Childhood and youth
Alena Yakovleva was born in Moscow at the very beginning of the 60s. Her mother Kira Machulskaya was a doctor, and her father Yuri Yakovlev was a famous Soviet actor who played the role of Hippolytus in the melodramatic comedy “The Irony of Fate.” But Yuri Vasilyevich left the family even before his daughter was born and saw her for the first time as an adult girl.

Alena Yakovleva in her youth
Alena was raised by her stepfather Nikolai Ivanov, who was an international journalist by profession. Due to the specific nature of the work of the new head of the family, Yakovleva had to move from place to place throughout her childhood. Moreover, she lived not only in the Soviet Union, but also in Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Finland, and Norway.
After school, at the insistence of her mother, the girl entered Moscow State University to study journalism, but Alena was inexorably attracted to the stage. Therefore, at the university, the first thing she did was join the student theater troupe, which was then directed by the future famous director Roman Viktyuk. After 2 years, Yakovleva decided to take a risk and entered the Shchukin Theater School, without leaving Moscow State University. To do this, she had to use a trick: with the help of a graduate student friend, she pulled out her certificate from her personal file and was able to submit documents to the theater.
Biography
Alena Yakovleva is the daughter of the famous actor Yuri Yakovlev.
True, the parents separated even before the birth of their daughter. “After The Idiot, truly national fame fell upon him (Yuri Yakovlev). And at the Vakhtangov Theater they began to entrust him with prominent roles. “In the play “Ladies and Hussars” his partner was Ekaterina Raikina, daughter of Arkady Isaakovich. People started talking about them with delight. At first, as a successful acting duet, then as a simply beautiful couple. Maybe this universal attention played its fatal role... My mother began to hear some rumors, and soon she found out that Katya was expecting a child from Yura, and this happened at a time when she herself was pregnant with me. And then my mother, not wanting to put up with this circumstance, suggested that my father pack his suitcase. A stormy quarrel took place, as a result of which the dad was sentenced: “Divorce!” “Mom’s decision was not subject to appeal,” says Alena. After the breakup, Yuri Yakovlev did not show much interest in his daughter. When Alena was a small child, her mother Kira Andreevna married Nikolai Ivanov, a popular international journalist. Thanks to this, Alena traveled a lot since childhood, and at the age of 8 she left with her parents for Germany.
After graduating from school, on the advice of her parents, she entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow University. But I dreamed of the stage. “What reconciled me with Moscow State University was that there was a famous Student Theater there,” says Alena.
In my third year I decided to try to enter the theater school. “To do this, I had to pick up a certificate from the university, make a copy, collect all the necessary documents, take a photo for the theater school. Moreover, all this had to be done in one day, since the acceptance of documents was ending. It wasn’t easy to do, but I did it,” recalls Alena. So I entered the Shchukin School. For two years I studied at two universities, received two scholarships and did not arouse any suspicion from teachers. However, her secret was soon revealed, and Yakovleva was transferred to the correspondence department at Moscow State University. So she almost simultaneously received diplomas from two universities.
By the way, the real name of the actress is Elena. “After the release of Intergirls, people constantly asked me if I played the main role there. And this despite the fact that with Lena Yakovleva, for whom this was the first “star” role, we are completely different in appearance. I was so tired of such questions that I decided to remember what all my relatives and friends called me as a child. For them, I have always been Alenka. Moreover, the name Alena sounds much softer than my own ... "

Movies
Alena Yakovleva entered the world of cinema having already shown herself well on the theater stage. The main breakthrough occurred in 2006, when the actress added 12 roles in films and TV series to her filmography, and this is not counting her theatrical activities. Among the memorable projects of this period are “City Romance”, “About Love and Other Troubles”, “Deal”, in which Alena presented the main characters.

