Yana Guryanova's childhood
Yana was born in Kazan. During her school years, she went to a ballet studio, dreaming of becoming a ballerina. In the girl’s imagination, she was supposed to go to Paris, become famous there and return home as a famous ballerina. When it became clear that she did not have much of a future with ballet, Yana began studying guitar at a music school. She thought that she could very well become a musician, but after school she entered not a music school, but a theater school in her hometown.

She studied at the school for only two years. To get an education, Guryanova went to Moscow, where she continued her acting studies at Oleg Kudryashov’s course at GITIS.
Childhood and youth
At the end of the second autumn month of 1987, October 21, in the capital of Tatarstan, a daughter appeared in the absolutely non-acting Guryanov family, who subsequently easily conquered Russian cinema. Father Anatoly was engaged in business, his wife worked as an assistant manager in a large Kazan company. If you believe publications in the media, the girl lost her parents early. They died when Yana was six years old, and therefore the grandmother was responsible for raising the child.
According to the celebrity, since childhood she was hyperactive, could not sit still and was always on the move, obsessed with another crazy idea. At first, Guryanova dreamed of becoming a figure skater - imitating athletes, she tied toy cars to her feet and rode them around the house.

Then passionately desired to succeed in ballet, for which she even diligently attended a special educational institution. Despite the fact that the relationship with the art of dance did not work out, the teenager did not lose heart and plunged headlong into music, intending to continue his studies at the appropriate school.
“I was going to go to a music school, but at some point I very clearly realized that this was not for me. I’m still a fidget, but I have to sit there and study all these works for a long, long time. At the last moment, she turned around and entered the theater school in Kazan. After studying there for two years, I decided to move on and take over GITIS,” said the “Interns” star.
The university submitted the first time, and the student ended up taking a course with director Oleg Kudryashov, winner of the 2007 Konstantin Stanislavsky Prize.
The first roles of Yana Guryanova
As a student at GITIS, Yana starred in the crowd of the film “Hipsters,” in which Oksana Akinshina and Anton Shagin played the main roles.
After graduating from GITIS, the aspiring actress began actively auditioning for film roles, attending castings several times a week. Of course, at first she was offered only small roles. Her first television series were “Mother-in-Law as a Phenomenon” and “Garages”, where the girl appeared in episodes. A year later, films were released in which Yana received small roles - these are “My Crazy Family”, “Slackers” and “What Else Men Talk About”. We can say that her first notable role was her role in one of the seasons of the television series “Soldiers,” which viewers saw in 2012.

