Despite his achievements in cinema, nowadays Jared Leto primarily positions himself as a musician. He is the lead singer of the alternative band 30 Seconds to Mars, founded by him and his brother Shannon in 1998. There are currently 3 members in the group. In addition to Jared, the author of music and lyrics, vocalist and guitarist, drummer Shannon, the group includes Croatian guitarist and violinist Tomo Milisevic, as well as bassist Stephen Aiello, who has the status of a live musician.
The band's first album was recorded in 2002. The album took the name of the group itself. Release of the second album, A Beautiful Lie

Childhood and youth[edit | edit code]
Born March 9, 1970 in Bossier City near downtown, Louisiana. Together with his brother, Jared Leto, he grew up in a creative family surrounded by musical instruments. From early childhood, he began, as he admits, to “knock” on pots, and this grew into a passion for drums. Shannon taught himself to play the drums when he was only 8 years old. As a child, he listened to records through headphones and played along on the drums for several years, trying to develop his own style of playing. His family often moved from city to city, most often in small towns. After moving to New York, where his family lived near the Metropolitan Opera House, he developed a love of classical music. But the first album he bought was “Destroyer” by Kiss. According to Shannon, his playing style is influenced by drummers such as John Bonham, Stewart Copeland, Keith Moon, Nick Mason and Lars Ulrich.

Before Thirty Seconds to Mars became popular, Shannon worked in a jazz workshop. After playing with them for one season, he went to the next audition. When Shannon formed Thirty Seconds to Mars with his younger brother Jared in 1998, he practiced tirelessly, six to seven hours a day. In an interview with Modern Drummer magazine in February 2006, he said, "Rehearsing has greatly improved my stamina and made my playing more precise." Shannon also noted that he prefers instrumental performance, and the group conducts experiments with electronics on its own. Bob Ezrin, who helped produce 30 Seconds to Mars' first album, once remarked: "Shannon is the most creative drummer I've ever worked with. He is not satisfied with simply adding rhythm; his drum fills are a full-fledged part of the overall harmony in the recording. He is also a great performer live and a joy to watch. He plays with such energy that it is simply hypnotizing." With his playing, Shannon inspires many music fans who, listening to the music of Thirty Seconds to Mars and analyzing it, are filled with new ideas and the desire to bang. After the concerts, everyone looks forward to meeting him to receive valuable advice from their idol.

Before the Oscars in 2015, I was given several outfit options, one of which was Gucci.