Alena Yakovleva and Vladislav Vetrov in the series “I Know Your Secrets-2”
One cannot ignore the continuation of the famous musketeer saga “The Return of the Musketeers, or the Treasures of Cardinal Mazarin”, in which the actress played the “new milady” - Madame de Croual. According to the audience, Yakovleva managed to create an image no less striking than Margarita Terekhova did in her time. By the way, Alena got this role, ahead of her Hollywood competitor, since the famous American star Milla Jovovich was also a contender for the vacancy.
In subsequent years, the actress starred more and more in television series, often in medical ones: “Women’s Doctor”, “Zemsky Doctor”, “The Diary of Doctor Zaitseva”. Alena’s popular work was the drama “Paradise”, in which her partners were Evgeny Tsyganov and Chulpan Khamatova.
Movie
A minor role in the drama “Two Shores” opened the way for the girl to the world of cinema and TV series. Afterwards, the girl received invitations to star in the comedy “Branch”, “Eternal Husband”, “Under Aurora. 1912”.
Then she played Dolores in “You Can’t Choose Times,” and Liliana Cavani in “Temptation,” a young lady with a bright and at the same time complex character.
Yakovleva takes theatrical performances much more seriously than films and TV series, but she still loves the latter very much.
Still from the series “Fatal Inheritance”
She never worked anyhow. And in those moments when some colleagues tried to shame her for filming in television projects, she harshly answered the question with a question, they say, where are the masterpieces that they can offer her. According to the artist, it is necessary to play qualitatively the role that we have now.
She also believes that in creative work, as in any other work, it is very important to develop and not lower the bar. After all, TV series are a good simulator and it doesn’t matter what the new heroine will be - negative or positive, main or secondary. Her words do not differ from her deeds, and her cameo roles confirm this. For example, a girl with a strong-willed character named Elsa in “The Fighter”, Anka, a beauty in “Kid and Milk”.
Still from the series “Urban Romance”
In her biography, 2006 became a real breakthrough for Alena Yakovleva as a film actress.
She played 12 roles. She revealed each of her images “from start to finish.” Viewers especially remembered her for her role in the melodrama “About Love and Other Troubles,” “Private Order” and “Lawyer.”
Even small works turned into real masterpieces. The strict teacher Sofia in “Who’s the Boss?”, the always fussing Clara in “In the Rhythm of Tango”, the simpleton Nina in “The Irrevocable Man”, the naive wife of the oligarch in “Vodyanoy”.
The actress treats herself quite strictly, remembers that talented adults are being replaced by young, fresh faces and this is inevitable. Therefore, I was glad to get the role of a non-glamorous woman with a difficult fate in the film “Boy and Girl,” the screenwriter of which was Galina Shcherbakova.
Still from the film “Return of the Musketeers”
Like all individuals involved in the acting profession, Alena Yuryevna loves transformation, so she doesn’t care who to play - a cool business woman or a rural simpleton, the main thing is to fully convey the game through the screen, so that the viewer feels the full depth of the heroine’s feelings. Therefore, she easily agreed to participate in the film “Gothic Collection/Merman” filled with mysticism.
The same thing happened with the adventure film “The Return of the Musketeers or The Treasure of Cardinal Mazarin,” where the actress received the role of De Croil. I spent 5-6 months preparing for my latest film work, studying equestrianism and fencing.
In the multi-part melodrama “All Inclusive,” she portrayed the oligarch’s wife, pianist Olga Vetrova, on television screens. This woman, positive in every sense, was ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of her family.
At the same time, Yakovleva starred in the film “The Deal,” directed by Ekaterina Dvugubskaya. She herself took part in the idea of creating a masterpiece, together with Tatyana Yakovenko. The women wanted to show with their play that female friendship exists.
Actress at a film festival
But this is not just another answer to men, but simply an attempt to refute popular opinion. True, the actress often emphasizes that she looks at men with skepticism, but does not deny their many positive qualities.
In 2020 she appeared in “Recipe for Love”. This is a series consisting of several episodes, its plot is built on a beautiful non-existent story. The girl understands that her future husband’s father is a British aristocrat who is unlikely to ever come to Russia, so when talking about her family, she slightly embellishes the story. The story captivates the man so much that he has a desire to come and meet his daughter-in-law’s mother, who lives in a remote village.
On the set
The actress can also be seen in the project “I Will Love You, May I?”, released last year. There the characters speak in poems by Eduard Asadov, and not theatrically, but in a conversational form. Literary lines sound like the most ordinary dialogues. Alena and her colleagues tried to make communication as natural as possible.

Personal life
Alena Yakovleva was in a civil marriage with actor Alexander Kakhun. For the girl it was her first love. She met her chosen one in her early youth, while a student at a theater university. According to Alena, Alexander was known as a ladies' man, which even the school's watchmen warned her about. But the artist was overwhelmed by her feelings, even despite all the warnings from her friends.

