Childhood and student life

Shatskaya Nina Sergeevna was born on March 16, 1940 in the capital of our country - Moscow. Her parents were ordinary people who had nothing to do with theater and cinema.

From the age of 7, our heroine studied vocals. She dreamed of becoming a famous singer in the future. But fate decreed differently. In high school, Nina became seriously interested in acting.

After receiving a school certificate, the young Muscovite went to GITIS. She applied to two faculties - musical comedy and drama. The girl managed to conquer the members of the selection committee with her vocal abilities and sense of rhythm. As a result, Shatskaya chose the Faculty of Musical Comedy. In 1963 she successfully graduated from GITIS.

Theater activities

Where did Nina Shatskaya get a job after receiving her diploma? The actress tried to get into the troupe of the Mossovet Theater, where Valery Zolotukhin served. However, management refused her. Our heroine spent almost a year at home. And yet she managed to perform on the stage of the Mossovet Theater. The actress, who was cast in the lead role in the production of “The Wedding Ring,” did not return from filming. The theater director urgently began to look for a replacement for her. And then he remembered Nina. Shatskaya agreed to help out the theater management. The actress performed the performance brilliantly, and then settled back at home.

In 1964, Nina and Zolotukhin went to see the film at the Taganka Theater. They showed Yuri Lyubimov an excerpt from the operetta. They were both accepted into the main troupe.

Nina Shatskaya, whose biography we are considering, worked at the Taganka Theater until 1993. She was forced to leave due to a conflict with the head of this institution, Yuri Lyubimov. For some time, the GITIS graduate collaborated with the Taganka Actors' Community Theater. But that's not all. Since 2003, she has been an actress in the capital’s “School of Modern Plays” theater.

Nina Shatskaya: films with her participation

Our heroine's film debut took place during her student years. The first film in which the young beauty Nina starred was called “Colleagues” (1962). She successfully reincarnated as a sweet girl named Inna.

In 1964, the second film with Shatskaya’s participation was released - the comedy “Welcome, or No Trespassing”. The image she created (of the pioneer leader) turned out to be bright and realistic. This role brought the young actress her first fame. And director Elem Klimov was pleased with the collaboration with her.

Nina Shatskaya films

In 1968, Nina Shatskaya received her first leading role in the musical comedy “White Piano”. Her character is Alla Sergeevna Arsenyeva, a musicologist by profession. This woman is obsessed with finding unique instruments that represent different eras. Alla Sergeevna’s collection already includes Peter the Great’s balalaika and the drum that Genghis Khan played. Now the object of her search is a white piano that once belonged to the emir of Bukhara.

Listed below are other interesting film works of the actress for 1971-1990:

  • drama “The Premature Man” (1971) - Nina Arkadyevna;
  • fairy tale film “Forest Song. Mavka" (1980) - water Mermaid;
  • melodrama “Time for Thought” (1982) - Elena;
  • detective series “A Visit to the Minotaur” (1987) – drug addiction specialist;
  • social drama “Children of Bitches” (1990) - Elena Konstantinovna Gvozdilova (one of the main characters).

Moving to Moscow

The singer left hospitable St. Petersburg and set off to conquer the capital. In Moscow, she went to work at a variety show on Tverskaya Street. In addition, she decided to improve her qualifications by entering the Gnesin Academy, where Professor Natalya Andrianova became her mentor.

The singer began to perform not only romances, but also jazz compositions. In 2005, Nina gave a concert “Jazz mainstream”, which was recorded on a solo disc.

Singer on stage

The singer’s first disc was released in 2000 and was called “Game of Love.” The remaining discs were dedicated to Russian classics and ancient romances:

  • "Lady Romance";
  • "Song of Happiness";
  • "Emerald";
  • "Witch";
  • "Zephyr" and others.

The singer successfully combines jazz and romances - she is the first who decided to combine these two different directions. Before her, Valentina Ponomareva performed romances and jazz, but did not combine them.

The singer’s manner of performing romances is interesting and unusual. She fascinates with an unexpected stop or a sudden rise in her voice in those places where it seems to her that she needs to emphasize. The singing is breathy, sensual and lively - touches the listeners.

Nina Shatskaya transforms on stage as soon as the first chords of the introduction begin to sound. It is clear that she lives the romance that she performs. She feels every note, passes every phrase through her heart. Her wonderful voice makes listeners tremble and gives goosebumps. Added to this is the sparkle of her beautiful eyes and the smooth gestures of her hands - they are like birds soaring above the stage and slowly falling down. This explains her unprecedented success.

With actress Olga Kabo

Nina dedicated a cycle of songs called “The Witch” to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poetess Anna Akhmatova. She recorded the disc to the accompaniment of the cinematography orchestra (conducted by S. Skripka).

In their fifth year, Nina and Valera officially got married. They got married on February 14, Valentine's Day. True, at that time Soviet citizens did not yet know this holiday.

In 1969, Shatskaya and Zolotukhin became parents for the first time. Their son Denis was born. Unfortunately, the happy family life lasted only a few years. Our heroine is tired of turning a blind eye to her husband’s constant infidelities. In the end it all ended in divorce.

Personal life

The singer does not like to talk about the details of her personal life. It is known that in the 90s Nina Shatskaya developed a relationship with Franco Vitale, a photographer from Italy. However, the romance did not last long. Franco's intentions were serious, but Nina fell in love with someone else.

Later, the bright brunette was credited with having connections with movie and pop stars, but Shatskaya did not comment on the rumors. In an interview, she admitted that, like most women, she dreams of getting married and having children, but she understands that it will be difficult for her husband to be with a self-sufficient person whose life is dedicated to the stage.

Apparently, Pavel Gusev, a billionaire, a member of the Public Chamber under the President of Russia and the owner of Moskovsky Komsomolets, was not afraid to throw in his lot with the artist. The couple got married in 2019, on Nina’s birthday - April 22. The husband is 17 years older and has four children from two previous marriages. The media tycoon's fortune is estimated at 30 billion rubles.

By the way, Shatskaya according to the documents is Ninel. The name was given in honor of Vladimir Lenin, with whom the date of birth coincided. Mom wanted to name the girl Asya, but in the end the family came to a consensus - Nina.

Because of her last name and first name, the singer sometimes gets confused with the first wife of Valery Zolotukhin, who later got married to Leonid Filatov. The famous namesake, Shatskaya said, without understanding the details or believing gossip, once insulted her in an interview, suspecting that “the girl was using someone else’s name.”

“Clinging to” someone else’s fame is not in Nina’s rules. Now, when receiving an invitation to an event, she specifies the middle name of the person they want to see.

Nina has enviable model parameters: height 180 cm, weight 68 kg. She is proud that after 50 years she wears the same dresses as at 25. Filatov and Shatskaya met at a time when the actress was married to Zolotukhin. During their romance, Valery Alekseevich married Lydia Savchenko. However, both of these unions soon fell apart.

In 1985, Shatskaya and Filatov went to the registry office. Their marriage lasted just under 20 years. Only death could separate two loving hearts. In October 2003, Leonid Alekseevich died after a serious illness.
