Rosa Amanova: biography, creativity, career, personal life

Childhood

Rosochka always waited for an evening to be organized at school, then she would go on stage and recite poetry. She imagined herself as an actress, especially since in Samara, where she grew up, there was a wonderful drama theater. Reading poetry on stage, dressed in a light dress, she almost did not feel the cold, and in the hall people sat in coats and fur coats. And after school, go to the hospital to help the wounded. When she graduated from school, there was no doubt about the choice of path - she would become an actress. And together with her friend she went to the capital. Moscow attracts everyone. Rosa Makagonova is no exception in this sense.

Youth

At the end of the forties, she came to Moscow to become an actress and entered the Institute of Cinematography on a course taught by Sergei Yutkevich and Mikhail Romm.

The talented young student was noticed and invited to appear in film already in 1950. Rosa Makagonova played the role of a schoolgirl. She did not have a hostel. Rosa was filming a corner. One day, returning home in the evening, she coughed. There was blood on the handkerchief she brought to her lips. The girl became scared. Having consulted doctors, she learned that it was an open form of tuberculosis and she needed serious treatment. There was no end to the despair. For what? But the explanation is simple - a hungry and cold war childhood. The doctors knew that everything was not so hopeless and calmed the girl down. She managed to pull herself together.

Personal life

Rosa is married to a well-known politician in the republic, Kubanychbek Zhumaliev. And although the husband is 17 years older than his famous wife, they have a wonderful, strong family. Rosa gave birth to three children for her husband and considers him not only her beloved person, but also her closest friend and mentor. However, the press is constantly trying to find dirty gossip about this married couple, including reports of a scandalous divorce. Tired of the lies, Rosa and her husband sued the particularly zealous “yellow newspaper” Uchur in 2013, after which the press finally almost left the artist’s family alone.

A decade of success

After graduating from the institute, the young actress did not go unnoticed. The university let her go to filming when she got the role of a student in a film for children. In 1953, Rosa Makagonova appeared on screen in the film “Marina’s Fate”, and a year later - “Certificate of Maturity” and “Dangerous Paths”. The work captivated her more and more. But then there is a meeting with one of the most charming actors and directors of our cinema, Vladimir Basov. They decide to join their lives and become husband and wife. Basov was seriously carried away, but Rosa did not have a strong feeling. She responded to her husband with affection and care, but the marriage lacked children. Rose was afraid that they might get infected from her. In 1954, Rosa Makagonova will play in two films by Basov. And 1955 will be marked by filming in the film Rosa Ivanovna Makagonova, 1957 - “An Extraordinary Summer”. But the marriage with Basov did not last long. They soon separated, maintaining their friendship. At this time, Basov was already beginning a new romance with the bright beauty Natalya Fateeva. It’s better to be alone, actress Roza Makagonova decided. Her personal life will improve over time.

And other directors began to notice Rosa and invite her. In 1956, she auditioned and began filming the film “An Ordinary Man.” There she played the role of Annushka Svekolkina. Almost without a break between filming, she already starred in another film in the role of Tasya. It was already 1957. And in 1958 there was no time to rest again. She participates in the films "A Soldier's Heart" and "Flags on the Towers." From 1959 to 1960, Rosa Ivanovna starred in three films. This is practically exhausting work that takes all your time, all your strength and health.

Endless loneliness

Despite the vicissitudes of her life, aggravated by a terrible illness, and even the good attitude of wonderful people who always admired her, Rosa Makagonova was lonely, her biography and personal life did not turn out the way she dreamed at a young age. She always dreamed of being surrounded by children whom she never had the chance to have, and even the circumstances of her second marriage - everything testifies to her complete loneliness. The break with Basov was not accidental, because he always loved women, and she knew very well about his adventures and courageously endured them.

Still from the film “A Soldier’s Heart”

Even people who considered themselves close to the actress knew little about the second marriage, even though it lasted seven years. Pankratov-Cherny recalls that during the filming, Rosa gave some instructions to the decorator, citing the fact that her husband was an architect, and other contemporaries remember with difficulty that he was some kind of official, and was very fond of money and things. After 7 years, Rosa Makagonova broke up with her second husband, whom she also married, yielding to the pressure and advances of the man in love with her.

She died of a heart attack at the age of 67 because she did not want to go to the hospital and leave her cat, who was the only close creature for her. And her grave was only recently, thanks to a fan, finally found at the Khovanskoye cemetery.

Roza Makagonova in the film “School of Courage”

Natalya Fateeva, who had 3 children, was jealous of her husband’s first wife all her life. She even claimed that Rosa Makagonova, whose creative biography and personal life was more eventful, was to blame for her failures, although there were no children (photos of the actress could be seen everywhere).

Rosa Makagonova, who was compared to a sunbeam and an elegant figurine, met not only well-wishers. Korchagin, Basov’s co-author in films with her participation, resisted her approval as best he could with each new project, and Pankratov-Cherny faced enormous difficulties in approving her for the role of the main character’s mother. And even the episodic role of a singing teacher in “The Adventures of Electronics” was difficult for her to get.

