Natalya Vetlitskaya. Biography of the singer, personal life, career, photo

If a musician rarely appears on TV screens or has disappeared from television altogether, this does not mean that he has stopped his creative activity, and there are many examples of this statement. A clear illustration of such a paradox is the singer Sveta, whose songs were continuously performed on radio and TV in the early 2000s. She rarely comes to talk shows, her songs are rarely featured in music programs, but her popularity has not fallen, on the contrary, it has grown: Sveta is actively touring, you can buy tickets for her concerts only in advance by announcement on the Internet, and always at performances the artists are a full house. She, one might say, changed the video-television-electronic version to the “live” one and did not lose at all because of it. On the contrary: she is known in all countries of the former CIS, and they look forward to her arrival in any city.

The fact that no “yellow” information is printed about the singer Sveta also does not affect her popularity. It is already becoming unfashionable to fight online with your husband because of his adventures or to post the dirt of your personal life for everyone to see: people are tired of looking at disgusting scenes. They want to see happiness, decency, they want to make sure that a normal lifestyle and a strong family go hand in hand with fame and talent. An example of such harmony in everything is Sveta, the heroine of our story.

What is known about Sveta’s childhood and youth

The girl’s parents, according to her, allowed her to do what she liked best, and she took advantage of this permission from early childhood: at the age of five, Sveta had already recorded her first song, which was played for a long time on Rostov radio. But the father and mother of the future star were adamant about one thing: they demanded good success from their daughter in school. The artist later recalled: “I really didn’t like the fact that they constantly said – look, study well! And now I understand that mom and dad were right.”

The talent, which appeared almost from infancy, still needs to be polished, and the girl is sent to a music school. This was real happiness for children born in the 80s: they still managed to find music schools, clubs, courses for free or literally for pennies - go wherever you want if you have enough time. Sveta attended two musical institutions at once because she wanted to play the piano and study vocals at the same time, but one department did not have such a program. So she ran first to school, then to the “music school” for piano class, then to another to take up singing.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

After graduating from high school, neither the parents nor the girl had any doubts about where to go: of course, to the Rostov Music College! It is now unknown when Sveta wrote her first hit, which is essentially her “calling card” - “The Road to the Airport”: either in the 10th grade, or when she had already entered college. But the singer accurately stated her age when the song was released in an interview - she was fifteen years old.

While still at school, Sveta, as one of the most gifted students, was accepted into a folklore ensemble, with which she toured major cities of the Soviet Union, and these tours continued when she entered the music school. As the girl later said in an interview on her native Rostov TV: “I actually didn’t have a childhood from the middle of school. When my classmates went on vacation and rested, our work began - we went on tour. On March 8th, everyone sat down to the festive table, and we (the ensemble) were released from classes a few days before the holiday for rehearsals before the concert, and on the 8th we were also busy all day.”

According to the artist, she was “hardened by the stage since childhood,” because during the tour there were sometimes three or four concerts a day. Meanwhile, the folder with the texts and notes of future hits was becoming thicker: the girl was already creating songs professionally. A unique high, clear voice, excellent external characteristics - there is enough “baggage” for moving up to the musical Olympus. The only thing that bothered the young artist was that she was a little stiff on stage. It was in order to learn to behave more freely in front of a large public that Sveta chose the choral conducting department at the school.

Rostov-on-Don was unusually rich in talent in those years. For example, Vasily Vakulenko, another Rostovite “star”, known to modern youth as Basta, studied on the same course with Svetlana. Another example of bright talents born in Rostov is the PPK group, meeting with whom in 1998 became a springboard for Sveta into the world of big music.

They met at the “Syndicate 2000 DJ” concert: many talented groups and artists performed at the grand show, including the aspiring singer-composer Sveta Koltunova. Sasha Polyakov and Seryozha Pimenov were so delighted with her performance that they offered to work together. 1998 is the beginning of the creative tandem of the duet PPK and Sveta, and a year later the singer’s disc “Love” is released - a unique album, the result of their joint work.

Further brilliant creative activity

What else can you call what happened after the release of the “Love” album? In a couple of months, the disc sold an official circulation of half a million. And “Gorbushka,” the “Mecca” of pirated products of those times, “made” fabulous money from Sveta and her album - supposedly more than two million “Love” discs were sold. It is impossible to calculate the profit of the Gorbushka hucksters, but the income from official sales of the record was so substantial that it easily covered the costs of recording the disc and brought a significant amount to the musicians of the PPK group and Svetlana.

