How to look like 26 at 36: beauty secrets of actress Polya Polyakova

A childhood full of adventures

On April 24, 1927, a boy named Leva was born in Morshansk, in whom two passions would struggle throughout his youth - for the sea and for cinema. And you and I know which one won in the end.

The boy grew up incredibly artistic, he was not afraid of the stage, and performed with great pleasure with poems and songs.

However, as a child, the dream of becoming a sailor came to the fore. And she was so strong that Polyakov, barely graduating from school, ran away with a friend to Sevastopol to become a sailor. The angry mother quickly returned the dreamer back home.

Throwing of youth

Lev wanted to become a military man at all costs, so he soon entered an aviation technical school. This may be due to the fact that his father, Alexander Trofimovich, worked as a turner at an aircraft factory that produced space rockets and was personally acquainted with Sergei Korolev.

One way or another, the guy graduated from technical school and decided to think about the sea. The young man had an enthusiastic nature, to be sure. As soon as he became a cadet at the Naval School in Baku, Lev Polyakov apparently decided that his dream had come true too easily. And abandoning everything, he abruptly changes plans, leaves for Moscow and becomes a student at the Moscow Art Theater School.

Here the guy became convinced that he could kill two birds with one stone - play military men in films. However, with my studies in the theater, everything initially did not go so smoothly. In his third year, student Polyakov was expelled for immoral behavior.

For two whole years, the actor gave up his dream of getting a professional education. He worked in Leningrad theaters and ran in crowd scenes.

Then Polyakov decided to try his luck again. He returned to Moscow and incredible luck literally befell him - the legendary Sergei Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova accepted the talented young man straight into his third year at VGIK.

Bright roles in films

Education and theater experience helped the young actor get into films for episodic roles. Polyakova’s beautiful appearance and courageous appearance played an important role.

The debut film for Polyakov was “Stories about Lenin”. Then there was the “Motley Case”, which opened the way to big cinema for many young artists.

Soon he was noticed by the famous director Eldar Ryazanov and invited him to the musical film “The Hussar Ballad” for the role of Pyotr Pelymov.

The role of a handsome hussar has two sides to the coin. On the one hand, it was a positive experience, which allowed us to notice a stately and sophisticated artist.

Lev Polyakov earned the role of an aristocrat, a sophisticated nobleman, a cavalry guard, and an officer. Therefore, the actor’s repertoire includes roles of this kind in the films “War and Peace,” “Shot,” “The Crown of the Russian Empire or the Elusive Again.”

And on the other hand, there was a conflict with Ryazanov, up to the point where the director vetoed Polyakov’s filming in all his films. What happened between the metro and the young actor?

Conflict with Ryazanov

According to the memoirs of Lev Polyakov’s wife, actress Inna Vykhodtseva, the artist was very scrupulous and meticulous in each of his roles, as he was taught at VGIK. The actor also loved to make suggestions, was proactive and constantly argued with Ryazanov. He just wanted to improve the role, to bring something new to his image. But Eldar Aleksandrovich was terribly dissatisfied with the daring artist and turned out to be quite vindictive.

Inna Vykhodtseva says that even when she was invited to voice one of the roles in Ryazanov’s film and the director was “whispered” that she was Polyakov’s wife, her services were immediately refused.

Needless to say, Eldar Aleksandrovich no longer photographed Polyakov himself.

However, other famous directors fell in love with the actor and gave him wonderful roles in their films. Thus, Leonid Gaidai directed Lev Polyakov in his legendary comedy “The Diamond Arm” (by the way, in the role of the commander of a sea vessel), and Vladimir Krasnopolsky and Valery Uskov - in the epic “Shadows Disappear at Noon” (here Polyakov embodied the image of Anisim Shatrov).

Throughout his creative life, actor Lev Polyakov starred in many wonderful films and was awarded the titles of Honored and People's Artist.

Personal life

Lev Polyakov met his only beloved wife while still a student at VGIK. This is how Inna Vykhodtseva herself recalls it:

Lev Polyakov and Inna Vykhodtseva. Source: i.mycdn.me

“Once I was in a hurry to go to class, ran up the stairs, and he walked towards me. We collided and I fell. Lyova then said: “You’re crazy, where are you flying to?” And I thought to myself: what a fool, but I said nothing.

All the girls from the institute were in love with him then, and of course, I was too. It is simply impossible to remain indifferent at the sight of such a man. I remember that Lyusya Gurchenko had her eye on him, and I told her one thing: “Recall him.” She understood me."

Almost immediately Lev proposed to Inna. “I want you to be my wife, today and now,” he told her and took her to meet her parents.

Inna was accepted immediately, but her father-in-law, Inna’s father, did not like Lev. And he dissuaded his daughter from getting married. But Inna did not agree, which she still does not regret today.

The couple loved each other very much and were both extremely jealous. They often visited each other on set. Once, after a cinematic kiss between his wife and partner, Polyakov wiped her lips with cotton wool soaked in alcohol. And an innocent joke by actor Mikhail Pugovkin about his affair with Vykhodtseva almost led to divorce.

