You definitely didn’t know this: interesting facts about Feduk!

Childhood and adolescence

Feduk began his life's journey in Moscow, born into a family of teacher parents and a diplomat grandfather.
While still just a child, 5-year-old Feduk goes to China, where his parents are invited to teach children living in the Russian embassy in China. After 2.5 years, the Insarov family returns to their native land, but after a couple of years, Father Feduk is again called to a diplomatic mission in Budapest, and the whole family rushes after him.

By the way, in Moscow, Feduk went to a music school, which he practically graduated from. His musical arsenal includes three instruments: guitar (balalaika), clarinet and trumpet.

As a child, Feduk listened mainly to pop-punk and similar driving-tube genres, but in Budapest everything changed. In 2004, he meets his best friend Rodion, and he opens up the world of hip-hop to him. Radik, knowing English, translated songs of legendary performers for Fedya and made his friend fall in love with the genre.

Then they start getting together at home and freestyle on a cheap microphone. Penetrating more and more into culture, Feduk is engaged in writing (drawing graffiti). As a personal tag line, he took his nickname Feduk and added “1” to it, which eventually turned into Feduk 1love, which in the future appears in almost all of his tracks.

As a child, Fedor had to travel a lot. The boy was born on February 9, 1992 in Moscow, and at the age of 5 he moved with his parents to China. The family lived in the Middle Kingdom for three years, after which they returned to Moscow again. There Fedya went to a music school, where he mastered playing the trumpet, balalaika and clarinet.

Rapper Feduk as a child (right)

But his nomadic life did not end there. In 2004, the family moved again, this time to Hungary. Fedya lived in Budapest for four years and now remembers these years with great warmth. It was there that he “got sick” with rap thanks to his friend Rodion Meshkov (Rodnique).

He knew English well, was fond of Eminem’s work and translated the content of his songs to Fyodor. Over time, the guys began to write tests themselves and read them at home with a guitar.

The future rap artist was born in Moscow on February 9, 1992. From early childhood, little Fedor moved from one town to another. The fact is that my father’s job was like this, and he constantly needed to go to distant countries. Without understanding how lucky he was, Fyodor was angry and offended by his parents.

Moving from one place to another, he said goodbye to his old friends and made new ones. He lived for several years in China, where he managed to learn not only Chinese, but also English. However, in the future, the Insarov family moved again, this time to Budapest. The rap star was eleven years old at the time. In this beautiful city, he managed to get to know rap well.

The young man was never interested in music and, in general, rarely listened to this genre, but one day while walking around the neighborhood, he saw a group of people who were rapping with particular zeal. However, none of them made the same impression on Fedor that the rapper under the pseudonym “Spring” managed to make on him.

Where did Feduk study?

The rapper immediately liked Fedor, and he began to help him. For one year, he taught him what he himself had learned and thanks to his help, Fedor gained not only greater self-confidence, but also the pseudonym “Feduk”. According to the singer, he did not choose this nickname himself; the fact is that it is difficult for Hungarians to pronounce the name “Fedor” and therefore everyone called him “Feduk”.

Feduk specially for SPLETNIK.RU: “The girls have become very cunning now”

“Rose wine” settled into our heads more than six months ago and is not boring at all.
And after an incredibly funny parody shown on Ivan Urgant’s show, even those who had not heard it before learned about the song. The magic of this track (the clip has received more than 60 million views!) is unknown, but the culprits that the line “It’s so beautiful here, I stop breathing” sounds in almost every headphone are now familiar to many - these are Fedor aka Feduk and Alexey, better known as Eljay. The artists stopped communicating with each other almost immediately after the video was released. Feduk, aka Fyodor Insarov, has already discussed the reasons in an interview with Yuri Dudu. SPLETNIK.RU met with Feduk on the eve of the Moscow concert and asked about correspondence with fans, the new song “Flakes Are Flying Up,” the release of the album and the scar on his stomach. Let’s make a reservation right away: Fedya turned out to be wildly sweet and modest. Gossip girls, keep the sounds to a minimum, let's go! The hit “Pink Wine” has been on playlists for more than six months and almost no one is still tired of it, not even you, the person who performs it over and over again. What's the magic?

