Biography
Since childhood, Lyuba Tikhomirova liked to dance. She first appeared on stage at the age of four as part of the dance group “Young Leningrader”. In parallel with dancing, the girl began to seriously engage in rhythmic gymnastics at the Olympic reserve school. Over time, she was noticed and after the third grade, without exams, she was invited to the Vaganova Ballet School.
During this period, Lyuba had to make the first adult decision in her life. She abandoned both rhythmic gymnastics and the choreographic school and went to the theater studio of the House of Pioneers of St. Petersburg, where she soon made her debut on stage - she played the role of Fruzhi in the play “All Mice Love Cheese.”
Then she attended the film school-studio "Kadr" on the basis of the Lenfilm film studio, and did not give up dancing - she performed in the dance groups "Sunflowers" and "Kalinka" with a wide variety of repertoire.
In 1993, the Experimental Lyceum of Dramatic Art opened in Leningrad. Lyubov Tikhomirova passed a big competition and was accepted there. She was one of thirty applicants from a huge number of applicants.