A talented but unknown poet, singer and composer turned into a star in just a few days. What especially influenced the success was what was emphasized in the press: Sveta creates her songs “from cover to cover” herself, the only thing she “polishes” is the arrangement. The song “Your Eyes” was broadcast continuously on all radio stations, the single “What should I do?” became a popular hit. The fact that Svetlana wrote it under the impression of her “affairs of the heart” especially “warmed up” the attention of fans to this song. In an interview, she said that after a difficult conversation with a young man on the street of Rostov, she quarreled with him, stopped a taxi, and in the car a melody and words were born by themselves.

In 2001, the city witnessed an unprecedented event: the central Sports Palace, where the singer Sveta’s concert took place, could not accommodate everyone who wanted to listen to the artist! People stormed the ticket offices, snatched treasured pieces of paper from the ticket hucksters, without even haggling over the price; the unluckiest stood on the street in the hope of hearing at least something from outside. The presentation of the singer’s new collection took place at the Rostov Sports Palace - it was the album “Another”.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

Rising to the top of the list of performers is one thing, staying on top of the musical iceberg and “not getting burned out” in the rush of wild popularity is much more difficult. This did not happen with Sveta: another year later, in 2002, a new collection “Another” was released, which was greeted with even greater delight by an enthusiastic army of fans. Critics tried to “drown” the singer, some wrote: “The music is so banal, the lyrics are so simple and tasteless that these songs do not at all resemble works of art. So-so, for worker-peasant tastes and low intelligence.” Sveta took these attacks in her direction calmly: a work of art, she said, is not something that needs to be thought about for a long time and difficult to understand, but something that everyone likes!

In the same 2002, with the support of the venerable producer and video director (part-time composer and director) Vyacheslav Tyurin, Sveta gives fans another of her creations - the disc “Come Back, My Love.” Not only did Mr. Tyurin help the singer in working on the album, Evgeny Rudin, the legendary DJ Groove, also had a hand in it, and quite thoroughly. It was time to go on a large-scale tour, which the artist did: spectators in the cities of the Black Sea coast still remember the crowded clubs and sports palaces where she performed.

A new disc, and again the critics’ grudges: when, they cried, will the singer stop churning out albums with banal names? And the album “The Most Tender”, again full of lyrical and beautiful songs, was not only written and arranged highly professionally, but also released by Svetlana on February 14 - Valentine’s Day, as a gift to all lovers. The apogee of hysterical attacks against the artist reached its peak when, less than a year later, another album was released, and again it contained “worker-peasant” songs with simple, but such cool lyrics about love, tenderness, thoughts about the future, and the title again couldn’t be more banal : “Where can I find love?” Harsh criticism only increased her popularity, and her songs brought joy and positivity to numerous fans of all ages.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

She also released individual singles, outside of albums, which also found their audience. It got to the point of ridiculousness, an example of this is the solo album “You Are Not Mine,” written in 2004. Already these days, on one music forum, a fan of Sveta wrote: “Now I adore her, but there was a moment when I simply hated Sveta! I had a neighbor in 2004, this woman’s personal life was not going well. And this is how she starts up in the morning, “You’re not mine,” and howls through the open window, making you feel sick by the evening...”

In 2007, another disc, recorded in collaboration with the Amsterdam group, pleased the audience thirsty for new products with a fresh performance style and original arrangement. And again - Rostov talents, with whom the singer has maintained close relationships all her life, the result is the collection “Sveta and the Amsterdam Group”.

From 2005 to 2009, Svetlana released three discs, and the album “No More” had to be re-released in the year of release due to the unrealistically high demand for it. The collection is unique in that it was intended to be experimental: the girl decided to add more electronics to the music, and this did not spoil her creations, but on the contrary, the fans really liked it. The 2009 disc, “My Heart,” became so popular that the author of the collection was invited to the Golden Gramophone project and was presented with an award for the single of the same name. This disc is also notable for the fact that it was published under the well-known label “The Mystery of Sound - isn’t this a recognition of the undoubted talent of the poet-composer and singer?