I don’t know, but what we really got was just some kind of audio drug. The chorus is euphoric - I don't know how to explain it. The worst thing is that the song really doesn’t get boring and constantly evokes some kind of unusual feeling, including me - and this happens with every listen! It is very interesting how long she will still be heard and on the dance floors.

Have you resumed communication with Eljay? Will you perform “Rose Wine” together?

No, we still don't really communicate. We are both very busy, we don’t have time for this and, most importantly, there are no common topics. Everyone is minding their own business, and, roughly speaking, no one cares about each other. As for singing a song together... I don’t know, maybe. Anything can happen in life. I have no conflict with him, I am unvindictive and unvindictive. Offensive thoughts do not creep in.

What about him?

I have never heard many sincere things from him. I don't know how to evaluate all this.

Feduk and Eljay

You recently returned from Bali, were you able to write new lyrics and tracks there?

In fact, in such places I first feed on emotions, and after some time they overtake me, and I write about it. Yes, I wrote a few choruses there - two or three. But these are short things that I will finish in Moscow.

During your vacation, you didn’t part with your smartphone: you published a lot of photos and funny stories. He rode a motor scooter, danced, sang and just fooled around. There were some beach photos too - and everyone noticed that you had a scar on your stomach. How did he appear?

It was a very serious operation on the stomach and intestines, which I had to do as a child. My life was at risk, but now everything is fine. I don’t like to talk about it because I was sick a lot throughout my childhood and spent months in hospitals.

You yourself said that your audience on Instagram is mainly female. Do girls often write to you and send you their photos? Do you think you could fall in love with your fan? And is it difficult to understand whether they love you for fame and money or just for the fact that you exist?

Yes, they write, but, by the way, they don’t really send me candid photographs. It happens sometimes, but very rarely, and then these are some very young girls.

Insincerity, in fact, can be noticed, but the girls are now (and were before) very cunning. Therefore, sometimes it is really difficult to understand where the truth is and where the lie is. Maybe, of course, it depends on life experience. Now, when something like this happens, I try to transform the relationship into a super-friendly one, but only if the person is really good. Yes, I understand that someone can take advantage of my fame, but let such people themselves be embarrassed for their actions, not me (by the way, now Fedor’s heart is free. - Ed.).

Do you like reading?

I read a lot as a child, because my mother is a Russian and literature teacher. I read almost everything that was assigned to us for the summer. But now, for the last six or seven years, I read very little, I don’t have a favorite author, I can’t argue with someone about the style of some poet or discuss a book. Everything had already flown out of my head, and the books that I opened relatively recently (“Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand, “Three Comrades” by Erich Maria Remarque, “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho), I couldn’t even finish reading. The problem is that there is no self-organization.

You already had a period of fame after the release of the song for the film “Okolofutbola”, but it quickly passed. Five years later you are a star again. How do you feel about popularity now?

I don’t feel like a star and I’m mediocre about it. Now it’s much more difficult to appear in some public places: if I go to eat in some ordinary place, I begin to catch surprised looks. And I don’t immediately realize what’s happening, because I just came to eat. After a while, people start coming up, taking pictures, asking something... There is such a concentration of attention that I feel awkward. I don’t want to get used to it, because popularity can suddenly disappear.

Many people note that you sing with your eyes closed. By the way, when you give an interview, you don’t always make eye contact either. Where does this shyness come from? And is this shyness?

When I sing, I try to feel and hear the song from within. Sometimes I even forget where I am, and this is normal, typical of creative people and singers. I always sing soulful slow acoustic compositions with my eyes closed. On the contrary, I sing something energetic and danceable with my eyes open and always looking at the audience.

Yes, I always have embarrassment. You see, I'm still just getting used to all this. For me, everything started to happen very abruptly. Previously, I didn’t really give interviews or go to TV shows. There are no problems with clips - there is no fear of the camera.

The other day your new song was released, which fans were really looking forward to - “Flakes are flying up.” Tell me what kind of flakes are and why they fly up instead of down?

