Lena Tretyakova is one of the members of the girl group “Ranetki”. 10 years ago the group was at the peak of popularity and fame. Today, interest in their work has subsided, but Ranetki give concerts and remind of themselves with new songs. The popularity of these bright girls doubled after the release of the youth series “Ranetki”, in which the singers also showed themselves as talented actresses.
Elena Tretyakova was born in December 1988 in the Polish town of Legnica. The girl was born in the military hospital of the Borne-Sulimovo garrison, where her father was serving at that time. Lena became the youngest child in a family where a son was already growing up. Mom worked as a kindergarten teacher, but due to frequent moves, her main task was to cope with everyday difficulties and provide home comfort.

When Lena Tretyakova was 3 years old, the family moved to Siberia. We settled in the town of Skovorodino, Amur Region. Then there was a move to Shikotan. But in 1992, the Tretyakovs finally settled in the capital.
Lena's best friend was her brother, who had a significant influence on the character and hobbies of her younger sister. The girl preferred cars to dolls and enjoyed playing football. Mom, wanting to “reorient” her daughter in the right direction, took her to a choreography school. But soon my mother’s idea failed. Lena Tretyakova gave up dancing, but not football. The parents, afraid that another “girl’s” activity would end in something worse, left Elena alone. And Tretyakova focused on what she liked most - football. She was placed as the right midfielder of the Chertanovo women's team, which managed to win the Russian Championship.
According to some reports, Lena Tretyakova still had to leave the sport due to illness: she was diagnosed with vegetative-vascular dystonia. This turned out to be the reason for finding a new favorite activity. And again the brother had a decisive influence on his sister. He taught Lena the first chords of Viktor Tsoi’s song “A Star Called the Sun.” Thus began the musical biography of Lena Tretyakova. The girl quickly learned to play the guitar on her own. Following the usual one, she also mastered the bass guitar.
Childhood and youth
When Lenochka turned 5 years old, the family returned to Moscow. My father continued to serve in one of the capital's garrisons.
Our heroine grew up as an active and inquisitive child. The girl disappeared on the street for days on end. She liked outdoor games: hopscotch, dodgeball, Cossack robbers, and so on. Lena had practically no friends. And all because she preferred boyish company.
The parents sent their daughter to a dance studio, which the girl attended for several years. Then Lena became seriously interested in sports. Our heroine played tennis, basketball, volleyball and even kickboxing. That's not all.
In high school, she joined the Chertanovo women's football team. In this area, Tretyakova has achieved considerable results. Her team became winners several times. And Elena herself received the title “Champion of Russia”. As for kickboxing, the girl did it unprofessionally. The knowledge and skills she gained came in handy on the set of the series “Ranetki.” In one episode, a fragile blonde was able to easily throw a bully over her shoulder.

One day, one of Lena’s friends saw an ad about a casting for a bass guitarist. The girl, not really believing in success, went. The parents believed even less in the success of the venture. But the producer of the Ranetki group liked Lena Tretyakova and was included in the team, which at that time already included Zhenya Ogurtsova, Anna Rudneva, Natasha (Milnichenko) Shchelkova and Lera Kozlova. Later, Nyuta Baidavletova joined them, replacing Kozlova.
So in 2005, the creative biography of Lena Tretyakova began. The girl fit in perfectly with the team. A year later, Ranetki recorded their debut disc of the same name. It included 14 songs and a video for the song “She is Alone.”
The album was a resounding success. Fans sold out the 100,000th edition instantly, which allowed the disc to be awarded platinum status. Three songs on the album – “She’s Alone”, “We Are Ranetki” and “Boy Cadets” – were taken as soundtracks for the popular TV series “Kadetstvo”, which was released in 2007.
Lena Tretyakova toured extensively with the group. She participated in music festivals, among which the most popular are “Emaus-2006” and “Megahouse-2006”.

The girls had already started writing their second album when their producer received a tempting offer to film a new youth series based on the history of the group. The same production group that filmed “Kadetstvo” took on the filming of the series. The participants were left with their names, only their last names were changed.
This new youth project involved not only Lena Tretyakova and her colleagues, but also the actors of the series “Kadetstvo”. Lena turned into Elena Kulemina. She was left with her youthful passion for sports. True, football was replaced by basketball.
“Ranetki” was released in 2008 and was accompanied by resounding success among both young TV viewers and adult audiences. The series aired until 2010 inclusive and was extended over 5 seasons.
In 2009, Lena Tretyakova and the group presented fans with a second album, which was called “Our Time Has Come.” It included the hits “Champions of Love”, “Fly-Fly” and others. Tretyakova not only acted as a soloist of several songs, the girl also showed herself as the author of the lyrics of some compositions. The new disc earned two awards from Muz-TV.
In the same year, Lena Tretyakova and the rest of “Ranetki” took part in the reality show “Ranetki live”. The project turned out to be successful, and the producers extended it for a 2nd season.
The group's success was such that it allowed the girls to take part in the Britney Spears concert. At the same time, Lena Tretyakova decided that it was time to get a higher education. Together with other members of the team, she entered the capital’s University of Culture, choosing the specialty “Producer and Director of Show Programs.”
It was a busy and difficult period in Lena’s life. After all, the girl studied, continued to perform at concerts and tour the country. And she even participated in the recording of the next two albums - “I’ll Never Forget” and “Bring Back Rock and Roll.”
In 2012, the popularity of “Ranetok” decreased, and Lena Tretyakova, like other members of the group, took up a solo career. In search of her own style of performance, the singer switched to rock style and released the album “Point B”. It included 16 songs, including the hit “Unconditional Love” and new compositions “Sorry”, “Seconds” and “Wounded Heart”.
In 2020, Lena Tretyakova’s acoustic album entitled “The Dozen” was released; it’s easy to guess that it included 12 compositions. This record became a kind of addition to the main studio album. It includes unreleased compositions - “Your Words”, “Without Cigarettes” and others.
Tretyakova performed solo until November 2015, at which time she became the soloist of the group “Sea”. Here Lena had vocals and keyboards.
The girl also starred in several films, although not in leading roles. In 2020, she appeared in the film “Alexander Peresvet – Kulikovo Echo.”

Since 2012, almost all members of the group have begun solo activities. Elena Tretyakova was no exception. In December of this year, she performed her first solo concert, “In Other Colors,” at the fashionable metropolitan club “B2.” This solo program was preceded by the release of such compositions as:

Unfortunately, some health problems do not allow Lena Tretyakova to play sports as before. But she does not deny herself the pleasure of playing a game of billiards.
In 2020, Lena experienced a hypertensive crisis. That's when she decided to take up yoga. Daily exercises allowed her to forget about blood pressure forever, plus, in 4 months she lost 10 kg. In 2006, the band's first studio album appeared on store shelves, and in just a few weeks it received platinum status. The popularity of “Ranetka” was also added by the fact that three compositions from the debut album became the soundtracks of the top-rated youth series “Kadetstvo”.
Immediately after the presentation of the first collection, the artists began to actively tour, and after a short time, the production group of the film “Kadetstvo” had the idea to launch a new multi-part project that would tell the story of a female rock band. The broadcast of the series “Ranetki” started in 2008, and within a few weeks the tape took the place of the most popular project on Russian television.
The success of the television series was simply deafening, and each participant in “Ranetok” acquired a huge number of fans. Tretyakova was no exception - fans simply bombarded the artist with letters and did not allow her to pass on the street. A total of 5 seasons were filmed, but Lena took part in the filming of only the first four seasons of the film.
