Anton Shipulin was born in Tyumen in 1987. From birth, the child’s fate was predetermined, since his parents were professional biathlon and skiers. His father, Vladimir Ivanovich, began training Anton when he was barely 3 years old. Together with the hero of this article, his sisters, Nastya and Anya, also worked. Anton's mother, Alla Abushaevna, like her husband, was a professional athlete. Moreover, both Shipulin’s parents had the title of master of sports (in biathlon and cross-country skiing).
During the period of perestroika, Alla Abushaevna and Vladimir Ivanovich changed their occupation. Now their professions were not related to sports. One of his mother’s friends began to train Anton. Shipulin was engaged in skiing until the age of 14. Around the same period, his sister Anastasia became seriously involved in biathlon. One day after training she brought the rifle home. Anton developed a great interest in this weapon. He spent a long time trying to persuade his sister to let him touch the rifle. Immediately after this, the young man firmly decided to connect his future life with biathlon.
Training and studies
In 2002, Anton Shipulin came to Mikhail Novikov, an experienced mentor who then collaborated with Svetlana Sleptsova. The young man moved to Khanty-Mansiysk and began training. This event determined his entire future life.
In 2004, the hero of this article graduated from school. His parents insisted that Anton receive a higher education. Therefore, he entered the Tyumen Law University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. It was not easy for him to study. Despite the fact that Shipulin was seriously involved in biathlon, the teachers did not make him any concessions. They demanded knowledge from him, not rewards. Therefore, Anton spent nights rewriting lectures and notes, memorizing the rules of law. And during the day the young man trained until exhaustion.

Anton Shipulin is the son of two successful skiers and biathletes. He began his professional sports activities in early childhood.
At the beginning, his father was his mentor, but later Anton decided to follow in the footsteps of his older sister, and picked up a rifle with which he began skiing. The parents accepted their son’s choice and placed him under the care of the famous coach Mikhail Novikov.
In 2004, Shipulin Jr. returned to his hometown and entered the law school to obtain a higher education. At the same time, continuing his sports activities.
Thanks to his gold medal at the European Youth Championships, Anton attracted the attention of the famous coach V. Putrov, who led more than one of his charges to excellent results.
From 2006 to the present day, Anton Shipulin has brought many victories to his country’s treasury.
