Childhood and youth

Anastasia Petrovna Miloslavskaya was born on May 4, 1995 in Moscow. The actress notes that her name is Stasya: that’s what her parents and friends have called her since childhood, and she has never been Nastya. From an early age, Stasya was a very active child, constantly making faces, and sometimes behaved provocatively. And although she did not have much contact with her classmates, her parents understood their creative and restless daughter very well. Stasya’s father is a musician and composer, artistic director of the ensemble, and her mother is also an artistic person by nature, although she graduated from the Institute of Applied Mathematics and her profession is related to numbers: she worked as a model, sang in musicals, and was a translator from Spanish. Now the actress's parents are divorced.

Stasya Miloslavskaya's height is 167 cm

Miloslavskaya attended a music school where she studied piano and studied acrobatic rock and roll and ballet for three years. In addition, Stasya went to classes at the Rampa Theater Studio, in which adult professional actors play on stage with children. At the age of 14, she auditioned for Boris Grachevsky’s film “The Roof”, but did not make it, but she met Anfisa Chernykh and has since considered her one of her best friends.

Education, extracurricular activities, filmography

In addition to secondary school, Stasya attended piano lessons. She successfully graduated from school and a music studio. In addition, she studied acrobatic rock and roll for 3 years at the Alpha dance school and plastic body movements in the ballet Fuete.

As a teenager, I paid attention to drama, and therefore began to go to the Rampa theater studio. Having learned to play a musical instrument, dance in different ways and perform on stage, Miloslavskaya decided to start a career in cinema. But first, I enrolled in the Moscow Art Theater School, which I graduated from in 2020.

The girl made her film debut with the sports drama “The Box”. As of July 31, 2020, the actress’s track record includes 13 projects. The most famous of them are the comedy series “Mounted Police” and “90s. Fun and loud." In these films she is included in the main cast.

Education

In 2013, after graduating from school No. 951, the girl entered the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Pisarev. According to the actress, at first they didn’t take her, “but after an hour they changed their minds.” The girl had already managed to pick up her documents and leave when she received a call from the educational department with good news. The last word was with Oleg Tabakov, who convinced his colleagues to take Miloslavskaya.

Stasya Miloslavskaya became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School in 2013

Stasia’s classmates included young actors Kirill Chernyshenko, Ksenia Lavronenko (daughter of actor Konstantin Lavronenko), Kuzma Saprykin, Taisiya Vilkova, Polina Aug (later she transferred to RATI-GITIS), now well-known to the viewer.

The star of the film “Bull” and one of the most sought-after young actresses spoke in an exclusive interview with GOLDEN magazine about the new film with her participation – “One Breath”, about how she regains strength between roles, as well as about her relationship with sports and shopping .

Share:

Let's start with something simple: what is your typical day like in Moscow? Do you create a strict regime for yourself or is this impossible for a creative person?

– When I have a day off, I say “no” to all the regimes in the world. I go to bed whenever I want, and the alarm clock is also canceled, of course. If my body asks me to lie on the couch all day, hugging a blanket and watching a TV series, I do it without a twinge of conscience. My friends call me their “best procrastination partner.” What can I say, I even have a book, almost a reference book, “The Art of Procrastination.”

@milostasii

You started your career early, filming, projects, performances - aren’t you afraid of getting tired, that there won’t be enough resources?

– I can’t say that I started a long time ago. Now I feel like I’m only at the beginning of my journey. The path is thorny, but it’s incredibly interesting what lies ahead. Losing interest is the worst thing for me. But for now I’m burning, and that’s the main thing! If I feel like I’m doing something because I have to, and not because I want to, I’ll honestly leave.

And if you feel that your resource is running out, how do you restore your strength?

“Sometimes I get tired, like everyone else.” But if there is no opportunity to rest, I remind myself why I am doing this, I remember how many people want to be in my place - and immediately everything falls into place. Sometimes, of course, there are shifts in cinema when you wake up at 6 in the morning and, gritting your teeth, go to the set, but when you enter the frame, you forget about everything - this is magic. It seems to me that the expression “theater heals” can also be applied to cinema. There is simply no time to think about your problems, ailments and other extraneous thoughts. Sublimation.

Do you think that in the acting profession, everything can be achieved through hard work or is luck important too?

– This is a combination of fortune and talent. When luck smiles on you once, it does not mean that it will continue to be so. Therefore, there are many one-day stars. But you can’t fool the viewer, and if you’re a random passer-by in a movie, the industry will spit you out and everyone will forget. Therefore, from time to time you need to prove to yourself and those around you that this is your place and you deserve to be here. Persistence, inner strength. And you still need to study. Every day.

You are a versatile actress, you try yourself in different projects, but can you say that there is a favorite genre?

