Eros Ramazzotti was born on October 28, 1963. Having become interested in music early, Eros, at the age of 18, successfully made his debut at a competition for young talents in the Italian town of Castrocaro. “Successful” in his case meant instantly signing a contract and releasing his first single, “Ad Un Amigo.” However, it was truly appreciated three years later - in 1984 at the Sanremo Festival. Then he's for it.
Feeling the favor of fortune, Eros decided not to sway for a long time and the next year he came to the festival with the album “Cuori Agitati”. From this moment on, the brilliant career of the new Italian pop romantic began, written in the melodies of nine albums by Eros Ramazzotti.
He is a slender, handsome man and sings well. All the girls would consider it lucky to end up in his arms. But, as unusual as it may be, with such a romantic image, Ramazzotti’s personal life is far from the catchy tabloid headlines. Eros has already found the one and only one who was given to him by his daughter Aurora. The name was inspired by one of the tracks on the album “Dove c'e musica”.
Ramazzotti's third service, "In Certi Momenti", dating from 1987, was marked by a duet with Patsy Kensit (and this is already recognition of a professional) and a nine-month international tour, which earned the close sympathy of the international musical community. At 24 years old it’s time to rethink the accumulated experience. The transitional age of Eros Ramazzotti dragged on for two years. From the accumulated material, in 1990, entering a new decade, Eros compiled “In Ogni Senso”.
The fruits of two years of reflection were not in vain: it was with this work that he made his debut on the American music scene. And not just anywhere, but in the high-rise heart of America, New York, within the walls of the famous Radio City Music Hall. Based on this concert, a home-video “Eros In giro per il Mondo” was released.
1991 was marked by the release of the first “live album” in the work of Eros, or simply put, “live album” with the unassuming but understandable title “Eros In Concert”, recorded mostly in Barcelona. The next creative brainchild was the album “Tutte Storie” in 1993 - perhaps his most complex and most successful service. The album, recorded with the participation of famous musicians and representing an example of commercial pop rock, of course, reached the top of the European charts.
It was precisely this period of Eros Ramazzotti’s creative activity that, apparently, the song “Cose della Vita”, most famous to domestic music lovers, belongs to. “Tutte Storie” was especially popular in South America. Ramazzotti did not try in vain when he translated his arbitrary album into Spanish. Europe also appreciated the work of Eros. Direct confirmation of this is the honorable offer to perform a solo concert at the European MTV Awards in Berlin in 1993.
In 1995 he created his own management company, Radiorama. The opening of my own business coincided successfully with the signing of a contract for the release of five albums with the recording monster BMG International. And here - world recognition, merging with the mainstream - Eros performs in a series of concerts in the same team as Rod Stewart, Elton John and Joe Cocker. Collaboration with the latter continued on the latest album of the master of world pop rock, “Across From Midnight”.
With his eighth album, “Dove c'e musica,” Eros debuted as an author, composer and producer all rolled into one. The result is the title of “best CD of the year.” Ramazzotti fell just short of the honorary title of “best performer of the year”, losing the position to George Michael and Bryan Adams. But the album set a new Italian sales record, having sold 1 million copies in five months and a single day in Italy alone. Sales worldwide amounted to 6 million copies, which gives Ramazzotti every right to consider himself the most popular Italian artist.
He celebrated his 34th birthday with the release of the album “Eros” - a kind of culmination of 15 years of creativity. The album's 16 songs included remixed and remastered versions of the most percussive compositions of the musician's entire career, including the famous "Cose della vita" duet with Tdruga Turner and "Musica e" with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, as well as 2 new songs.

Eros Ramazzotti
Eros Luciano Walter Ramazzotti Molina, best known as simply Eros Ramazzotti, was born on October 28, 1963 in the Cinecitta quarter, Rome. As a child, he worked occasionally on film sets and dreamed of a dazzling career as a singer, encouraged by his father Rodolfo, who painted houses but also recorded several songs. After graduating from high school, Ramazzotti wanted to enter the music conservatory, but according to the results of the entrance exam, it turned out that he was “not suitable.”
