Yuri Galtsev is a Russian pop and clownery artist, parodist, theater and film actor. His bright comedic talent was repeatedly noted by the masters of the genre. At one time, Yuri Nikolaevich became the only artist to receive the Arkady Raikin Cup from the hands of Mikhail Zhvanetsky himself at the “MORE SMEHA” festival in the capital of Latvia.

Childhood and youth
Yuri Nikolaevich Galtsev was born on April 12, 1961 in the city of Kurgan. The birth of the future artist coincided with a significant event - the first flight into space by Yuri Gagarin, in whose honor Galtsev received his name. As a child, Yuri was a calm and exemplary child.

After school, the future artist entered the Mechanical Engineering Institute in his native Kurgan. Personal life
Charisma and charm allowed Yuri to be popular with the opposite sex from adolescence. It is not surprising that the artist first got married in his early youth, at the age of 19, but after the birth of his son Mikhail, the couple divorced and Yuri left the family. The reasons for this decision are not advertised and are kept secret. The child remained with his mother.

Later, Mikhail Galtsev encountered drug addiction, which he managed to overcome. Now he works in a rehabilitation center, raising two children - a son, who was named after his grandfather, and a daughter. Yuri Nikolaevich supports Mikhail in his work, so he often gives concerts for patients of the Kurgan health care facility.

However, Galtsev Jr. in no way connected his future with music, or with the stage, and especially with cinema. He dreamed of becoming an astronaut like Gagarin. Therefore, after school I decided to enter the Tambov Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots, but did not pass due to health reasons. Later he applied to the Kurgan Higher Military-Political Aviation School and the Chelyabinsk Higher Tank School, and everywhere failure followed our hero.

And then, upon conscription, I had to go serve in the Army. It was there that all his talents came in handy. However, upon returning from service, Yuri Galtsev, at the insistence of his parents, went to study at the Kurgan Mechanical Engineering Institute with a degree in Automotive Engineering.
