Abdulov's future wife was born into a fairly wealthy family. Her father, Nikolai Veniaminovich, owned a hotel in Paris, and her uncle was the director of a plant in Nikolaev. The girl’s entire childhood and adolescence were spent in roses, because the family did not limit itself in anything. But everything comes to an end, and in the early 90s, prosperity collapsed: the uncle was arrested, and the father was forced to quickly divorce his wife and flee the country, otherwise he would face a decent prison sentence on charges of embezzling $37 million. Yulia does not like to remember these years; apparently she still has severe psychological trauma. After graduating from school, Yulia entered Odessa University and completely immersed herself in student life. At the age of 17, she fell in love and quickly married an 18-year-old guy. It must be said that the young man was promising at that time: he was starting to run his own business and was from a wealthy family. But this marriage did not last long. Julia wanted children, she even became pregnant, but her husband did not share her opinion, and youth took its toll: he wanted partying and fun. Yulia could not survive the betrayal and literally ran away from her problems to Moscow.

The next episode of the “Tonight” program was dedicated to actor Alexander Abdulov. His friends gathered in the studio and remembered the most vivid fragments of the famous actor’s life.
Of course, much attention was focused on Abdulov’s wife Yulia, who rarely goes out and does not like to comment on her personal life. For the sake of the program, she made an exception and revealed several interesting facts about her husband. So, Abdulova remembered how she told her husband about her pregnancy.
“We were filming then, and I decided to find out what was happening to my body. I did the test and then showed it to Sasha. He looked so carefully and asked if he understood everything correctly. And then he sat down and cried with joy. He was incredibly happy, because the child became a real gift of fate for him,” recalled Yulia.

According to Yulia, her husband went crazy with tenderness every time he saw his daughter. That is why he believed until the very end that he could defeat the disease and start a new life next to his child. The matured Evgenia Abdulova also appeared in the studio. Now the artist’s heiress is 11 years old, and the girl is already making creative plans with all her might.
"I play soccer. Now I am the only girl on the team. But in the future I want to become either an actress, or a director, or a cameraman. I really like it,” said Evgenia.

As it turns out, Abdulov’s daughter is a big fan of his films. The girl managed to get acquainted with many of her father’s works, but she especially likes the film “Sorcerers.”
Abdulov's wife always tried to support him in all his endeavors. She managed to establish friendly relations with all the artist’s friends and even with his former common-law wife Irina Alferova.
“When they worked on the film “Trap” together, Sasha did not ask me for permission. And why? I communicated well with Irina and her daughter Ksenia. I trusted them. Irina and I were never close friends, but we could chat,” Yulia emphasized.

The young woman chose not to discuss the topic of her husband’s long-term illness. She only noted that Alexander believed in victory until the very end and wanted to see his daughter grow up. When the man died, little Zhenya was only eight months old.
Throughout the entire program, the star’s wife answered questions with pleasure and smiled, remembering her loved one. However, at the end of the program, when Abdulov’s favorite song began to play, Yulia could not hold back her tears. The artist’s daughter also cried. Fans of the actor immediately came to the conclusion that the relatives were never able to fully cope with the tragic loss.

After Abdulov’s death, Yulia practically withdrew into herself; they say that she almost drank herself to death, but her friends came to the woman’s aid in time. Alexander was born in 1953 in the Tyumen region. The parents of the future People's Artist had a direct connection to the theater. His father worked as a director, and his mother was a make-up artist at a local drama theater. When Sasha was three years old, the family moved to Fergana. It was there that he first earned his first fee, playing the role of a five-year-old village boy. He was paid 3 rubles for his work.
Abdulov did not like to study. He was attracted to the football field and fencing. By the way, the physical training acquired in his youth later helped the actor play roles in films without the involvement of stuntmen. The young man's father dreamed that his son's profession would be related to the theater. Therefore, Alexander went to the school named after Shchepkin to enroll. However, in the second examination round, the jury made the following conclusion: “Inconsistency between appearance and inner character.” The guy was forced to return home. But a year later Abdulov entered GITIS and, after successfully passing his final exams, was immediately invited by Mark Zakharov to join the Lenkom troupe.