What is known from the girl’s biography

Until recently, few people knew about the singer performing under the pseudonym Z ivert. And not at all because the artist took a long time to achieve fame. It’s just that the girl started singing only at the age of 25 and instantly became popular. The singer's real name is Julia Sievert. She used to be a flight attendant and dancer. She first appeared on stage in 2020. In just three years she managed to make a dizzying career and get to the top of the musical Olympus.

Parents and where they come from

Zivert was born in 1990 in Moscow. In addition to Yulia, the parents raised another daughter, Diana. For some time the family lived in the capital, and then the father and mother decided to move to Odessa. Yulia and her family lived in a beautiful city on the Black Sea coast for only a few years.

At birth, the future singer received her father’s surname - Sytnik. At first the parents lived together, everything was fine, and then the father left the family. Julia and Diana were left alone with their mother. At first it was difficult for the girls without their father, but then they learned to cope with all the problems on their own. Having become a singer, Julia changed her last name and took her mother’s - Sievert. Many people think that the girl performs under a pseudonym. In fact, Zivert is just her mother's last name in English.

Childhood and youth

As a child, Julia was a very active and artistic child. The girl went to school, and after school she studied in dance clubs. At first she studied ballet, then switched to ballroom and modern dancing. As a schoolgirl, she often performed on stage, albeit with dance numbers. Although Julia also loved to sing. The girl sang mainly at home, organizing impromptu concerts for her family.

Grandmother doted on her. She sewed beautiful dresses for her beloved granddaughter for various school creative events. In her youth, the girl loved to hang out with friends in clubs. Julia danced beautifully, dressed stylishly and felt at parties like a fish in water.

Where did you get your education?

After graduating from school, Yulia tried twice to enter the theater institute, but nothing worked out. On the advice of her grandmother, the girl applied to the university to become a tourism manager. As a student I wanted to study at a paid British design school. Then I entered this educational institution. But Julia never managed to become a designer. Studying at a British school was too expensive. The girl dropped out of university and went to work.

What did the singer do before she became interested in music?

Previously, Julia Siewert did not even think that she would become a popular singer who would be shown on television. The girl worked as an assistant, dancer, florist, and manager. She spent her tiny salary mainly on clothes. One day she saw an advertisement for flight attendant courses. Julia was a short, thin and beautiful girl, and according to her appearance, she was suitable for such work. She signed up for courses, completed training, an internship and soon became a flight attendant.

At first, the girl really liked the work. After all, Yulia got on international flights and flew to different countries. From time to time, the girl improved her qualifications and took special courses. Yulia often changed her place of work, moving from one airline to another, where the conditions are better and they pay more.

The girl devoted 4 years of her life to the profession of a flight attendant. At some point in time I realized that I could no longer live like this. She was tired of constantly wearing a uniform, combing her hair smoothly, and serving drinks to passengers. Julia wanted freedom, bright clothes, tousled hair. The girl quit her job and took up creativity.

Career path in creativity

One fine day, Yulia quit her job at the airline to do what she was passionate about. The girl decided to conquer the Russian song Olympus. Moreover, without having connections in show business, work experience, or musical education. However, the girl assessed her chances of success well. Everything was fine with her vocal abilities, Yulia knew how to dance, she was, as in her youth, beautiful, young and fresh.

The girl found a team of like-minded people, musicians, vocal teachers, began rehearsing, and in 2020 even performed at a music competition and received the first award. The aspiring singer studied at the Vocal Mix vocal studio. The girl also had her own songs. Thanks to the support of friends, she began recording singles and posting them on various online music platforms.

The first songs that brought fame to the artist were “Chuck” and “Anesthesia.” They appeared in 2020, and in 2020 the girl made videos on them. In two years, the video work “Chuck” was viewed by 2.2 million people on YouTube. The “Anesthesia” video received 3.3 million views over exactly the same period of time.

Yulia Sytnik began performing under her mother’s German surname – Sievert. In October 2020, she opened her own channel on YouTube called “Zivert”. Over the 3.5 years of its existence, Yulia’s video was viewed 310 million times. Currently (February 2020) 471 thousand people have subscribed to the Sievert channel.

In 2020, the artist began collaborating with First Music Publishing House. The girl began recording professional tracks, filming videos, performing on stage and touring with a concert program throughout Russia, as well as participating in television shows. In December 2020, in Andrei Malakhov’s program called “Live,” Sievert performed the composition “Wind of Change.” She dedicated this work to Dr. Glinka, who died in a terrible plane crash.

