Sasha Strizhenova is preparing for a new stage in her relationship with her boyfriend

His parents experienced a romantic drama: his mother was married to his father's boss. One day, the husband could not go with his beloved to the theater, and so that the lady would not get bored, he sent Alexander Strizhenov there. He fell in love with the beautiful and graceful graduate of the Smolny Institute at first sight, and after a short period of time it turned out that she reciprocated his feelings.

The husband of the future actor’s mother, a man of principles and honor, saw that the couple had real feelings and did not interfere with the divorce. This is how a new Strizhenov family appeared, in which, in addition to the already existing son from his first marriage, two more boys appeared - Gleb and Oleg. All together they left their native Blagoveshchensk for Moscow.

The family was military, so both eldest sons went to fight. Boris died in one of his first battles, and Gleb received a shell shock and was discharged at the very beginning of the war. Oleg at that time was a 12-year-old boy.

When the war ended, it turned out that Oleg studied quite successfully, and also often participated in amateur performances, he knew how to make the viewer laugh, make them sad, think, and show mercy. But the main talent that the Strizhenovs’ youngest son possessed was a penchant for drawing.

Teachers, and especially friends, predicted a career as an artist for the boy, but his older brother decided to enter the theater school and in a couple of months was able to captivate Oleg with the idea. Without difficulty, he entered the Shchukin School, and after graduation he was assigned to the Tallinn Russian Drama Theater.

Lucy was 18 when he lied to her that he was going to get a divorce and invited her to live together. But the legal spouse found out about the love affairs. While she was worried, Oleg Alexandrovich went to Yalta to rest before the next important filming. His artist friends immediately informed him: a real beauty, a GITIS student, was filming here! The famous womanizer went to meet her and... ...immediately recognized in the charming girl the same Lionella whom he had already met in Odessa!

They began a romantic relationship, even then Strizhenov fell ill with his delightful Lee - that’s what he called her, but still did not suspect how cruelly fate would unfold their love boat.

Childhood and youth

But the difficulties and poverty of the post-war years did not kill the creative impulse and craving for art in the young Muscovite. From an early age, the girl dreamed of the stage and dreamed of becoming a theater and film actress. Lyuba had been preparing for this goal since school, and when she was awarded her matriculation certificate, she immediately took the documents to the Studio School of the legendary Moscow Art Theater.

The admissions committee highly appreciated the applicant's acting abilities and gave her a chance to become an artist. Lyubov Strizhenova plunged headlong into the world of creativity. For her, studying at a theater university became an outlet. She studied with ecstasy and every morning ran to the classroom as if on a holiday. In 1963, Strizhenova received her diploma. But before Oleg Alexandrovich is reunited with a girl with a rare name, he will have to leave his wife for a completely different woman.

Serious changes in Strizhenov’s life occurred after his refusal to play Bolkonsky with Bondarchuk. Sergei Fedorovich was on friendly terms with Oleg Alexandrovich, so close that there was no doubt that his friend had to give the most luxurious role to him. But Bondarchuk delayed. I arranged auditions, watched other artists for a whole year, and the neighbors were amazed: “How can this be? Strizhenov is a born Bolkonsky, why hasn’t he been invited yet?!”

The actor, who had already experienced the copper pipes of fame, was terribly offended by Bondarchuk, and when he finally called to invite him to audition, he decided to take revenge. He tried out and was approved. And then Strizhenov asked to gather the entire film crew, and in front of everyone he announced: Bondarchuk will not film! They called him to the ministry, asked uncomfortable questions and tried to force him to return to the role, but the actor was adamant.

After this story, Strizhenov first had to go on a long vacation, and then apply for a transfer to the Moscow Art Theater. Around the same time, changes occurred in the artist’s heart. At first, having cooled off towards his wife, he broke the heart of Lyudmila Marchenko.

The young artist, as she dreamed, was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater troupe. In 1987, after the division of the Moscow Art Theater, Lyubov Strizhenova ended up in the theater. M. Gorky, which was headed by the brilliant Tatyana Doronina.

For the second time, Lyubov Strizhenova appeared on the screen as a final year student. Although the role that director Igor Talankin gave to the aspiring actress turned out to be tiny, Lyuba gained invaluable acting experience, because on the set she was lucky to watch the work of Nina Urgant, Nikolai Burlyaev and Viya Artmane.

Full-time work in cinema awaited the graduate of the theater university in 1963. Strizhenova played the beloved girl of the main character, who was portrayed by Oleg Borisov, who is also the director of the comedy film “Stitches-Paths”.

The film is dominated not by a detective plot, but by a moral and psychological aspect. Having brought the investigation to the end, investigator Sukharev is convinced that the violators of the law have long stood up for correction, and punishment will ruin their lives.

But after the release of this film, the actress rarely appears on screen. She is not offered interesting roles in films; Lyubov Vasilievna concentrates her energy on serving in the theater. 4 years later, viewers saw their favorite artist in the dramatic film “Earth, on demand,” where the main character was played by Oleg Strizhenov, her husband.