– Of course, all artists like to suffer, cry and all that. But I want to try everything at once. Today it’s a drama, tomorrow it’s a musical. I want to break the stereotype that artists come in one genre. Personally, I’m interested in both comedy and arthouse cinema. It all depends on the story that is offered to me.

Still from the film “One Breath”

When you read the script, do you already begin to immerse yourself in the role and empathize with the characters? How sentimental are you in general? And is it easy for you to step away from the role later?

– I’m very sentimental, even too much! But I leave the role quite quickly, almost as soon as they say “stop”. I don’t know if this is good or bad, but I clearly distinguish between where I am and where the character is.

On March 5, the film “One Breath” with your participation will be released. Tell us about your heroine.

– My heroine Anya is the daughter of the main character. She does not accept her mother’s new hobby (freediving) at all, does not share it, because “all mothers are like mothers, ordinary, but mine is crazy.” And over the course of the film, Anya goes from radical rejection to empathy. It's also a coming of age story.

Have you ever done extreme sports yourself? Or is it not your thing at all?

– Winston Churchill said: “I owe my longevity to sports - I never did it.” So am I! (laughs) I had enough clubs in childhood and physical disciplines at the Moscow Art Theater School.

You admitted that before filming the film you didn’t even know what freediving was. But while I was preparing for filming, I studied the issue inside and out. Do you always take such a responsible approach to preparing for a role?

- Of course, always! There’s no other way - I have to know the subject, otherwise it’s all untrue and makes no sense.

The genre of the film is dramatic, but what was the atmosphere on the set? Did you manage to switch from drama?

– Naturally, because without love there is nowhere on the set. If you don’t love your partners, the director and the entire crew at the time of filming, the movie won’t work. And my close friend and partner, with whom we have already worked on 8 projects together, also acted with me, including performances at the Ermolova Theater - Philip Ershov. I felt incredibly comfortable on set! And also Vika Isakova. Incredibly gentle, professional, kind and just cool. I have admired her since my first year - as soon as I got into the backstage of the Pushkin Theater.

@milostasii

Is there anything fundamentally forbidden for you on screen, any role that you are unlikely to accept? Conversely, is there a dream role?

– There seem to be no taboo topics; again, it all depends on the story that is offered to me. Even the most sensitive or sensitive topic can be presented tastefully, or it can be cheesy and cheap - it all depends on who is at the helm in this case. Who is the director, what goals does he pursue when raising a sensitive topic, and so on. And trust is also important - you can’t live without it.

What do you get more pleasure from - the filming process itself or when you already see the result at the premiere, on TV?

– From the process, of course! I love watching how a character is born, how he stops being letters in a script and becomes a real person.

You are young and pretty, it seems that you don’t need any beauty tricks to look great. This is true? Or do you have your own skincare procedures, some pleasant rituals?

– My most important ritual is home care. In the morning and in the evening. And also folk tricks: a la washing with chamomile or morning ice cubes on the face.

On set you have a lot of costumes and clothes. In real life, you can be called a shopaholic. Do you like to change your looks and try new things? Or do you have enough work “changes”?

– The movie took away my desire to go shopping. I almost stopped going to shopping centers because I get tired after 10 minutes. I go to the shopping center only when absolutely necessary, for example, it has become cold outside, and I urgently need warm thermal leggings (smiles). Or socks. Or a sweater. I don’t go shopping for other clothes on purpose, it always happens according to the principle “I walked and walked and couldn’t pass by.” This is how new shoes appear. I also love picking up clothes from film sets. I already have a separate wardrobe from all the projects.

Do you have any kind of mascot that accompanies you on set?

– My thermos is metal. I don’t know how much of a talisman this is, but out of habit I always take it, especially if I’m going somewhere on an expedition.

Do you have a life motto, some quote or words that you say to yourself at important moments in life?

- Yes! “What’s mine will not leave me.” This principle makes life easier.

The following year, Stasya could be seen in Oleg Asadulin’s melodramatic series “House of Porcelain” on the Russia-1 channel. In it, the actress played the main role - the successful Soviet tennis player Katya Koroleva, who suddenly finds herself under investigation for a fabricated case and is forced to get a job as a saleswoman in a porcelain store. She will become a star! We're talking about actress Stas Miloslavskaya, whom you should know by now

We have no doubt: this young actress will bomb soon. 23-year-old Stasya Miloslavskaya is now starring in the biggest Russian projects (for example, together with Sasha Petrov in the film “Streltsov” about a Soviet football star). Her filmography also includes the drama “Red Bracelets”, the film “The Box”, the serial “House of Porcelain” and the comedy “Happiness!” Health!”, where she has the main role. In general, we advise you to remember it.

About family

My dad is a former author and presenter of music programs on the radio. He was also a keyboard player and guitarist in a cover band, and now he is the artistic director of the Melodiya ensemble. There he and his mother met. Mom did everything: she was a model, she sang in musicals, she was an Italian translator... In general, she graduated from the Institute of Economics with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Now my mother is resting and gardening.

