After graduating from school, on the advice of her parents, she entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow University. But I dreamed of the stage. “What reconciled me with Moscow State University was that there was a famous Student Theater there,” says Alena.

In my third year I decided to try to enter the theater school. “To do this, I had to pick up a certificate from the university, make a copy, collect all the necessary documents, take a photo for the theater school. Moreover, all this had to be done in one day, since the acceptance of documents was ending. It wasn’t easy to do, but I did it,” recalls Alena. So I entered the Shchukin School. For two years I studied at two universities, received two scholarships and did not arouse any suspicion from teachers. However, her secret was soon revealed, and Yakovleva was transferred to the correspondence department at Moscow State University.