Of course, the first association is with snow. But the fact that they are flying upward is quite strange, I agree. I won't relate this song to any specific time of year, because that's not what the song is about. The idea is this: something incredible happens, as if not in reality - so the flakes fly upward, logic is violated. Something just flies up.

“Cereal” is a different style of music compared to “Rose Wine.” In most cases, acoustic music is not as popular as dance music, but these songs can become hits among different audiences. For example, songs by the groups “Dancing Minus” and “Lyapis Trubetskoy”. By the way, their music has always been close to me.

Tickets for your upcoming Moscow concert on March 9 are already sold out. Are there any touring plans and when can we expect the new album to be released?

From the beginning of March we are launching a big tour of Russia: 40 cities, more new ones will be added! This is a very interesting experience for me because I will be performing almost every day. After Moscow and St. Petersburg, we fly all over Russia to set the heat. And in the fall, on November 18, we will present a new album at Stadium. It will be almost all dance. I can’t say exactly what style this music has, but it’s nice to dance to and drive a car to. Such a cool dance lounge and house - all together.

Don't you get offended when they call you the Russian Drake? Do you generally like his work?

By the way, I had never even noticed before that I looked like Drake. One time I somehow cut my hair, and everyone started telling me about it. No, I'm not offended. I really like how Drake is developing and how quickly he came to success. In a very short period of time, Drake has achieved great results - more than all Western rappers combined.

Initially, I liked Drake because he was one of the first to integrate singing into rap. I do this too, but a little differently. I don't rely heavily on it and don't copy anything. In general, I noticed that over the past five years everyone has caught up with this wave.

Drake

Why do you even write songs?

If you read and listen to my texts, you will notice a lot of incomprehensible things. I have unusual images, the lines form themselves. I don’t plan anything from the beginning—the words just flow naturally. I understand that this comes from the outside. I guess I have a connection with something supernatural.

Of course, I wonder why I’m writing this down, for whom, what the meaning of all this is. In fact, all my creativity is based on kindness, honesty and warmth... In life, not everything is always smooth, and with my songs I want to make people a little kinder. I pay attention to the emotional moments of life and look at them under a microscope. You know, it’s like in books, when one natural phenomenon is described on four pages. So I pay a lot of attention to describing emotions or phenomena.

Sometimes my texts contain banter. I like this contrast: when famous, successful and wealthy people behave simply, embarrassing people who consider themselves popular, media and talented (we did not understand what exactly Feduk meant. - Ed.) . I can upset them with some simple words, not on purpose, but I like it. The same thing happens in my compositions. I can laugh at someone else and make fun of myself, but without humiliating or offending anyone.

We thank Anastasia Bazarnova for her help in preparing the material!

Feduk – Okolofutbola

Feduk loves football, but he has never been a fan, and certainly not a hooligan. In 2012, filming took place of the Russian response to the “Green Street Hooligans” called “Okolofutbola”.

The still unknown Fyodor Insarov took part there as an extra in the big fight scene. Throughout the day, he met people and eventually was offered to record a theme track.

Thus, the composition “Football” was created, which became the song for the credits and the new unspoken anthem of all football hooligan parties.

Feduk was immediately assigned to the rank of hooligans, but each time he denied this fate, declaring that he acted there as a musician, nothing more.

Breakthrough and start of a musical career

It is clear that the young man was so carried away by his new hobby that he was already dreaming with particular enthusiasm about fame and popularity. The young man, unlike some famous personalities, did not sit back and wait for “that very moment,” he acted. Already in 2009, he became the leader of the group “Dobro za Rap”; the new musical team turned out to be quite large; in addition to Feduk himself, there were seven more talented and gifted rap performers.

A year later, the group not only released its first and long-awaited album, but also released several very incendiary videos. In his songs, Fedor openly shared his experiences, talked about his failures, his love for girls and football. In 2013, he was offered to record a musical composition for the upcoming film “Okolofutbola”; it is clear that this was a big breakthrough for the aspiring performer, and he naturally agrees.

