He was born in the Belarusian Borisov. The father of the future star was a military man, and his mother, according to Vadim, did not stop studying, mastering new professions and could never sit idle. She worked as a mechanic and a milling machine operator, did sewing and embroidery at home... in general, a lot of things. However, it cannot be said that no one from the child’s environment had a creative streak.
Galygin said that they lived as a large family. The house hosted cheerful evenings with accordion, poems, and ditties. He himself began to compose ditties, dance and sing early. It was in such an atmosphere that his well-known sense of humor was formed.
Tank
Vadim grew up as a mischievous child. In one of his interviews, he told how a military family was transferred to Mongolia for several years. With new friends, the 9-year-old child went several kilometers into the steppe - where earlier in the day the military had left a broken tank. From the tank we reached the railway, there we turned into a neighboring town...

We got home already in the dark, everyone was frozen. Galygin recalls how he shook ice out of his boots, and the next day he came down with pneumonia. Before that interview, my mother did not know where Vadim disappeared for the whole day and why he returned in this form.
Surgeon
The hooligan behavior to which the cheerful young man was prone played a cruel joke on him during his admission. Galygin dreamed of becoming a surgeon. And, for starters, after ninth grade I went to medical school.
He passed the preparatory courses well, but showed himself there to be an irrepressible cheerful fellow and a joker, who joked offensively even at the teachers. After the exams, Vadim saw good and excellent grades and was sure that he had the student’s card in his pocket. However, the boy was never admitted to medical school due to his behavior. I had to go back to school and go tenth.
Mister Officer
In his senior year, he decided against going to medical school. Other children of officers with whom Vadim was friends were planning to continue the military dynasty. After thinking about it, Vadim went with them to preparatory courses: this had many advantages. The guys were let out of their last lessons, and in this way they could skip the army... How wrong he was then.
Galygin spent the next few years in the army - first at the Higher Military Command School, and then at the Military Academy. It was in military universities that the future screenwriter began to participate in KVN. However, it was still a long way from show business: first, the man graduated from high school and became an officer.
Dasha
At home, in Belarus - my beloved, Dasha. Famous model, a real beauty. Galygin will tell you how he forced their relationship, how he quickly courted the girl, fearing that it would not be him who would get her. Having accepted the offer to move to Moscow, he immediately asked Dasha if she was ready to leave with him? He highly appreciated her willingness to be there, because he had nothing special to offer, and besides, they were not even married.
We arrived at a rented apartment that only had a sofa. Vadim will tell you that they were the first to buy a TV and literally began to “build a nest” around it. At first, Galygin was not particularly lucky in Moscow, but soon everything started to turn around. The man began writing scripts for programs and TV series, and then got into the Comedy Club project.
Humor and creativity
Vadim Galygin’s creative career began successfully as part of the MinpolitSha team. Then the team changed more than once, and the name also changed. The team was called “Treasure Island”, “It Happened and Worse”, and in the end simply “Minsk-Brest”. As part of Minsk-Brest, Galygin appeared in Sochi at the 2001 KVN festival. The team became the champion of the Euroleague, and captain Vadim Galygin was recognized as the brightest participant.
After the game with the Minsk-Brest team, Galygin was taken to the BSU team. This was a significant step up the career ladder.
But the real breakthrough in the comedian’s creative biography happened in 2005, when Vadim Galygin became a permanent member of the Comedy Club. As a resident, the artist presented to the public many wonderful performances made together with Timur Batrutdinov and Dmitry “Lucy” Sorokin, which brought incredible popularity to the artist. But unexpectedly for everyone, Galygin left the TV show and started his own business.

In 2008, viewers saw Galygin in the title role of the musical “The Phantom of the Soap Opera.” In the same year, Vadim became a participant in the television show “Two Stars,” which was broadcast on Channel One.
2009 turned out to be no less eventful with pleasant events for Galygin. In the spring, the comedian appeared as a judge on the popular project “Thank God, you came!” A couple of months later he began hosting the entertaining TV show “People, Horses, Rabbits and Home Videos,” which was broadcast on the Ukrainian channel ICTV. In the late 2000s, Vadim Galygin began producing and created the EGO Production studio. The company's first project was the comedy "The Best Film." The film was created in collaboration with the TNT channel and the Comedy Club Production company. The main roles in the farcical comedy were played by Garik Kharlamov, Elena Velikanova, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Mikhail Galustyan, Dmitry Nagiyev. The film's distribution was successful: the comedy paid off sixfold.
At the same time, Vadim did not abandon previous projects and continued to act in feature films. In 2008, Galygin became the author of the script and performed the leading role of pathologist Jacek Grobowski in the comedy “A Very Russian Detective.” The film was created at the EGO Production studio. The farcical comedy is based on the plots of famous detective stories - the American thriller "Seven" and Agatha Christie's novel "Ten Little Indians". The main characters of the parody were the brave detective Johnny Walker (Yuri Stoyanov) and the young partner Bret Pidd (Maxim Konovalov). The image of a criminologist on the screen was embodied by Mikhail Shats.
In 2010, the comedy project “Our Home Store” was released, where Vadim Galygin played the role of a guest star advertising products.
In 2014, viewers saw Vadim Galygin in the fantasy film “The Secret of the Princesses,” where the comedian appeared along with Kristina Orbakaite, Sergei Zhigunov and Yuri Galtsev.
In the same year, Kirill Kuzin’s comedy “The Zaletchiki” was released, where the Belarusian artist got the role of director. The main characters - losers Lekha and Nikolai (Ilya Glinnikov and Gosha Kutsenko) - receive an invitation from filmmakers to play in the film. But on the set, the friends destroy the helicopter of the project sponsor, after which they are forced to go on the run.
Ring and tooth
Having already become a real celebrity in one of the Comedy tours, he organized a real reception for Dasha’s birthday. I rented a two-level room for them and invited guests who were accommodated on the first level. At the height of the party, Vadim called his beloved for a few words on the top floor, got down on one knee and asked for her hand, handing over a ring.
When Dasha accepted the offer and took the ring out of the box, there was a tag on it. To remove it, Galygin tried to bite through the tight material and broke a tooth!
He tells how he and Dasha went out to the guests, confusedly and laughingly trying to explain everything: the ring, the tag, the tooth... The marriage was just as fast-paced and fun. The married couple had a daughter, Taya.

Now Vadim Galygin’s creative life remains busy. In 2017, the filming of two comedies with the participation of the comedian was completed. In the film “Zomboyashchik”, the artist entered the main cast along with other stars of the “Comedy Club”. The comedy film premiered on January 25, 2020.

In addition to his acting career, the comedian still appears on the air of the Comedy Club. The number “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” where Vadim Galygin performed together with Garik Martirosyan, gained particular popularity. And the artist fought with Alexander Revva on the air of the humorous program “Studio Soyuz”, which is also broadcast on TNT.

But there is always a sad side to being married to a celebrity: the abundance of gossip that swirls around the stars.
As soon as Vadim became a star, “well-wishers” began to bombard Dasha with gossip that her star husband was spending time with other girls. Whether this was true, Daria did not investigate. She packed her things and returned home, where the woman soon began an affair with an Odessa businessman.
Some time later, Vadim also married for the second time. His chosen one was again the Belarusian model and singer Olga Voinilovich. In his second marriage, the showman had a son.