He began studying accounting, but his academic career quickly ended: he could only think about music, and during his second year he was expelled from school. In 1981 he participated in the New Voices competition at Castrocaro, reaching the final with the song "Rock 80", which he wrote himself. This allowed him to sign his first contract with the young DDD label. Eros moved to Milan and lived in the head office of the record company in Milan, while his brother Marco and mother Rafaella lived in a house in the center.
In 1982, he released his first single, entitled "Ad un amico", but Ramazzotti was still a novice musician, so he was pushed aside by the more experienced performer Renato Brioschi. Success came unexpectedly just a year later: Eros won the Young Talents Festival in 1984 in Sanremo with the song “Terra promessa”, written together with Renato Brioschi and Alberto Salerno (who contributed to the writing of the lyrics). "Terra promessa" was released throughout Europe because Eros' record company considered him an international artist - from the very first album. In fact, all of his albums were also translated into Spanish.
In 1985, Eros again took part in the Sanremo Festival and took sixth place with the song "Una storia importante" from his debut album "Cuori agitati". The single "Una storia importante" became a European hit, especially in France, where it sold a million copies. 1986: Ramazzotti releases his second album, entitled "Nuovi eroi". An even more important event happened: he won the Sanremo festival (taking part in it for the third time in a row) with the song “Adesso tu”. This was his third album in three years: in 1987 he released the CD “In certi momenti”, where he sang a duet with Patsy Kensit in the song “La luce buona delle stelle”. Eros went on a nine-month tour and performed in front of over a million spectators. The disc "In certi momenti" achieved outstanding sales results of more than 3 million copies worldwide.
His fan base grew even more with the release of his next mini-album, Musica e (1988), famous for its title track: a lyrical song masterfully performed by Ramazzotti, demonstrating that he was now a fully mature artist. Eros Ramazzotti was recognized as an international artist in April 1990, when 200 journalists from around the world attended a press conference in Venice to celebrate the presentation of his fifth album, In ogni senso, which was released in 15 countries. American producer Clive Davis, amazed by Eros' talent, advised him to hold a concert at the Radio City Hall in New York.
Ramazzotti became the first Italian artist to perform on this prestigious stage, and all tickets for the concert were sold out. This was followed by another long tour, followed by the release of a double album of live performances, Eros In Concert (1991). The presentation of the album took place on December 4 in Barcelona, the concert took place in front of an audience of twenty thousand and was broadcast throughout the world, with the Italian and Spanish governments becoming sponsors. The years 1993-94 turned out to be very successful professionally: the album “Tutte storie” (1993) sold 6 million copies and occupied top positions in the charts throughout Europe.
The European tour "Tutte storie" became one of the most important events of the season. After the show in Europe, Eros toured 15 Latin American countries with concerts. Upon his return to Italy, he had the idea of creating a trio with Pino Daniele and Jovanotti: the result was the live performance of the year in Italy. In November, he performed at the MTV Awards in Berlin with the song "Cose della vita". The golden year of Eros Ramazzotti - 1994 - ended with an international contract with the BMG International label.
In the summer of 1995 he participated in the European Summer Festival along with Rod Stewart, Elton John and Joe Cocker. The following year - on May 13, 1996 - he released the disc "Dove c'e musica", which he produced entirely on his own. Along with his professional successes, great joy also soon happened in his personal life when, just a few days after the end of the European tour, Michelle Hunziker gave birth to his daughter, Aurora Sophie (she was born in Sorengo, Switzerland, on December 5, 1996).
In October 1997, he released his greatest hits album, Eros, which mixed his immediate early songs with the pop-rock sound of Dove c'e musica. In February 1998, he took part in a stunningly successful world tour, visiting South Africa, the USA and Europe. In May, he took part in the show “Pavarotti and Friends” (“Pavarotti and Friends”).