Since the mid-1970s, Lyubov Strizhenova has appeared in films in minor or episodic roles, but some of them, thanks to the artist’s talent, were remembered by the audience forever. These include her work in the films “Turn” by Vadim Abdrashitov and “Eternal Call” by Vladimir Krasnopolsky. The young couple lived together for 5 years and separated when Lyubov Lifentsova met the handsome Oleg Strizhenov. The little daughter Lena, born in marriage with Zemlyanikin, could not save the family. Strizhenov also left his wife, although at that time his daughter Natalya was growing up.

The romance that broke out on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater did not last long. Ambitious spouses often quarreled, and the lump of claims that had accumulated over 6 years of marriage turned into an avalanche that buried old feelings. A divorce followed. The marriage produced a son, Alexander. He, like his parents, chose a creative path.

Strizhenova was able to change her life dramatically by waiting until her children had their own personal lives and her grandchildren grew up. The family accepted the decision of the mother and grandmother to go to the monastery with understanding and respect.

Gadfly

Even during his studies, student Strizhenov showed serious potential, and filmmakers often came to see the beginning artists. In parallel with this, director Alexander Feinzimmer planned to film the novel by Ethel Lillian Voynich “The Gadfly”.

Assistants in all theater universities were looking for the main character - the handsome, unbending Arthur. We also went to Shchuka. They liked the blue-eyed Strizhenov, and, taking a photograph of the actor, they went to show it to the director. The young boy did not make an impression on him, and then due to some red tape, the shooting had to be postponed.

When Feinzimmer returned to casting actors, Oleg Aleksandrovich was already considered a rising star of the Tallinn Theater, for which the Estonian bohemian public began to increasingly come to the Russian Drama Theater. Rumors about the young talent also reached the film crew of “Gadfly”; the second director of the film went to see the artist. I returned with the thought that I had finally found Arthur, and also with a photograph of Strizhenov!

Realizing that the second assistant already saw the same actor in the main role, Faintzimmer immediately called Oleg Alexandrovich to audition. The boy who arrived in brown pants did not fit the role of an uncompromising and even stern hero, but Strizhenov gave his best. After his audition, the director released the rest of the called artists, with the words: “There will be no more auditions.”

Personal life

On the set of one of his first films, “Leader,” Alexander Strizhenov met his future “soul mate.” As soon as he saw 14-year-old Katya, he promised himself that she would soon become his legal wife.

And so it happened. As soon as the couple reached adulthood, they immediately went to the registry office. It is noteworthy that the wedding took place on the birthday of Catherine’s mother. The young people decided this in order to return the holiday to the woman. Katya's early widowed mother has not celebrated her birthday since her husband died.

Before the wedding, the lovers visited Crimea. Having rested and received a beautiful, even tan, they returned to the capital. A week before going to the registry office, they secretly got married in one of the churches in Moscow. At the same time, Katya’s mother, who worked in the Central Committee, had no idea about this.

A year later, the newlyweds had a daughter, Nastya. Today she already has her own family. Her husband Peter graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Anastasia herself studied at one of the best design schools in the USA. After the wedding, which took place in 2013, the couple remained to live and work in America.

The youngest daughter, Alexandra Aleksandrovna Strizhenova, was born with a large gap from her sister - in 2000. The Strizhenovs consciously took their time in having children, so the birth of their second daughter also turned out to be welcome. Now the girl is studying at the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University.

The personal life of Alexander Strizhenov was happy. The strong marriage of two popular artists and TV presenters is one of the rare examples in the changing world of show business. Their union was not cloudless, but the couple managed to overcome all obstacles and early realized that marriage is the work of two people, constant and serious.

In 2014, the press actively discussed the fact that Alexander Strizhenov had sharply lost weight and became similar to himself in his early youth. The reason for being slim was, fortunately, not illness, but the desire to get my figure and health in order. True, Alexander Strizhenov decided to take on his diet after the doctors scared him. Doctors warned about diabetes at an early stage and heart failure, which could develop if he does not “come to his senses.”

Alexander Strizhenov lost almost 50 kg of weight. When asked how he managed this, he gives a simple and effective answer: “You need to eat less!” In his free time from work, of which there is not much in the artist’s life, he plays tennis, rollerblades or rides horses in one of the capital’s equestrian clubs.

Today, Alexander Strizhenov, alternately with Leonid Yakubovich, hosts the television project “Star on “Star”” and regularly appears among the jury members of the “Voting KiViN” festival.

The news that her daughter would have a child was first announced by Ekaterina Strizhenova on her 50th birthday. Photos of the baby became publicly available 2 months after his birth. They were posted on Instagram by Nastya. The boy had already been baptized, and the Strizhenovs’ youngest daughter, Alexandra, became Peter’s godmother.

Now, in addition to family joys, Alexander continues to realize his creative potential. In 2020, the premiere of the drama “Russian Demon” by Gregory of Constantinople took place at Kinotavr, in which Alexander Strizhenov played the role of Father Gregory.

The film was about a young man Svyatoslav (), who decided to open his own restaurant. While realizing his dream, the young businessman faces a number of difficulties. The acting ensemble was represented by Russian cinema stars -,. The film was awarded the award for best director at the film festival.