Rosa Makogonova latest film roles

Nina Krachkovskaya, a relative of the famous Natalya Krachkovskaya, was convinced that Rosa’s cinematic career was in decline due to the fact that Fateeva not only stole her husband from her, but also used all her influence to harm her former rival.

Infinitely delicate and intelligent, extremely easy to communicate and unable to intrigue, Rosa Makagonova became a victim of her destroyed first marriage and an incurable illness. Neither the sincere admirers of her talent, nor the few friends who justified their inaction with their own problems and concerns could resist such strong factors.

Fighting the disease

In 1962, with the last of her strength, with full dedication, Roza Makagonova, an actress beloved and expected by everyone, plays one of the main roles in the film directed by Yaropolk Lapshin - “The Sixteenth Spring”.

And then her health completely fails her. Traveling to filming and the lack of conditions affected her health so much that insidious tuberculosis stopped her work for ten years. This means that the actress was on bed rest for a long time - waiting for the doctor to visit her, with the hope that he would say that she was getting better. This hope and eager anticipation of recovery lasts for ten long years. She practically lived in the hospital. What does this mean for the actress? Yes, that they are slowly starting to forget her. What will they offer to play when the tuberculosis cavities close? Age roles. But there is still so much strength and desire to express yourself in your favorite profession. If it weren’t for her friends and Nikolai Kryuchkov, who constantly visit her, she would have completely lost heart. Nikolai Kryuchkov took an active part in the fate of Rose. He brought her honey and folk remedies for consumption. Kryuchkov and her friends support her desire to take part in the dubbing of several cartoons. So Rosa Ivanovna actively fought for life. And then love found her. An official courted her beautifully, and so they got married. But happiness turned out to be fragile. The husband was interested in money, which was completely alien to Rose. After living together for seven years, they finally broke up. Once again Rosa Makagonova alone. Personal life is not going well.