In 2020, the following new clips appeared: “Green Waves” (67 million views on YouTube in one year), “I still want” (84 million in a year). In December of the same year, the artist posted the track “Everything is Possible” on YouTube. In 2019, the following new singles appeared in Sievert’s repertoire: “Ball”, “Life”, “Sails”, “Credo”, “Beverly Hills”, “Crazy”. In the same year, Yulia recorded her EP album called “Shine,” which included four of her hits (“I Still Want,” “Green Waves,” “Shine,” “Ocean”).

In the fall of 2020, Siewert released her first full-length collection of songs called “Vinyl #1.” He recorded on the First Music Publishing House label. The new album includes nine well-known songs by Yulia: “Ambiguous”, “Painless”, “Tramp-Rain” and others. In 2019, the artist shot several videos: “Life” (55 million views on YouTube in 11 months), “Beverly Hills” (19 million in three months), “Sails” (16 million in 7 months). In October last year, Sievert's first solo concert took place at the GlavClub Green Concert in the capital.

Throughout 2020, the singer performed on different stages in Russia, and toured in the Baltics, Turkey, Moldova, England, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. Recorded tracks and filmed videos. She worked with the expensive music video director Alan Badoev. Her songs were heard on radio (“Avtoradio”, “Strana FM”). Yulia sang in the Moscow metro, in Luzhniki, at the prestigious concert “Europa Plus LIVE 2019”, as well as at the “New Wave” festival in hospitable Sochi, together with Philip Kirkorov himself.

What awards and other achievements were received?

The work of the singer Zivert received various awards every year. In 2020, Julia received awards from Muz TV and RU.TV. In December 2020, Sievert received three statuettes from the Russian National Music Award “Victoria”. The singer won in the categories “Best Pop Performer”, “Discovery of the Year”, “Song of the Year”.

In February 2020, she received three awards from the New Radio AWARDS in the categories “Artist of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Breakthrough of the Year”.

The creative activity of singer Sveta now

The album “My Heart” for 2009 is currently the singer’s last released disc, but this does not mean that she stopped creating songs. Sveta switched to creating solo albums and filming videos. She skillfully combines genres and continues to collaborate with famous DJs and popular groups. Alexander Yakovlev, DJ Alex Menco, DJ Dream Team, Jump - this is an incomplete list of names with whom she recorded singles and videos.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

Why hasn't she been seen on TV for a long time, you ask? Sveta herself gave the answer in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda: “There is a list of so-called “rated” artists who are called everywhere. They are known for their scandals and conflicts, and this, along with their undoubted (I will not deny) popularity, further inflames the attention of the public. It’s difficult for me to get there, because there’s nothing to take from me in terms of scandal…”

Still, one scandal was widely reported in connection with her name. But it was not the singer who was to blame for the incident, but the company that took on organizing the tour. This happened in 2017, when Sveta’s arrival in Ulyanovsk was planned. The organizers of the show were also announced by the World Stars organization. The head of the latter, Igor Pshenichny, took upon himself the purchase of tickets for Sveta and her team to Ulyanovsk, promised to ensure a partnership between the Barcelona Hotel and the restaurant of the same name, and it was also his responsibility to pay for the rent of the premises for the concert. Mr. Pshenichny did none of the above, simply absconding with the money. The singer's managers made titanic efforts to ensure that the fans' expectations were not in vain. The concert, scheduled for November 16, was postponed to the 22nd, but still took place.

Also in 2017, Sveta’s popularity, which had not faded away, soared to unprecedented heights. Music industry “guru” Timati suggested she re-record her hit “Road to the Airport”, adding rap to the dance style. By the way, Sveta has already tried to sing with rappers, it was the group “MILLI”, and the singer’s fans liked the bold experiment. The clip “Road to the Airport”, designated on the Internet as “Sveta feat. Timati” received more than seven million views in a few days.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

Having traveled to almost all the countries of Eastern Europe, Sveta will again tour Russia and the countries of the former CIS in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, she visited Togliatti, Kazan, Ufa, Tyumen - the list of cities includes settlements at different ends of the continent, she barely has time to transfer from plane to plane to be on time! Reviews of her performances are invariably positive, full of joy and delight:

  • “That’s what your hits do to us – they’re in our heads forever!” (Ufa);
  • “Thank you, Sveta! Looking forward to seeing you when you come again?” (Tyumen);
  • “Warm reception, great crowd! Wonderful organization of concerts, your Sveta” (Arkhangelsk);
  • “The performance was great! Sveta, you are beautiful as always!” (Disco Muz TV “Golden Hits”, Moscow).