The new track appealed to the taste of young people and Feduk became a famous singer. For two years, Feduk churned out one hit after another, becoming more and more popular and in demand. Despite the fame that he had dreamed of for so long, it did not cloud Fyodor’s head, and he remained the same, an ordinary and pleasant guy.

The subsequent years of the rap artist were so successful that he became known throughout the country. Without any effort, he managed to conquer the Russian musical Olympus, which, thanks to him, breathed a little fresh air and gave a chance to many aspiring performers. However, it was his joint track with rapper Eljay, “Pink Wine,” that brought him real success.

Returning to Moscow, Fedor took the pseudonym FEDUK (as his friends called him) and with his brother Kirill formed his first team, “Dobro za Rap,” which included six more of their friends. In 2010, the guys recorded their first album, “Moscow 2010,” dedicated to reflections on the meaning of life, “boyish” friendship and love of football. The result was a good collection in the underground style, which was positively received in the capital's rap scene.

In 2012, Fedor was offered to record the soundtrack for the film “Okolofutbola” by Anton Bormatov about the life of football fans hidden from ordinary people. The rapper himself is a devoted Spartak fan, so writing a suitable track was not difficult for him. In addition, the musician was involved in several crowd scenes and gained invaluable acting experience, which was useful to him in the future when working on video clips.

"Pink wine"

“Pink Wine” is Feduk’s most popular and scandalous song. The single became a real super hit. It blew up the music charts. Received a huge number of awards. Received many millions of views on YouTube. The frantic excitement around “Rose Wine” turned its authors – Feduk and Eldzhey – from friends into sworn enemies! The whole story began with a harmless desire of rappers to record a joint track.

In the summer of 2020, the guys finally managed to get together. Eljay provided his minus, which was sent to him by beatmaker Empaldo Beats. In turn, Fedor found in the notes a chorus written during a vacation in Goa. This is how “Rose Wine” came about!

Immediately after the song was released, it became clear that it would become a real hit. “Rose Wine” held first place in Top Radio & YouTube Hits for almost two months. For about the same period, the track was number one on Apple Music and iTunes. The song was originally released under the title “Eljay – Rose Wine feat. Feduk." At the request of the latter’s representatives, the title of the track was changed to “Eldzhey & Feduk – “Rose Wine”. As for the rights to the single, according to Fedor, during recording he agreed with his colleague that the rights to the composition would be divided in half. However, Eljay's representatives stated that the rights to the track belong entirely to them. As a result, Feduk received 35% of the rights to “Rose Wine”.

3 months after its release, the track was filmed. A few days later the clip was blocked on YouTube. Eldzhey's representatives did not like that the name of their artist came after Feduk, whereas in the original song it was first. Eljay himself said that he did not like the clip, noting that despite this he would unblock him.

Feduk Personal Life

Despite his activity, Feduk tries not to go into details of his personal life. It is known that he previously dated Daria Panfilova for a long time, but now the couple has separated.

The artist has no plans for relationships, because they take up all the time that can be devoted to music.

Fedor Insarov is a very handsome, kind, sincere and distinguished guy. Even before becoming a famous rapper, a huge number of girls ran after him, however, despite his popularity among the fair sex, the young man did not date anyone. Many of his friends were jealous of him and wondered why he wasn't dating anyone.

But Feduk, in turn, denied it as best he could, the fact is that for him his career came first. No matter how much he loved girls, he understood that relationships could interfere with him, and therefore he was alone for a long time. It would seem that loneliness can drive a person crazy, but not the singer, thanks to this feeling he was inspired and wrote his famous tracks. But as it happens, one chance meeting, one chance glance and that’s it, you are enchanted.

This happened with Fedor Insarov, for him his one and only was an ordinary, unremarkable girl named Dasha Panfilova. The young people were together for many years, despite the growing popularity and demand among the fair sex, Feduk was faithful to his chosen one.

However, after so many years of relationship, Fedor and Daria broke up. Unfortunately, it is not known what the real reason for their separation is, but now the young people are trying to maintain exclusively friendly relations. Dasha quite often publishes pictures with her ex-lover, as does he himself.

