On September 20, singer Katya Lel celebrated her 40th birthday. For her big day, Katya decided to give herself and her fans a gift - she shot a stunning video with the loud title “Let Them Talk.” The main role in the video was played by the famous hockey player and longtime friend of the singer, 28-year-old Alexander Ovechkin.

Throughout the entire clip, there are only two people in the frame: a man and a woman. They are in love. Filming lasted non-stop for 12 hours. They couldn’t stretch the process out for several days, since Alexander Ovechkin had to fly to the States, where he plays for an NHL club.

“This is my first real acting experience,” the hockey player shared. – In a movie it would be more difficult for me to get into character. Here my task was simple - to pretend to be a serious man. In life I am completely different. Having learned that Katya was filming a video for a new song, I didn’t think for a minute whether to take part or not. Katyusha and I have been friends for six years. She is a talented, bright person and a great friend. So playing deeper feelings wasn't that difficult. I think that any person who knows Katyusha, if not in love with her, then certainly feels tenderness.

– Just a month and a half ago, he jokingly said: “When will I star in your video? Therefore, what is earned here is only enough for popular artists to further promote a new video, a new song, a new album. The money received for tours goes to so-called household needs: my team also wants to eat (I pay them a stable salary), they need costumes, and we have to invest a lot of money in creating and maintaining an image. I am a public, successful person, so, fortunately, over the last five years I have received a lot of offers from the best beauty salons to use their services for free. But in general, money, of course, is not enough.

— Nowadays it’s quite difficult to become a kept woman. If a young girl, even with a beautiful appearance, thinks that a cool guy with money will happily marry her, just like that, for no reason, she is deeply mistaken. Nowadays, wealthy men are looking, first of all, for a worthy match, and attractive appearance alone is not enough. Education is necessary - a smart man looks first of all at the mind, first you need to achieve something in life, only after that he will respect you and, perhaps, support you.

- No, they are not afraid, they respect me. I’m probably a flirty girl, but in communication I immediately put everything in its place. If I don’t like a person, to avoid bad consequences, I don’t give him false hope. Besides, not everyone’s psyche is in order. Who knows what to expect from others?

- Family is a great thing. I have loved children since childhood. From a very early age I nursed babies, did everything except breastfeed. I myself am amazed at how strong the craving for motherhood is in me and how much it progresses over the years! I dream of having a child and raising him with a worthy person. Although in our time it is not at all shameful to raise a child alone and there are all conditions for this, but, on the other hand, why should a woman raise a child alone if he has a father?
