Personal life of actress Svetlana Ryabova

As a child, our heroine did not have an attractive appearance. But in his youth, the ugly duckling transformed into a beautiful swan. The tall and slender blonde was surrounded by male attention. The guys met Sveta right on the street. They asked her for her phone number, but our heroine constantly gave them non-existent numbers.

What you definitely can’t blame Ryabova for is frivolity. She always dreamed of big and bright love, so she didn’t spray herself on several guys.

Actress Svetlana Ryabova has been legally married for many years. Everything happened as she dreamed. Fate brought her together with a kind and faithful man. Who is he? The husband of actress Svetlana Ryabova is far from the world of cinema. He's doing business. Unfortunately, his name, surname and field of activity are kept secret.

It is known that Svetlana gave her husband two charming daughters. The first birth was late - at 34 years old. But the actress managed to carry the baby. In 1995, the couple had their first child, daughter Alexandra. For some time, Ryabova forgot about filming a movie. In 1998, there was another addition to their family. A second daughter was born, who was named Ekaterina.

After school

In high school, Svetlana already clearly understood that she would enter theater school and prepared passages for the entrance exams.

Once she read them in front of her favorite literature and biology teachers. During the “audition,” tears appeared in their eyes. The teachers said that they really liked it and that she would definitely go to theater school.

But she didn’t manage to become a student at the Shchukin School right away. The selection committee, headed by Katin-Yartsev, did not see acting talent in her. I had to return to Minsk. There she entered the theater institute and heard from the curator of her group that she should think about another profession before it was too late.

These words and the failure to enter “Pike” became a shock for her, after which she felt like a different person. The desire to study in the capital only grew stronger. The second attempt to conquer Moscow was successful.

A year later, Ryabova entered Albert Burov’s course. Albert Grigorievich accepted it without competition. Katin-Yartsev could not believe that he had not seen her abilities the year before.

Graduation performance

In his final year, Burov announced that one of his graduation performances, “School of Scandal” based on Sheridan’s play, would be staged by Alexander Anatolyevich Shirvindt. Sveta was among the lucky ones selected by the master for this production.

When assigning roles, the scriptwriter asked if any of the students knew how to play the piano. Ryabova raised her hand.

As a result, she was the first person the audience saw on stage at the beginning of the performance after the curtain opened. She sat at the piano in a beautiful dress, with feathers on her head and played Boccherini.

At that moment, the girl remembered the prophetic words of the teacher from the music school. At 15, Svetlana announced that she no longer wanted to study piano.

But the teacher, knowing about her dream of becoming an actress, made it clear how much musical education expands the range of possibilities of a creative person. And it’s great when an actress is able to sit down at the instrument and play Beethoven, Bach, or any other work. That's great rarity.

The young rebel was convinced - she returned to school and graduated with honors.

The actress still enjoys playing the instrument at home and in the theater, if required by the role.

Mironov, Papanov, Menglet

What happiness for Svetlana was the news that she had been accepted into the troupe of the Satire Theater.

The dream of her childhood and youth came true. Immediately after enrolling (in 1984), she began working in the play “Farewell, Entertainer.”

Her partner was Andrei Mironov - an amazing actor and an incredible workaholic, who gave his best at rehearsals and performances. Svetlana Leonidovna remembers working with him as a gift of fate and a good school.

The first tour in her life took place in her native Minsk. The actress tells with a smile how she asked the administrator to allocate about 90 tickets for her relatives and friends. Now she understands how adventurous her request was, but everyone she wanted to see could come.

There were many generous gifts of fate in her life. In 1987, Anatoly Dmitrievich Papanov invited her to play the role of Vera in the play based on Gorky’s play “The Last”. This production became the directorial debut of the famous actor. The play about the breakup of the Kolomiytsev family is sometimes called biblical in terms of the scale of the tragic events in which all the characters are involved.

Yesterday's graduate of the theater institute thought that her life and professional experience was not enough to embody the dramatic collisions of the play. She shared her doubts with Papanov and with Georgiy Menglet, the leading actor. Both luminaries encouraged and supported her in every possible way, praising her for her small successes.

Childhood and adolescence

The future artist Svetlana Leonidovna Ryabova was born at the end of March 1961. The woman’s homeland is the Belarusian city of Minsk. She spent her childhood and teenage years there. Even while studying in elementary school, young Sveta told her parents, classmates and teachers that she would become an artist.

As a teenager, the girl had curvy figures, and she was very afraid that this could become an obstacle to her path to her dream. Soon Svetlana began to go on a diet, ran in the mornings and flatly refused to eat sweets.

After graduating from school, Ryabova became a student at the theater institute in Minsk, but she studied there for only one year. The fact is that the teachers saw enormous creative potential in the girl and insisted that she go to conquer Moscow . Ryabova, without hesitation, took the documents and left for the Russian capital. She was accepted into two educational institutions at once - the Moscow Art Theater School and the Shchukin School. Svetlana preferred the latter and took a course with Albert Burov.

Upon completion of her studies, the certified actress was invited to serve at the Satire Theater , where she still works today. Ryabova's repertoire consists mainly of classical productions. The actress herself believes that classics allow you to feel a touch of great art.

Roles in the theater

The actress's theatrical biography is shaping up quite well. Now she is busy in 5 productions. In “The Suitcase” based on the play by Yuri Polyakov, her partner was the wonderful Fyodor Dobronravov.

For many years she has been playing in “Homo Erectus” - a Russian swing in two acts, the plot of which is replete with unexpected turns and grotesque situations.

“The Beggars' Opera” is a new attempt at reading the “Threepenny Opera” with a laconic scenography and the absence of the usual zongs. The premiere took place in the fall of 2020. Another role, Mrs. Hardcastle, is in “Night of Errors” based on Goldsmith’s play, directed by Pavel Lyubimtsev.

The 2020 premiere is the play “Bravissimo” about four elderly opera singers. Alexander Shirvindt staged it based on the famous play “Quartet” by Ronald Harwood. Reflections on art and impending old age, on the soul that remains young, on popularity remaining in the past. Ryabova plays one of the main roles there.

On the small stage of the theatre, the so-called “Attic of Satire”, a performance based on Chekhov’s stories and one-act plays “Tears Invisible to the World” is constantly sold out. This performance combines everything that is so dear to the actress: her beloved Chekhov, wonderful partners Oleg Vavilov and Oleg Kassin, the classic direction of Boris Shchedrin. The intimacy of the cozy hall with 6 rows encourages a sincere and subtle dialogue with the viewer.

Each role for Ryabova is like a child. But she has not yet played herself, her character. Daughter Katya calls her a person from another time. Colleagues note her amazing organic nature, charm and inner light.

Turgenev's girls, in love with Chekhov, find it difficult not to lose themselves in the present century. But there is always a way out. Svetlana Ryabova managed to find that cozy haven that allows her to maintain harmony in her soul - her favorite theater. Is her personal life such an outlet? There is no answer to this question.