On July 27, 2009, Fedor met model Daria Panfilova, who became the lady of his heart and muse of the brutal rapper. Every year they celebrate the date they met in a romantic setting.

Who wants some potatoes?

Who would have thought that you could do something like this for the sake of an album cover! In 2020, Fedor and his comrades fried 16 kg of potatoes, which they used to create a filming background. By the way, the prepared quantity was not enough: the rapper bought the missing provisions from McDonalds in the amount of 20 huge portions.

“We considered that among the Russian-speaking population the word “fries” is associated more with potatoes than with the word “free.” As a matter of fact, that’s how the idea for filming was born ,” said photographer Alexey Rozhkov.

Feduk – Solo Album

In the wake of the hype from the film Okolofutball, Feduk records as many as 3 albums: “Hotter Season”, 2013, “Ghetto Space” 2013 and “Noty Staff” 2014.

This allows you to “maintain the brand”, but does not become a source of explosion. The level of fame remained the same, and Feduk began to be called a one-track artist.

The rapper himself admits that at that time he tried himself as various sales managers and office clerks, but still chose the path of rap. Although he treated music rather irresponsibly, sitting at home all day and coming to the studio only “under inspiration.” But as we all know, this path leads to nowhere.

Feduk 2020

After Feduk broke up with Dasha, he can rarely be seen in the company of at least some girl. Apparently, after eight years of relationship, the singer decided to enjoy his freedom and at the moment does not want to date anyone. But Dasha Panfilova quickly came to her senses. Of course, at first it was not easy for her, but the girl came to terms with it and continued to communicate with Fedor just as actively.

However, unlike her ex-lover, the girl was tired of being alone and began dating not just anyone, but Feduk’s best friend. This news shocked many, but the singer is actually very happy for his ex-girlfriend and for his friend. Many Internet users were very surprised by this behavior; no one expected that the rapper was such a modern person and, despite the fact that his ex-lover and best friend are together, he is sincerely happy for them.

Favorite Audi artist

In order to find out what kind of car Feduk drives, you need to look at his personal blog page on Instagram. The rapper very often posts photographs in which he is captured driving a beautiful white Audi RS 5. The same page will show what kind of car Feduk had before - also an Audi, only the A3 or A5 series in fiery scarlet color. It is noteworthy that the cost of these models is quite high. Each of them costs from 1.8 to 3.5 million Russian rubles.

Alaya Audi

The current car of the musician Feduk and past cars, they all belong to models that fall under the “sports” classification. The Audi RS 5 he is driving now belongs to the Gran Turismo class, produced on the platform of the A5 model. Gran Turismo is a car for high-speed travel, equipped with a two or four door body.

Feduk's current car
The features of Feduk's Audi RS 5 Gran Turismo include:

  • the presence of a high-spirited 4.2-liter engine;
  • ability to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds;
  • equipped with an automatic seven-speed transmission;
  • unique design including modified bumpers, fenders and spoiler.

Laconic design of a powerful car
In addition to the musician Feduk, Audi cars are in the garage of Philip Kirkorov, Timati, Mikhail Galustyan. Among Western celebrities, Justin Bieber and Kevin Costner prefer cars produced by the German concern.

Feduk and Pasha Technician

Another strange collaboration in Feduk’s life was his friendship with Pasha Technik (biography), who is without a doubt the most controversial character in the entire Russian-language scene.

As Feduk himself admitted, the Container group, which was founded by Pasha Technik (biography), was the first Russian underground that he heard and fell in love with such post-humor outside the framework.

Together with Container, Feduk recorded a couple of tracks and made a promo for the VK group MDK.

Eldzhey And Feduk Conflict

Eldzhey (biography) and Feduk were old comrades in street music and both evolved into club motifs. The rappers had been planning to record something for a long time and finally decided what exactly they wanted.

Feduk dug up his old sketches, recorded the chorus and a start was made. The track rose wine became the main hit of 2020, winning the main prize at the VK Music Awards.

As it should be, when a lot of money is involved in friendship, everything goes awry. This is what happened with Rose Wine.
