The song “Your Eyes” was broadcast continuously on all radio stations, the single “What should I do?” became a popular hit. The fact that Svetlana wrote it under the impression of her “affairs of the heart” especially “warmed up” the attention of fans to this song. In an interview, she said that after a difficult conversation with a young man on the street of Rostov, she quarreled with him, stopped a taxi, and in the car a melody and words were born by themselves.

In 2001, the city witnessed an unprecedented event: the central Sports Palace, where the singer Sveta’s concert took place, could not accommodate everyone who wanted to listen to the artist! In July 2014, she miraculously survived: a couple of kilometers short of the embankment in Nice, Sveta’s family escaped a terrorist attack. “Then we drove past and saw pools of blood, the bodies of the dead covered with sheets... It was creepy that a phone call saved us from this horror: I stopped the car to talk on the phone,” Sveta later said.
She says with a laugh that among her songs there are some that she doesn’t like: “What should I do today?” or “Your Eyes” are asked to be performed so often that I quietly begin to hate them. But I sing – how can I not sing if the audience likes them?” She names “Depression” and “Body Centimeter” among her favorite songs.
The singer knows how to cook herself and carefully monitors the quality of the dishes in her restaurants. Her favorite dish and signature dish in her restaurants is Rostov fish soup. And at home, she offers guests pies, clever salads, and seafood prepared according to her own recipes.