Yana Guryanova in the TV series “Interns”
In 2012, Guryanova starred in the incredibly popular TV series “Interns.”
By that time, Christina Asmus had left him. In the show, Yana got the role of Polina - an extraordinary heroine who is used to saying everything that is on her mind, without thinking about whether her behavior is tactful, who knows how to achieve her goal. The producers selected an actress for the role of Polina for quite a long time. After the auditions, Guryanova received an offer only six months later, which she was extremely happy about. In the story, the formidable Doctor Bykov decided to accept into the team the energetic student Polina, who is not afraid of anyone, not even himself. The unconventional behavior of the heroine, played by Guryanova, became the cause of numerous oddities. Despite the straightforward nature of the heroine of the show, she is a fairly kind person who does everything from the bottom of her heart.
The creators of the series gradually led the viewer to the appearance of Polina. Varya Chernous, played by Christina Asmus, according to the plot, left Dr. Bykov’s department for the surgery department, where her beloved David worked. The vacant place in the internship went to Polina Ulyanova, who was successfully played by Yana Guryanova.
Yana Guryanova in the TV series Interns
Viewers saw the series with the participation of a new heroine in 2013. Polina became a “fresh stream” for the series. She immediately had fans. Many called Polina Lobanov in a skirt - the complete opposite of the timid and absent-minded Varya Chernous.
Guryanova worked well on the set; the new actress was warmly received by the already established cast. Ivan Okhlobystin treated the actress in a fatherly way.
An excerpt characterizing Guryanov, Yana Anatolyevna
Again they were silent. “You come in if you need anything, everyone at headquarters will help...” said Zherkov. Dolokhov grinned. - You better not worry. I won’t ask for anything I need, I’ll take it myself. - Yes, well, I am so... - Well, so am I. - Goodbye. - Be healthy... ... and high and far, To the homeland... Zherkov touched his spurs to the horse, which, excitedly, kicked three times, not knowing which one to start with, managed and galloped, overtaking the company and catching up with the carriage, also to the beat of the song . Returning from the review, Kutuzov, accompanied by the Austrian general, went into his office and, calling the adjutant, ordered to be given some papers related to the state of the arriving troops, and letters received from Archduke Ferdinand, who commanded the advanced army. Prince Andrei Bolkonsky entered the commander-in-chief's office with the required papers. Kutuzov and an Austrian member of the Gofkriegsrat sat in front of the plan laid out on the table. “Ah...” said Kutuzov, looking back at Bolkonsky, as if with this word he was inviting the adjutant to wait, and continued the conversation he had begun in French. “I’m just saying one thing, General,” Kutuzov said with a pleasant grace of expression and intonation, which forced you to listen carefully to every leisurely spoken word. It was clear that Kutuzov himself enjoyed listening to himself. “I only say one thing, General, that if the matter depended on my personal desire, then the will of His Majesty Emperor Franz would have been fulfilled long ago.” I would have joined the Archduke long ago. And believe my honor that for me personally to transfer the highest command of the army to a more knowledgeable and skilled general than me, of which Austria is so abundant, and to relinquish all this heavy responsibility would be a joy for me personally. But circumstances are stronger than us, General. And Kutuzov smiled with an expression as if he was saying: “You have every right not to believe me, and even I don’t care at all whether you believe me or not, but you have no reason to tell me this. And that’s the whole point.” The Austrian general looked dissatisfied, but could not help but respond to Kutuzov in the same tone. “On the contrary,” he said in a grumpy and angry tone, so contrary to the flattering meaning of the words he spoke, “on the contrary, your Excellency’s participation in the common cause is highly valued by His Majesty; but we believe that the present slowdown deprives the glorious Russian troops and their commanders-in-chief of the laurels that they are accustomed to reaping in battles,” he finished his apparently prepared phrase. Kutuzov bowed without changing his smile. “And I am so convinced and, based on the last letter with which His Highness Archduke Ferdinand honored me, I assume that the Austrian troops, under the command of such a skillful assistant as General Mack, have now won a decisive victory and no longer need our help,” said Kutuzov. The general frowned. Although there was no positive news about the defeat of the Austrians, there were too many circumstances that confirmed the general unfavorable rumors; and therefore Kutuzov’s assumption about the victory of the Austrians was very similar to ridicule. But Kutuzov smiled meekly, still with the same expression, which said that he had the right to assume this. Indeed, the last letter he received from Mac's army informed him of the victory and the most advantageous strategic position of the army.
Theatrical roles of Yana Guryanova
Guryanova is involved in several theatrical productions.
In the Praktika theater, the aspiring actress, together with several of her classmates, took part in the production of “Grandmothers” in 2011. Yana played one of six old ladies. Movies
2010 turned out to be a landmark year for Yana. Firstly, she graduated from GITIS, receiving the coveted diploma of higher education, and secondly, she made her cinematic debut. The talented actress was invited to the 9th episode “Mother-in-Law as a Phenomenon” of the comedy “Garages” and to the episode “What Men Talk About” of “Quartet I”. By the way, she also participated in the continuation of the film, reincarnating as a saleswoman.
Before getting the main role in “Interns”, the girl managed to appear in “Slackers”, “My Crazy Family”, “Setup” and “Emergencies”.
“I don’t believe the rumors and the one who said that Okhlobystin was quite impulsive during filming. It was great working with Ivan Ivanovich - he is the smartest, most well-mannered person. I can’t say anything about impulsiveness. I love Uncle Vanya with all my heart, he is a wonderful partner and artist,” she shared in an interview.