In October 2000, Eros released Stilelibero (his eighth album of new songs), which confirmed his high position as an international artist. One of the compositions was a touching duet with Cher, “Piu che puoi.” On May 30, 2003, his long-awaited album “9” was released.
During his 24-year career, Eros Ramazzotti sold approximately 25 million records. On October 28, 2005, he released his tenth album "Calma apparente". This album features a wonderful duet with Anastacia. The single was the song “I Belong to You”.
On October 26, 2007, the double CD “e2” was released, which contains 4 new tracks and 14 old compositions. The album featured such world “monsters” as Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean, Steve Vai, Jon Spencer. Eros sang the song “Non Siamo Soli” in a duet with Ricky Martin.

The Two Loves of Eros Ramazzotti

A man with a rare name for Italy, Eros, simply cannot have an ordinary personal life. She is extraordinary, just like his whole life: a lively boy, born in the south of Italy into a rather poor family, only thanks to his own talent and hard work was able to become a famous singer.
Ramazzotti's big love story began in the late 90s. Eros was then already a famous singer, “a romantic with a guitar,” as the press called him. His songs were played on all local television and radio channels. Michelle Hunziker, a charming blonde originally from Switzerland, was in her early twenties when she met Eros. Michelle was a popular TV presenter on Italian TV. From her youth, the girl was in love with a charismatic Italian. One day after Ramazzotti’s concert, Michelle plucked up courage and looked into the singer’s dressing room. Timidly, she presented him with a bouquet of flowers and muttered indistinctly that she really liked his work. It was love at first sight. They started dating, then their daughter Aurora was born. And two years later, Michelle and Eros got married. In Italy, to this day they remember this wedding ceremony as one of the most romantic and colorful.
Hunziker continued to work as a TV presenter and tried her hand as a film actress. She became a muse for her husband. He dedicated songs and entire albums to her.
At first, everything went well in the family, but then disagreements gradually began to grow. Eros, as a person of a traditional upbringing, was often dissatisfied that Michelle did not devote enough time to home and family. He said that his daughter more often sees her mother on the TV screen than reading fairy tales to her. One day, Eros's patience ran out and he filed for divorce. Ramazzotti adored his daughter and tried to sue Michelle for her rights to the child, but to no avail. After the divorce, Eros became depressed. He said: “I keep thinking that true love was my love for Michelle. The problem is that I won’t be able to fall as madly in love as I once did.” He dedicates the song “Feeling Forever” to his ex-wife.
After the divorce, he had short-lived affairs, but none of them were serious. The most beloved woman in his life at that time was his daughter Aurora. He spoiled her, they went on vacation together. At that period of his life, Ramazzotti said: “I’m probably already used to being alone. Love is a special feeling. If she comes, then you perceive any woman, no matter what she is. And you are happy." The singer added that “I wouldn’t want to fall in love again. I’m afraid of having to suffer again, and I don’t want any more pain like I already experienced once.”
But in the fall of 2009, Eros Ramazzotti was nevertheless overtaken by Cupid's arrow, and he fell in love. His chosen one was 21-year-old student Marika Pelegrinelli. They met at the Wind Music Awards music festival. Soon the lovers could be found kissing on the streets of Milan. They walked together, holding hands, and did not hide from camera flashes. And this despite the fact that Eros is famous for its closeness and reluctance to advertise its personal life. The three of them, together with their daughter, celebrate Aurora’s birthday in a restaurant. And this Christmas the lovers, again accompanied by the daughter of Eros and her friend, spent in the Maldives. Eros admits: “I fell in love and lost my head. I've never been so in love." The singer has already met the bride's family. Marika was able to win not only the heart of Ramazzotti himself, but also the soul of his daughter. The girls became friends. And this is not surprising, because their age difference is only 8 years. Marika also says that she has “never been so happy before.” And the anthem of their love was the song of the famous Italian singer Lucio Battisti “I feel good with you,” which Eros dedicated to his bride. Is your wedding around the corner? Let's hope that this time the erotic Eros has truly found his happiness.