Alexander Abdulov was not indifferent to women, just as they were to him. The first feeling hit the guy during his student years. He fell in love with the maternity hospital nurse Tatyana. But he was not faithful in relationships. An improvident step on Sasha’s part, marked by his betrayal, turned out tragically for him. The girl, having learned about the act of her chosen one, reciprocated: she cheated on Sasha with his friend. As a result, Abdulov opened his veins. Then everything worked out, the actor even managed to avoid being locked up in a psychiatric hospital. By the way, Alexander performed such ambitious actions during his student years. This concerned not only his personal life, but also his studies. They tried to expel him from the institute more than once - the guy’s discipline always suffered.

In 1976, Irina Alferova joined the Lenkom troupe, where Alexander Gavrilovich played. This meeting marked a seventeen-year marriage. They were called the most beautiful couple in the Soviet Union. In 2005, an avid fisherman and hunter Alexander Gavrilovich went with friends to Kamchatka. On the same flight, the spectacular brunette Yulia flew from Domodedovo on a business trip. While traveling together, the couple meets with the help of mutual friends. Arriving on the peninsula, Abdulov and Yulia find themselves in the same company in the coming days.
“When we were sitting at the same table, I looked at Sasha and the thought flashed through my mind that he would become my husband and we would have a son. And then, delving deeper into this vision, I realized that this could not be,” recalls Yulia.
Alexander's friends immediately noticed changes in his behavior. He began to resemble a teenager in love. Later, when Yulia was asked in an interview: “What signs of attention did Abdulov show her?”, she recalled the incident. Meeting her on the stairs, he took her hand and began kissing her from wrist to elbow. A wonderful feeling inspired their hearts, but they returned to Moscow separately.

Vsevolod Abdulov played the role of Pyotr Solovyov in this film, which became the most striking in the filmography. Many years later, when the name of this actor is mentioned, viewers first of all remember the character from Govorukhin’s film. This small role was difficult for Abdulov. He was tormented by constant headaches. After the accident, it was not easy for him to remember the text. But he had to play a role in this film, because he wanted to prove to himself that he was still capable of acting in films. Despite his illness, Abdulov played brilliantly in this film. Remembering the last scene with his participation, when the exposed Soloviev suddenly demonstrates his insignificant insides in front of his colleagues, it is difficult to believe that the actor at that moment was experiencing unbearable physical suffering.
The fight for a happy life
“He always hid his illnesses; the only thing Gavrilovich could complain about was a cold. Condensed milk was his medicine. One day, when he got sick, I went to the base that supplied food to the canteens and bought 4.5 liters of condensed milk. Sasha ate it within a day and the next morning he already felt like a healthy person,” his good friend Leonid Yarmolnik said about him.
In the fateful year of 2007, Yulia Abdulova discovered an empty box of pills in her husband’s possession. This time he didn’t tell anyone about his well-being. This happened in Balaklava, on the set of the film “Engineer Garin’s Hyperboloid”. When she asked why he took such a dose of painkillers, it turned out that Alexander had stomach problems. Once in the Simferopol hospital, he heard the doctors’ diagnosis - an ulcer. Surgery was required. The disease was so advanced that Yulia thought: he would not survive. Fortunately, the operation was successful, but the doctors were not pleased with the people’s artist’s condition. By that time he had started coughing with chest pain. He was advised to get examined.
This time the usual miracle did not happen; he was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Julia, talking in an interview about this terrible period in their life, said: “I didn’t sleep, but listened to Sasha’s breathing all the time. I was so hurt for him that I mentally asked a higher power to transfer his illness to me. If it was possible to take the illness and subsequent death upon myself, then I would do so.”
They fought to the last, turning for help not only to traditional medicine, but also to the Kyrgyz shaman. By the way, a healer in Kyrgyzstan promised Alexander that he would cure him. Indeed, after the shamanic sessions, Abdulov even went hunting with his friends. This was his last foray into nature, then a sharp deterioration in his health began and the actor was constantly in a hospital bed. The New Year 2008 celebration took place in the Abdulov family circle at home. Alexander Gavrilovich felt unwell again. He went up to the nursery, took his Zhenya in his arms, kissed him, took a photo with his daughter and asked his wife to call an ambulance. Three days later he died. Julia was with him until his last breath.