Yana Guryanova, Mikhail Pshenichny and Sevastyan Bugaev on the set of the series “The Day Ahead”
Continuing the conversation with journalists about one of the successful Russian sitcoms, Guryanova gave a precise definition of her character, calling him Lobanov (the hero of Alexander Ilyin) in a skirt. And she explained that she had nothing in common with the arrogant and boorish Polina Ulyanova, and in reality she was terribly afraid of hospitals and everything connected with them.
Before TV viewers had time to get used to the new intern, he disappeared from the TNT screens. As it turned out, Yana went to the set, carrying a child under her heart for many months, and subsequently, deciding not to be torn between family and work, she left the rating project.
Subsequently, the filmography was replenished with new films - the multi-part “Dad to Grow Up”, “The Force of Circumstances”, “The Other Side of Love”, “How to Get Married. Instructions", biographical drama "Margarita Nazarova", full-length "Dominika", etc.
The artist also succeeded in the theatrical field. She has produced various productions and performances, including the Justo Fast Theater (“The Bald Singer” and “Little Red Riding Hood”) and “Practice.”
Personal life of Yana Guryanova
Many fans of the series “Interns” wondered why such an interesting heroine as Polina Ulyanova left it. It turned out that the actress began filming while pregnant. According to Yana, it was not easy for her. Filming lasted twelve hours, six days a week. The fact that Guryanova is pregnant is not visible in the frame, since she was filmed in close-up all the time. Of course, immediately after the birth of the child, Yana could not continue filming. Her main project in life for some time was her little daughter Sashenka.
Yana Guryanova left the series “Interns” due to pregnancy
Guryanova is married. Her husband's name is Alexander. Before going to the casting for the series “Interns,” Yana consulted with Alexander, because she herself had never seen this project on TV. Her husband knew the events of the popular series, so he advised her not to refuse auditions.
Yana Guryanova is fond of sports. There is always a gym and a swimming pool in her life. She loves to ride a bike. The actress considers playing sports an excellent antidepressant.
In life, Guryanova is not quite the same as her heroine in the show Interns. She is assertive, used to achieving everything, but she is not tactless or arrogant.
Personal life
The woman’s personal life is fine. In 2013, she gave her beloved husband Alexander, who realized himself in the field of finance, a daughter, Sasha. Photos of the girl periodically appear on her mother’s Instagram.
Recalling the beginning of her affair with her future husband, the actress said that one day he gave her a ride to the theater, and she responded by inviting him to a performance. A year later, friendly relations grew into mutual love, which led to a wedding celebration. According to the artist, the man is always on her side and supports her in any endeavor.

Yana Guryanova and her daughter
After giving birth, Yana was bombarded with questions about how she managed to lose weight and get in shape so quickly. She (height 167 cm and weighing about 50-55 kg) did not hide the secret of her slim figure and admitted that she was not lazy and often visited the gym and swimming pool, and also refused the services of a nanny for her only child.
At one time, information appeared in the media that Guryanova agreed to a candid photo shoot in Maxim magazine, but it’s hard to believe. Firstly, because there was no confirmation of this, and secondly, you can’t find publications on her social networks even in a swimsuit.

Hungry for female attention, Kupitman will bet with Bykov that he will seduce nurse Rita (that is, he will repeat the feat of Bykov himself many years ago). Of course, in the process of implementing the plan, the venereologist will be driven to paranoia by Andrei Evgenich’s crazy pranks.
– What kind of relationship did intern Polina have with Kupitman?
– Ivan Natanovich has wonderful relationships with everyone if a person is beneficial to him and, out of stupidity or out of excessive intelligence, is ready to join in his manipulative games. That's the kind of person he is! Not a word, not a look, not a deed in simplicity and for that!
– In one of the episodes, Kupitman tries to seduce nurse Rita. Could they have had a long romance? What kind of woman does Kupitman need?
– This is the most difficult question I’ve ever been asked about my character. I’m afraid that not a single woman can withstand his sophisticated love of freedom, total unprincipledness and deep immorality. Three are known to have tried. I'm afraid Ivan Natanovich will have to die alone. Well, unless old friend Bykov looks at the sunset of the pupils of this master of overly swollen egoism!
– Kupitman is an established image. Are you trying to find some new features in the image of your hero in order to surprise the viewer, or does Kupitman not need to add anything?
“I haven’t done anything for a long time, and I’m not in this image at all.” Kupitman lives his own life, and everyone everywhere already knows that Demchog is not Kupitman, and Kupitman is not Demchog. It feels like on filming days I don’t wake up at all or wake up in parallel universes. And then, over time, accidentally turning on the TV, I watch in amazement at the new exploits of the immoral doctor.
– Does Kupitman need his own interns? Or is it easier for him to work alone?
– You have to love your interns, you have to spend money on them, sacrifice something. And Ivan Natanovich loves only himself. He has no more time for anyone except himself, his beloved.
– Unlike your hero, you do not consider cognac your favorite drink. What do you think?
- Any alcohol does not make an impression on me. Probably because I know more subtle pleasures.
In addition, from the new episodes, viewers will learn:
- who needs to insert a Good Enema to get 7 days off;
- what is better – saving a person’s life or drinking 0.7 vodka in one person;
- what would happen if you doused Jim Morrison with tests;
- why Bykov turned into Hitler;
- and we won’t say the rest - look!
New episodes of “Interns” – from Monday to Thursday at 20:00 on TNT!
