A Serb by nationality, he was born in Belgrade into an intelligent family. His parents instilled in the boy a love of literature and the arts, but they themselves were not close to theater or cinema. The passion for acting appeared in Milos almost by accident.
After school, the young man went to take exams at the Belgrade University of Arts, in the acting department. The university taught skills according to the famous “Russian” system, which the young man liked most of all.

Despite the fact that teachers allow students to act only after the second year of study, the desperate Milos here and there snatched short roles for himself. By my third year I had visited the film sets of several local TV series and films.
However, when the legend of Serbian cinema, director Dragan Bjelogrlic, called the promising young man to play the main role, he honestly said that he strongly doubted himself.
He was supposed to play in “Montevideo: Divine Vision” - a film about football, where Milos, too tall for a football player (188 cm), too young and inexperienced for the main role, almost refused to act. He hoped that Bjelogrlic would give him a smaller and simpler role, but he insisted: either the main one or nothing. I had to get down to business.
MIFF
That film brought Milos his first crazy success. His name was recognized by the whole of Serbia, and at the same time by Russian film fans - the film won the “Audience Award” at the Moscow International Film Festival. It was even nominated for an Oscar in the category “Best Foreign Language Film.” In a word, Bikovich woke up famous before he even graduated from university.
Then he met Nikita Mikhalkov. Having returned from the MIFF, Milos desperately wanted to film with him somewhere and informed everyone about it. Including the director of Montevideo. He loved to make fun of the young artist. Once he even “awarded” him for best actor. The shocked artist believed it, and Bjelogrlic laughed: it was just a joke.

Milos Bikovich was born in 1988 in Belgrade. As a child, Milos had no plans to become an actor. He had no creative ideas or special talents. After school, Milos finally decides to enroll in a theater university and submits documents to the Institute of Arts in Belgrade, where the most famous and popular actors in Serbia were educated. Studying acting and craftsmanship causes the guy to become more and more dedicated, and after a few years he goes to storm the city’s theaters, asking to be taken into the troupe. But the young actor was not hired to play on stage at that time.
Then Milos easily finds use in cinema. Already in his second year he began acting in TV series. For several years now, the Serbian TV series Stizhu Dolari has been appearing on screens, in which Milos played his first role. Then there were several more series, and Bikovich understands that he needs to change something, otherwise he will get stuck on television serial films, and will continue to play in episodes.
The first serious film with which the actor’s filmography begins is called “Montevideo”. This is a historical film about sports by the cult Serbian director. The film tells about the first World Cup. When Milos came to the casting, he could not even think that this film would make him a popular actor. The director made the guys run around the field and pretend to be actively playing. The “football players” ran around the site, screaming and sweating for an hour, then Bjelogrlic called Miloša over and said that the guy would get the main role. Bikovich simply didn’t believe it at that moment, he even wanted to refuse to participate in the film, he was so afraid that he wouldn’t be able to cope. But the director insisted on his own, and after the release of the film, Milos woke up famous. The historical film turned out to be worthwhile, the film was nominated for an Oscar in the category “Best Foreign Film”, and in Moscow received the Audience Award. So overnight Bikovich became popular not only in his own country, but also in many other countries.

Therefore, when a man called Milos, introduced himself as Stanislav, Mikhalkov’s assistant, and asked in Serbian whether Milos would come to Russia to audition for Nikita Sergeevich’s new film, he did not believe it.