An excerpt characterizing Makagonov, Roza Ivanovna

- Well, honey, she loves you! – the neighbor said, smiling warmly, and, tying the same colored cord around Purga’s neck, she solemnly led her to me. “It was with this same “leash” that we brought her home for the first time. Take it - it's yours. And happiness to both of you... Tears glistened in the eyes of the kind neighbor, apparently even good memories still very much hurt her heart, which had suffered for her lost husband... - I promise you, I will love her very much and look after her well! – I stammered, choking with excitement. – She will be happy... Everyone around smiled contentedly, and this whole scene suddenly reminded me of a similar episode I had already seen somewhere, only there a person was given a medal... I laughed cheerfully and, tightly hugging my amazing “gift”, vowed in my soul not to part never with him. Suddenly it dawned on me: “Oh, wait, where will she live?!.. We don’t have such a wonderful place as you do?” – I asked my neighbor, upset. “Don’t worry, honey, she can live with me, and you will come to clean her, feed her, look after her and ride her - she’s yours.” Imagine that you are “renting” a house from me for her. I won’t need him anymore, because I won’t get any more horses. So use it for your health. And I will be pleased that Purga will continue to live with me. I gratefully hugged my kind neighbor and, holding the colored cord, led (now mine!!!) Purga home. My childish heart rejoiced - it was the most wonderful gift in the world! And it was really worth the wait... Around noon, having recovered a little from such a stunning gift, I began my “spy” forays into the kitchen and dining room. Or rather, I tried... But even with the most persistent attempts, unfortunately, I could not get into it. This year, my grandmother, apparently, firmly decided not to show me her “works” until the time for the real “celebration” came... And I really wanted to at least get a glimpse of what she was doing so diligently for two days there, without taking no one's help and not letting anyone even outside the threshold. But finally, the long-awaited hour arrived - at about five in the evening my first guests began to appear... And I, in the end, got the right to admire my festive table... When the door to the living room was opened, I thought that I was in some kind of fairy tale , the Garden of Eden!.. Grandma smiled cheerfully, and I threw myself on her neck, almost sobbing from the feelings of gratitude and delight that overwhelmed me... The whole room was decorated with winter flowers... Huge cups of bright yellow chrysanthemums created the impression of a lot of sunshine, from which the room it was light and joyful. And the festive table was a real work of grandma’s art!.. It was fragrant with absolutely stunning aromas and shocked with the variety of dishes... There was also a duck covered with a golden crust, with my favorite pear sauce, in which whole halves stewed in cream, smelling of cinnamon, were “drowned” pears... And tantalizing with the most delicate smell of mushroom sauce, a chicken dripping with juice, bursting with porcini mushrooms and nuts filling, and literally melting in your mouth... In the middle of the table, a terrible pike was “impressive” with its size, baked whole with juicy pieces of sweet red pepper in lemon-lingonberry sauce... And from the smell of plump, juicy turkey legs, bursting from the blazing heat, under a crust of cranberry mousse, my poor stomach jumped right up to the ceiling! and home-made pickled cucumbers, “killed” with the smells of the famous Lithuanian “smoked meats”, in no way inferior to the intoxicating smell of smoked salmon, around which juicy salted milk mushrooms, sprinkled with sour cream, rose in cheerful heaps... Golden fried round pies puffed out hot steam, and around them the air hovered a completely unique “cabbage” aroma... All this abundance of my grandmother’s most skillful “works” completely shocked my “hungry” imagination, not to mention the sweets, the pinnacle of which was my favorite melt-in-the-mouth curd pie whipped with cherries!.. I looked in admiration. to my grandmother, thanking her with all my heart for this fabulous, truly royal table!.. And she only smiled in response, pleased with the effect produced, and immediately began with the greatest zeal to treat my guests, who were stunned by such abundance. Afterwards, there were many “big” anniversary birthdays in my life, but not one of them, even those celebrated in the most exquisite foreign restaurants, ever came close to surpassing my amazing tenth birthday, which my extraordinary grandmother made for me then... But “ “surprises” that evening, apparently, were not destined to end... After some half an hour, when the “feast” was already in full swing, the air in the room suddenly began to fluctuate as usual (for me) and... Stella appeared in all her glory! I jumped in surprise, almost knocking over my plate, and quickly began to look around to see if anyone else was seeing her. But the guests, with a healthy appetite, enthusiastically devoured the “fruits” of their grandmother’s culinary art, not paying any attention to the miracle man who suddenly appeared next to them... - Surprise!!! – the little girl clapped her hands cheerfully. – Happy big birthday to you!.. – and thousands of the most bizarre flowers and butterflies fell right from the ceiling in the room, turning it into a fabulous “Aladdin’s cave”... – How did you get here?!!!.. You told you – I can’t come here?!.. – I forgot to even thank the little girl for the beauty she created, I asked in a daze. “I didn’t even know!” exclaimed Stella. “I was just thinking yesterday about those dead people you helped, and asked my grandmother how they could come back.” It turned out that it is possible, you just need to know how to do it! So I came. Aren’t you glad?.. – Oh, well, of course I’m glad! - I immediately assured, and I myself was panickingly trying to come up with something so that it would be possible to simultaneously communicate with her and with all my other guests, without giving anything away to her or myself. But then an even bigger surprise suddenly occurred, which completely knocked me out of the already quite complicated rut... “Oh, how many sve-o-skovs!... And how cool it is, ba-a-tyski!!!...” the three-year-old baby squeaked in complete delight, with a lisp, spinning like a top on his mother’s lap. - And the barefoot boots!... And the barefoot boots are so big! I stared at him, dumbfounded, and sat there for a while, unable to utter a word. And the baby, as if nothing had happened, happily continued to babble and break free from his mother’s tightly holding hands in order to “feel” all these “beauties” that had suddenly fallen from somewhere, and were also so bright and so multi-colored…. Stella, realizing that someone else had seen her, out of joy began to show him various funny fairy-tale pictures, which completely enchanted the baby, and he, with a happy squeal, jumped on his mother’s lap from the wild delight that poured “over the edge”... - Girl, girl, who are you girl?!. Oh, ba-a-tyuski, what a big mi-i-ska!!! And completely lame! Mom, mom, maybe I can take him home?.. Oh, and how shiny those little tits are!... And those golden fangs!.. His wide-open blue eyes caught with delight every new appearance of the “bright and unusual ", and the happy face was beaming with joy - the baby accepted everything that was happening childishly naturally, as if this was exactly how it was supposed to be... The situation was completely out of control, but I didn’t notice anything around, thinking at that moment only about one thing - a boy saw!!! He saw the same way I saw!.. So, after all, it was true that such people exist somewhere else?.. And that means - I was completely normal and not at all alone, as I thought at first!. So, this really was a Gift?.. Apparently, I was too stunned and looked at him closely, because the confused mother blushed very red and immediately rushed to “calm down” her son so that no one could hear what he was talking about... and then began to prove to me that “he’s just making things up, and that the doctor says (!!!) that he has a very wild imagination... and you don’t need to pay attention to him!..”. She was very nervous, and I saw that she would really like to leave here right now, just to avoid possible questions... - Please, just don’t worry! – I said quietly pleadingly. – Your son doesn’t invent – he sees! Same as me. You must help him! Please don't take him to the doctor again, your boy is special! And the doctors will kill all this! Talk to my grandmother - she will explain a lot to you... Just don’t take him to the doctor again, please!.. - I couldn’t stop, because my heart ached for this little, gifted boy, and I wanted it wildly, no matter what the cost , “save” it!..

Return

But only six years later, in 1979, did Rosa Ivanovna’s full return to the screen begin. At first it was the films of Pankratov-Cherny, then the role of a singing teacher in the film “The Adventures of Electronics”, beloved by the whole country. When Rosa Ivanovna was 56 years old, in 1983, the film “Mirgorod and Its Inhabitants” was released on the screens of the country, where she turned into Aunt Pulcheria Ivanovna, homely, kind, cozy.

In 1986, the film “Ransom” was released, in which she unexpectedly turned into a drug transporter, middle-aged, but very active. In 1988, she appeared in the role of an energetic matchmaker in the film “I Propose My Hand and Heart.” The last role was work in the detective comedy with elements of the action film by Alexander Chiruk “Your fingers smell like incense.”

This is how Rosa Makagonova lived her life, working and fighting the disease. Her biography is not easy. In 1995, at the age of 67, Rosa Ivanovna passed away.