Alena Yakovleva and Kirill Kozakov with their daughter Maria
The actors were already planning to submit an application to the registry office; their witnesses at the wedding were to be Valentin Gaft and Marina Neyolova, but at the last moment “a black cat ran between the bride and groom.” Alexander was jealous of Alena’s colleague, which the actress could not understand. A serious scandal followed, which put an end to their relationship.
The first official spouse was another colleague, Kirill Kozakov, with whom the actress gave birth to a daughter, Maria. True, the birth of the baby did not strengthen the family, so after 4 months the woman took the child and left her husband. For a long time, Kozakov did not participate in raising his daughter; only after 14 years he began to appear in the girl’s life.
Alena Yakovleva’s husband – photo
The actress’s personal life plays with wild colors. At first, Alena Yakovleva lived with her common-law husband Alexander Kakhun, who is also an actor and TV presenter.
Alena Yakovleva lived with her husband, who had already become official, Kirill Kozakov, for a relatively short time. They separated in 1993, when their common daughter Maria was only 4 months old. At first, Yakovleva’s ex-husband did not communicate with his daughter, however, when the girl turned 14 years old, he finally decided to take part in her upbringing.
Film director Kirill Mozgalevsky became the actress’s third husband. Alena Yakovleva and her husband met on the set while filming a commercial. By the way, Kirill does this professionally. He was not afraid to marry an actress who had a two-year-old daughter in her arms, since in Alena’s life there are only two ideals - family and children.
A photo of Alena Yakovleva’s husband is still in their house, despite the fact that, after living together for quite a long time, the couple divorced. But, as Yakovleva herself claims, she and her husband have maintained friendly relations with each other and often hold various events together.
Perhaps interesting: Husband of Tatyana Lazareva, Husband of Olga Medynich.
Alena Yakovleva now
Now the actress has somewhat reduced her creative activity, but still continues to act in interesting projects. In 2020, viewers saw 3 projects with her participation. These are the melodrama “On the Swing of Fate”, the detective story “The Restorer” and the crime film “Friday Murders”.

Alena Yakovleva in 2020
In 2020, Alena Yakovleva became the heroine of the program “Secret to a Million”. In Lera Kudryavtseva’s studio, the artist spoke about many unknown facts of her biography, including the fact that she once had to endure violence. But Yakovleva never revealed the main secret, which concerned a woman’s love unknown to the public.
Role
It cannot be said that Alena Yuryevna has a clearly defined role. The talented actress is equally successful in the roles of pampered beauties, assertive and powerful businesswomen, and femme fatales.
Most often, Yakovleva creates the image of successful ladies, and it is in this capacity that most directors see her. However, there are exceptions. For example, in the film “Boy and Girl,” Alena convincingly played a woman with a difficult fate, who fears for her only son, who fell in love with his own teacher.
It is also impossible not to note the fact that Yakovleva often plays the role of doctors. She starred in “Zemsky Doctor”, “Sklifosovsky”, “Women’s Doctor”, “The Diary of Doctor Zaitseva”.

Love, family
Fans, of course, are interested not only in creative achievements, but also in Alena Yakovleva’s family. Her first husband was actor Alexander Kakhun. This man is best known for his role as Lestocq in The Secrets of Palace Coups. The marriage was civil; Alena and Alexander lived together for eight years. Then they realized that their relationship had outlived its usefulness and decided to break up. There were no children in this marriage.
What happened in Alena Yakovleva’s personal life after this? The second husband of the actress was actor Kirill Kozakov. She signed with this man at the registry office. “Countess de Monsoreau”, “Deli Case No. 1”, “Mikhailo Lomonosov”, “Obsession”, “Sofia”, “Crime by Inheritance” are the series thanks to which he was remembered by the audience. Kirill is the son of the famous actor Mikhail Kozakov. A daughter was born in the marriage, the girl was named Maria. She was barely four months old when her parents separated.
Alena Yakovleva practically stopped communicating with her first two husbands after the divorce. The third one entered her life forever. Kirill Mozgalevsky is known as a director, producer and poet. Yakovleva married this man when her daughter was two years old. After many years of living together, Alena and Kirill broke up, but remained friends. They are even known to celebrate holidays together.
