Having received a certificate, Beburishvili entered the medical faculty of Volgograd Medical University, after graduating from which he planned to engage in surgical practice. But life made its own adjustments - in his second year the young man became interested in playing KVN and became the captain of the Optimus Prime student team. However, Andrei continued to move in this direction and for some time performed his own comedy monologues in Volgograd bars. In one of his interviews, he will say that the victory was upsetting: “I understood that in a week I needed to write a new monologue, instead of going with everyone to celebrate, play tricks, go crazy, indulge in bacchanalia and the apotheosis of moral horror, decompose and have fun. I had a huge job ahead of me,” Beburishvili said.

Comedian career

In 2014, Beburishvili went to Moscow and became a participant in the Comedy Battle project. Before that, he made several attempts to get into the Stand Up show, but could not pass the strict editorial selection. But in “Comedy Battle” he was luckier - the jury reacted favorably to his performances, and the audience was wildly delighted with his unconventional cynical jokes and original presentation. Andrey managed to beat fifty participants and make it to the finals, where in the end he received not the main cash prize, but the opportunity to become a resident of the Comedy Club.

Andrey drew inspiration from watching miniatures by Mikhail Zhvanetsky and Roman Kartsev, as well as concerts of leading Western comedians, realizing that only by developing an individual style would he be able to stay on the humorous stage for a long time. At the same time, Beburishvili performed in clubs and at corporate events, hosted various events and honed his skills at group concerts.

The audience and judges warmly greeted Beburishvili and expectedly predicted him first place, but this time the comedian did not live up to their hopes. Now this is exactly how much the indulgence costs for a company that robbed the population of 24.3 billion rubles in 2020.