About the theater

In general, I attended music school, ballet, drawing, and much more. And at the age of 12, I suddenly felt the urge to go to drama school, but I had no idea that I would be so passionate about theater and could not imagine my life without it. As a result, in 2020 I graduated from the best theater institute - the Moscow Art Theater School. By the way, when I was in my first year, my future agent came to take an acting exam, and we have been working together for five years. But the first casting in my life happened when I was 14 years old, I went to see Boris Grachevsky (69) for his film “The Roof”. I wasn’t accepted there, but I met my close friend, actress Anfisa Chernykh (22).

About work

I got my first role after my first year in an adaptation of the Spanish TV series “Red Bracelets”, it was directed by Natasha Meshchaninova (36). My heroine is a girl being treated for anorexia. I then prepared very seriously for the role, read a lot about this disease, tried to understand where it comes from. This is the project dearest to my heart - my first film work, meeting cool people who later became my loved ones. We waited for the broadcast for four years, it only happened this summer. And my second work was the film “Box” directed by Eduard Bordukov (39), it was released in 2020. After it, I was periodically attacked on social networks and occasionally recognized on the street.

O “Happiness!” Health!”

The film “Happiness! Health!” talks about three weddings - Russian, Armenian and Tatar. I played the Tatar bride. The script was captivating because it partly tells a story about Tatar traditions, and I am a quarter Tatar. My mother and grandmother were very happy. (Laughs.) And I wanted to try on the Tatar national wedding costume. By the way, I met the director of the film, Mark Gorobets (43), right on the set. They went very easily and quickly, I had great partners - sensitive and listening.

About life in Moscow

I rent an apartment in the center of Moscow with friends from the Gogol Center: Tema Shevchenko, Phil Avdeev and my friend Katya Sergeeva. We never have noisy parties; we live quietly and like a family. Occasionally we have dinner parties and invite some of our friends.

Philip Avdeev

I don’t have any time for parties, but sometimes I really want to release my demons and go dancing. Then I go to “Lisitsa” or “House 12”. Or you can just come to the Hermitage Garden and meet all your friends at once. But again, there is sorely not enough time for this. On my rare days off, I spend time with my family.

About new projects

In the fall, a new comedy project “Mounted Police” will start on the TNT channel, in which I have the main female role.

At the beginning of 2020, the film “On the Edge” by Eduard Bordukov will be released; I play a sports fencing champion together with Svetlana Khodchenkova (35). Soon there will also be a comedy series on STS “90s. Fun and loud." Now I’m filming the film “Streltsov” with Sasha Petrov (29) about the famous Soviet football player Eduard Streltsov, I play his wife Alla. The guys play football from morning to night, and in this movie I am responsible for the drama, lyrics and love line. In general, I worked quite well in 2020. (Laughs.)

About cinema and music

Right now I have Oxxxymiron (33) on repeat. And I’m a music lover – my playlist seems to have absolutely everything. From Agutin (50) with his “Lilac Moon” to Die Antwoord and Linkin Park.

My number one reference point is Natalie Portman (37). And I would really like to meet Konstantin Khabensky (46) on the same set - for me he has been the number one artist since childhood. I would say this is my little dream.

About personal

My heart is free. That's all.

Fun and loud” The next project with Stasia’s participation is the detective story “An Ordinary Woman” about a seemingly successful businesswoman living a double life. Miloslavskaya has a secondary role in the multi-part film.

The film “Happiness! Health!” attracted the actress because it talked about Tatar traditions, and her grandmother and mother were representatives of this nationality.

In the series “90s. Fun and loud” Stasya appeared in the image of the provincial Evgenia, who dreams of conquering Moscow as a singer. By the way, she had to sing herself, only in difficult moments they resorted to studio mixing. The remaining characters in the film are a dishwasher (Roman Kurtsyn), rock music fans (Philip Ershov and Yegor Trukhin) and a vocal teacher (Dmitry Nikulin). And such a motley group decides that it is better to fulfill the orders of drunken restaurant visitors for “blatnyak” than to vegetate in hunger and obscurity.

The role in the comedy “Mounted Police” required Miloslavskaya to master horse riding skills. The girl played the namesake - the “cool” police cavalry lieutenant Nastya. She agreed to film primarily out of love for noble animals, although on the very first day the horse tried to throw the rider off the saddle.

In the film “On the Edge,” Anastasia recalled unsuccessful fencing lessons at theater school. But there were no problems here, since the saber had to be held in the left hand, and the actress was left-handed from birth. Miloslavskaya and Svetlana Khodchenkova play rival fencers. The prototypes of the heroines were Olympic medalists Sofia Velikaya and Yana Yegoryan.
