In this picture, filled with humor, adventure, shooting and chases, the comedic talent of Konstantin Grigoriev was clearly demonstrated. His character, seemingly formidable and unapproachable, was performed with a fair amount of irony (as, indeed, the whole picture). One can only regret that this side of the actor’s talent remained undiscovered to the fullest extent...
Dramatic ending
The successful theatrical and cinematic career of Konstantin Grigoriev was interrupted by a tragic incident that occurred on February 17, 1984 in the House of Actors. What a career, this incident actually ruined the rest of his life.
All possible witnesses are silent about the details of the incident and its participants. It is only known that after a verbal altercation, Grigoriev went out onto the stairs with someone for a “showdown.” As a result, he received a strong blow to the head from behind, after which he was pushed down the stairs. Grigoriev woke up already in the hospital. He had to undergo eight operations, but the injuries were so serious that even after treatment the actor still had health problems: partial memory loss and dysfunction of the left hemisphere of the brain. The public was never able to find out who this bastard was, but there were immediately spiteful critics and envious people who tried to spread rumors about Grigoriev’s “abnormal” mental state. The actor's career was put to rest.
In the same 1984, the biographical film “Leo Tolstoy” was released, in which Grigoriev played a small role of the merchant Nikolai. The character was voiced, for obvious reasons, by another actor.
Seven years later, Alexander Solovyov, with whom Konstantin Grigoriev starred in the film “The Green Van,” invited him to play the role of Pyotr Yakovlevich Kravchenko in his film “Tanks Are Walking Along Taganka.” However, Solovyov's directorial debut was unsuccessful. This role was the last for Konstantin Grigoriev...
The actor passed away on the evening of February 26, 2007 in St. Petersburg. Konstantin Konstantinovich was buried on February 28 at the Bolsheokhtinskoye cemetery.

Grigoriev’s work in the biographical film “Brothers Ch” by Mikhail Ugarov became subtle and piercing. In it, the actor reincarnated as Anton Chekhov’s talented older brother, Alexander, who never realized himself as a writer. Then there were the roles of Maxim Morozov in “Construction”, Anatoly Lyakhov in the Ukrainian melodrama “I will always wait for you.” 2020 was the most fruitful year for Artem in the role. He played three main roles and several minor ones in one go.

Personal life of Artem Grigoriev
Artem courted his future wife with all seriousness, which was confirmed by their marriage at the beginning of 2020. Renata Kurmaleeva and her daughter from her first marriage, Emilia (born in 2012), personify the main thing in the actor’s life.

One of the actor's hobbies is cooking. Both Artem himself and all his acquaintances unanimously declare that he cooks excellently. Grigoriev is also of great interest in boxing. He not only loves to watch a good fight on TV, but he himself is not averse to boxing a punching bag.

Artem and his wife are rare visitors to social events. They prefer to spend time alone with each other, travel and choose active pastimes. In addition to trips to the Black Sea resorts or abroad, the couple has chosen a place in the Tula region, where for the weekend they rent a house with a fireplace and a sauna.
The actor posts photos from his trips on his Instagram account. Artem also has a group on VKontakte, where you can see series of your favorite TV films with the participation of the artist. Lately, the performer has been devoting little time to developing his social networks. The actor himself calls Instagram a “boastgram” and has stopped publishing pictures related to family life.

2018 brought the actor two main roles: in the melodrama “Contrary to Fate” he plays teacher Vadim Orlovsky, with whom the main character of the film Dasha fell in love (played by Anastasia Filippova) and the capital’s musician Innokenty in the melodrama “Marusya”. His stern grandfather was played by the stunning Aristarkh Livanov in the film. Vlad Nikolaev’s dramatic detective story “Nemesis” is in production, where Grigoriev plays in company with Yuri Chursin, Alena Kolomina, Grigory Zeltser. The film will be released in 2019. Biography
The future actor was born in 1970 in St. Petersburg. Little is known about Pavel Grigoriev’s childhood. He graduated from a regular high school and entered the theater university of Yaroslavl, where he studied in a puppet theater course. The creative group was led by Dombrovsky.
Later, Grigoriev entered the conservatory in the department of musical theater artists. The master of his course was Yushmanova. Pavel graduated from music education in 2000. He recalls that already in 1995 he actively played in Molodezhny on Fontanka. The repertoire consisted mainly of classical theater productions:
- 12 night;
- Screams from Odessa;
- Tradesman in the nobility;
- Music was playing in the garden;
- Married bride.
Since 2000, Grigoriev has been a soloist in the Zazerkalye musical children's theater. He recalls: The period was interesting, I performed baritone roles in operas and operettas.
This change in activity and combination of music and acting indicated a constant search.
In 2008, Grigoriev moved to the St. Petersburg Musical Comedy Theater. There he settled and still performs. Among Pavel's bright characters one can highlight roles in Lefty, Oliver, Mister X, and Sevastopol Waltz.
In films, Grigoriev did not get particularly prominent roles. The first films are Love and Separation, Barack, Trace of the Tiger, Queen of the Game, others. At first, the roles were small, but success began to come to the actor. We will not list all the films, since Grigoriev still played episodes in them. But the roles of 2018-2019 became high-profile and made the artist famous. Among them are tapes:
- Call Myshkin;
- One;
- Selfie with destiny;
- Stars and foxes;
- Super Five;
- Save Leningrad;
- Cipher.
The actor speaks little about his work in interviews, but always emphasizes: I’m glad that now I can choose where to film and who to play.
Heaven and earth compared to what it was 20 years ago - during the time of tossing, self-searching, obscurity. Along with the recognition of the public and critics comes satisfaction from what you do.
