Pavel became the first-born in the Lazarev family. Sergei was born only five years later. By this time, the relationship between the parents of the future artist had already deteriorated considerably. The reason turned out to be banal and sad - Pavel became interested in illegal substances. In 2006, he was convicted of drug trafficking and sent to prison for a year. Having been released, Pavel failed to take the right path and soon found himself behind bars again. Returning from prison four years later, Lazarev Sr. nevertheless came to his senses, got a job and tried to improve his relationship with his daughter Alina. But fate had already given up on Pavel.
In 2015, a terrible car accident took his life. At the time of the accident, he was alive; doctors diagnosed only a minor concussion and a broken nose. The victim then refused to go to the hospital for examination. A couple of days later the irreparable happened. The singer's brother suffered a hemorrhage and blood poisoning. He died, which shocked the entire family, including the father, who once left his sons to fend for themselves.

A terrible grief happened in the family of Sergei Lazarev - the singer lost his older brother. 37-year-old Pavel Lazarev died in one of the Moscow hospitals, where he was taken after an accident on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, which he got into a few days ago.

As we found out, the accident occurred last week - the white Ford of Lazarev Sr. flew into the oncoming lane due to a burst tire. Pavel received injuries: a concussion, a bruised shoulder and a broken nose. Despite this, the man refused hospitalization and chose not to go to the hospital, spending several days at home under the care of his family.

However, the severe headaches that tormented Pavel still forced him to turn to doctors. An ambulance called to the house took the star’s brother to the clinic, but already there Lazarev’s condition worsened sharply. The man was diagnosed with extensive internal hemorrhage, as well as incipient blood poisoning. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to save the man, recording cardiac arrest.

Biography of brother Sergei Lazarev
Pavel was born on March 15, 1978 in Moscow. His dad Vyacheslav Yuryevich Lazarev left his wife Valentina Viktorovna Lazareva, Pavel’s mother, when the boy was 10 years old. The popular Russian performer, theater and film actor Sergei Lazarev is Pavel’s younger brother. The difference between Valentina Viktorovna’s sons was 5 years. Mom raised her two sons on her own.

The boys had a difficult relationship with their father. After Vyacheslav Yuryevich abandoned his family, neither Pavel nor Sergei kept in touch with him for many years. Only in 2020, when his older brother passed away, the popular singer decided that it was necessary to restore relations with his dad. It would seem that Pavel’s death should have united his son and father, but in the spring of 2020, Vyacheslav Yuryevich Lazarev also died due to a suddenly opened ulcer.
It is known that in November 2014, Sergei Lazarev’s brother Pavel was released from a maximum security colony, where he had previously been imprisoned for four years for drug possession. After imprisonment, he tried to arrange a normal, healthy life: he found true love, began working for his brother, and began attending church.

Hospital medical staff diagnosed Lazarev Sr. with extensive internal hemorrhage, as well as blood poisoning. The cause of death of the young man was cardiac arrest. Pavel was buried in one of the Moscow cemeteries. The most tragic thing is that his death could have been prevented.