Life

The main occupations of the Poles have long been arable farming and cattle breeding. They raised goats, sheep, horses, kept pigs, and poultry. Rural residents were provided with meat, dairy products, wool, and sheepskin. Horses were draft animals. Flax, hemp, rye, wheat, and barley were grown on the land. There was a three-field system, like all Slavic tribes. Beekeeping has developed since the 19th century. In rural areas, many people still have their own apiaries.

The ancestors of the Poles have been engaged in fishing since ancient times. Archaeological excavations have revealed many artifacts indicating the spread of this activity among ancient tribes. Iron hooks, spears, combs, sinkers, and floats were found. Fishing was subject to tribute, which the peasants paid to the feudal lords. This type of fishing is still of great importance. In modern Poland, large fishing enterprises have been created, which employ a large number of the population.

One of the oldest occupations of the Poles was hunting large and small animals. Wolves, bison, and elk were usually hunted in groups, driving the animals into pits and traps. They set snares and traps for small animals and shot them with arrows. Falconry was common among aristocrats. Hound dogs were also used.

In the villages they were engaged in spinning and weaving. Hemp, flax, and wool were used to make clothing. Women knew how to weave lace, knit, and embroider. The men were engaged in wood processing. Wood was used to build housing, make dishes, tools, and household items.

The following crafts were important:

  1. Pottery
  2. Chariot
  3. Weaving from bark and willow
  4. Cooperation.

Polish potters made many types of tableware. Pots and cups made from clay were fired in ovens. This type of craft is still widespread today. Baskets, household utensils, and the base of carts are made from willow. Ceramics were painted with patterns, among which birds, plants, and flowers predominated. Wooden dishes were decorated with carvings.

In the Middle Ages, painting began to develop as an art form. Artists painted the boards with images of saints. Along with icon painting, the production of engravings of religious content arose. Craftsmen also painted the walls of houses, shutters, and trim. Ancient houses in Poland are covered with national ornaments inside and outside. Plant motifs were applied to interior items, furniture, and kitchen utensils.

The long-awaited son, and the tragedy of the entire life of the actor’s family

Inna’s mother-in-law tried to dissuade her from getting pregnant, saying that you’re an actress and you’ll ruin your figure. But Polyakov’s wife knew how much he wanted a son. She went home to give birth, to Lugansk. Her father promised the doctor to give the hospital two cars of coal for the birth of a boy. This is how Nikita Polyakov was born.

During the birth of his wife, Lev Polyakov was on the set of another war film and, out of excitement, shot himself in the leg with a rocket launcher. Doctors barely saved the actor's limb from amputation. And Polyakov hid this fact from his wife for a long time so that she would not lose milk.

Son Nikita has delighted his star parents since childhood. He was involved in figure skating, judo and sambo. Became regional champion. The boy was also very successful in learning foreign languages, which subsequently led him to enter the appropriate institute.

Nikita received the profession of assistant-translator and constantly went on business trips abroad. Soon he was invited to work under a contract in the Dominican Republic. A man was preparing for a wedding with a girl named Christina. But during the trip, their group was hit by a tsunami.

Later, no one was found, and Nikita Polyakov, among others, was declared missing. He was only 38 years old.

Traditions

Poles love holidays very much. Their calendar contains a large number of holiday dates, which sometimes follow one after another. Here are some of them:

  1. St. Nicholas Day.
  2. Christmas Eve.
  3. Christmas.
  4. New Year.
  5. Three Kings Day.
  6. Easter.
  7. All Saints' Day.
  8. Andrzejka's Day.

St. Nicholas Day is celebrated on the night of December 6th. Children put small gifts and sweets in their shoes. This custom can be compared to Christmas gifts being placed in boots at night. The tradition comes from the Middle Ages, when the priest Mikołaj lived. He was very kind. One day he learned that girls in the same family could not get married because they did not have a dowry. He placed gifts under their windows at night, and they were able to fulfill their dream.

Andrzejka's Day is celebrated on the night of November 30th. The main occupation of girls is fortune telling. This night is considered mystical. The tradition of telling fortunes about the groom dates back to the 16th century. Girls pour wax into the water to determine by its outline what kind of husband it will be. They also wonder who will get married first, what life will be like with their spouse.

Three Kings Day is celebrated on January 6th. It is also called Epiphany. He is Catholic. This is the story of how the wise men came to the newborn Jesus with gifts that had symbolic meaning: gold, myrrh, frankincense. On this day, costume processions and church services are held. Children arrange carols, go from house to house and beg for gifts - generous people. One of the interesting pagan rituals is the drowning of Mazhanna. Mazhanna is an ancient Slavic goddess associated with winter and death. On the day of the spring equinox, a doll is made from straw and material, decorated with multi-colored ribbons. Then a magical ritual is performed to expel winter and hasten the arrival of spring. After visiting all the houses in the village, the villagers came to the river, tore the clothes on the doll, set it on fire and threw it into the water. After that, I had to go home without looking back. You can’t look back, as you can invite illness; people who fall on the way home will die within a year.

At Christmas, there is a custom to put a bunch of hay under the tablecloth so that there is prosperity in the house. They put an extra plate and cutlery on the table in case an uninvited guest suddenly arrives. After the carp (a traditional Christmas dish) is eaten, the scales are distributed to everyone. They need to be put in your wallet to attract wealth.