After a short spring break (stars need rest too!) Svetlana resumes touring, and the density of her schedule is amazing. From May 18 to 23, her concerts will be held in Balashikha and Moscow, then she goes to Sochi and Yalta, where she will perform all summer. In the fall, Sveta will be heard in Kostroma, Kaliningrad, Naberezhnye Chelny, St. Petersburg and again in Moscow. The dates of her show for November have already been announced - they will be held in Ryazan, Yekaterinburg and her beloved Tyumen.

About personal life

It is not clear where the rumors “grow” from that the singer Sveta has not lived in Russia for a long time: even at one time they persistently said that she married an oligarch and lives in Paris. She visited France many times, was in Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, but she still lives in our country.

The affairs of the singer’s heart are not rich in scandals and divorces, although she has been officially married more than once. Her first family fell apart quickly; their son Nikita was born in the marriage in 2001. The young man is far from the music world - he is studying in Geneva to become a bank manager. Mom is not worried about this: “I don’t insist that my children necessarily go into the music field; The main joy is that they are talented, and it doesn’t matter where.”

In 2008, the yellow press tried to inflate the hype around the singer’s name: she was credited with a whirlwind romance with Aidamir Mugu, the author and performer of the hit “Black Eyes.” The young talent, a handsome oriental youth, was barely eighteen at that time, and the press was full of rumors about his close relationship with Sveta. The reason for this was the photo that Sveta took with a young man after a concert in Rostov. Then in the program “Hello, Andrey!” Svetlana and Aidamir laughed together at this gossip and confirmed the existence of an affair: “Yes, we had an affair, but only a spiritual one!”

The second time, the artist more carefully chose a candidate for her hand and heart, but she did not escape the fate of falling in love and being loved - she married Mikhail Teplitsky, known as DJ Jump. The couple in love got married in Amsterdam, and immediately after the wedding they flew to Paris. On the singer’s Instagram you can see a photo of her and her husband in a chic wedding dress against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. “All my life I dreamed of getting married in Paris! My husband wanted to sign in Amsterdam, but we immediately jumped on a plane without changing clothes and flew to France, so we can say that my dream has come true!” – Sveta later wrote.

https://www.instagram.com/svetapevitsa_official/

They had a son, Yaroslav, and a daughter, Diana. The daughter of Sveta and Mikhail will probably follow in the footsteps of her mother and father: she is a very musical girl, dances in the Reflection ensemble. The girl's passion is Barbie dolls and houses, furniture, castles, and her mother brings Diana a new gift from every tour - a fashionable doll or an even more luxurious castle. Yaroslav, according to Sveta, is still too young to decide on his talents: “He sings a little, dances a little, is a fanatic of cars - he has collected a whole box of models.”

family…

In addition to music, Svetlana is engaged in another type of business - restaurant business. She and her husband Mikhail Teplitsky are co-owners of three Rostov restaurants: “Kinza” (Georgian main dishes), “Happiness is”, “Publika”. When the singer is asked why she needs the restaurant business, she says: “God forbid, I lose my voice, I’ll just stop performing, but the restaurant business is a good stable income.” The couple also recently opened the Formaggio Familia cheese factory, where Italian varieties of cheese are produced.

Singer of Light: interesting facts

  1. In July 2014, she miraculously survived: a couple of kilometers short of the embankment in Nice, Sveta’s family escaped a terrorist attack. “Then we drove past and saw pools of blood, the bodies of the dead covered with sheets... It was creepy that a phone call saved us from this horror: I stopped the car to talk on the phone,” Sveta later said.
  2. She says with a laugh that among her songs there are some that she doesn’t like: “What should I do today?” or “Your Eyes” are asked to be performed so often that I quietly begin to hate them. But I sing – how can I not sing if the audience likes them?” She names “Depression” and “Body Centimeter” among her favorite songs.
