During the monarchy in Iran, many political opponents of the Shah fled from there. Some of them found refuge in the USSR. The blond beauty actress Irene Abdurrezaevna Azer was raised by her Iranian stepfather. And a simple Russian girl, Natalya Petrova, married a young rich Persian.

Natalya Petrova was born in 1953 in Kharkov (according to some sources in 1948). The beautiful girl did not think about an acting career and entered the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages. At the same time, she worked, in modern terms, as a model. But in Soviet times, this profession was more often called a fashion model. Natalya posed in Soyuzpushnina products.

Actress's childhood

In 1970, on August 23, a daughter, Natalya, was born into the director’s family. At that time, the Petrovs lived in Kyiv, Ukraine. Until the 5th grade, the girl lived with her parents and grandmother. She often visited her father’s work at the Lesya Ukrainka Theater and absorbed the director’s skills back in those days. Natalia's grandmother was a famous dressmaker. She sewed very beautiful clothes for her granddaughter. The girl tried to imitate her grandmother’s career and in the 5th grade she sewed herself a skirt from a piece of curtain. For this “test of writing” Natalya Petrova received a good thrashing.

The girl was brought up in strictness. She was accustomed to order and neatness in appearance. She was severely punished for having a dirty collar on her uniform. They even put her knees on buckwheat.

Petrova Natalya read a lot as a child. It was not the love of books, but the desire of the parents. In the evenings the girl retold to her father what she had read. By the time she was a teenager, she had read the complete collection of Dostoevsky's books. Now Natalya recalls that at that time she did not understand the meaning of most of the novels. But this reading experience helped her to put her speech correctly and broaden her horizons.

Black apron time

In general, I got caught for a number of offenses. In particular, for the off-white collar on his uniform. Keeping it immaculately white has been my personal responsibility since first grade. If he was not completely boiled, a flogging followed. Or buckwheat. I was standing on buckwheat! They poured it near the piano and placed their knees on it. By the way, often because I didn’t want to go to music school.

Then I started sewing aprons myself. I sewed black and white, of course with wings, a huge bow on the back and frills on the wings. The seams, of course, are crooked, but all the same - against the backdrop of the Soviet class, I seemed almost like a high school student.

At home I was forced to read. And then they checked it at night. And by the age of 14, I had read all of Dostoevsky. Of course, I didn’t understand anything. In vain - not in vain? In my opinion, it’s not in vain after all. Turns of speech, structure of thoughts enter into you as a given. You absorb them like a sponge. Then over the course of your life you figure it out.

Natalya Petrova: biography

From the 6th grade, the girl studied at a boarding school. Surprisingly, she quickly got used to it and splashed out her violent energy, which was not allowed out of her at home. She was a desperate hooligan and the ringleader at the boarding school. She ran into the dining room before everyone else and managed to eat the cutlets of her neighbors at the table. One day the guys taught her a lesson and over-salted the soup. Natalya Petrova was not a very good student. She practically didn’t do her homework, but only copied or changed the covers of her notebooks with someone else’s in order to avoid failing.

In high school, Natalya had a lot of fans. They gave her expensive gifts, and she accepted them. But the girl did not develop the relationship beyond such attention. Once in an interview, she admitted that the first man in her life was her husband. After graduating from school, the girl could not decide for a long time where she would go. Her mother said that with such a characteristic, she would not even be accepted into prison from school. But determination and talent won out - Natalya entered the Shchukin School.

Carier start

In her third year, the actress starred in three films, and fame came to her. She became a welcome guest at social events and parties. And then her image of a stylish girl changed dramatically. She increasingly began to appear in military boots and stretched black turtlenecks. In this way, the young psyche tried to cope with sudden recognition and excessive attention from the outside.

Natalya played Petrova’s first role in Valery Todorovsky’s film “Love”. This experience became very important for the actress. For her role as Maria in this film, she received an award at the Montpellier festival. “Best Actress” in 1992 went to her.

This was followed by the following filming in several films in a row:

  • "Leg";
  • "Love on the Island of Death";
  • "Until the thunder strikes";
  • "Carrying out the body."

Then the time came for Natalya’s career to stagnate, and she completely withdrew into herself. Alexander Proshkin brought her out of this state, who invited her to the main role in an erotic melodrama. “Black Veil” was another start in the actress’s career.

She personified the fairy-tale princess she played in the film “Ruslan and Lyudmila,” directed by Alexander Ptushko based on Pushkin’s fairy tale of the same name. He was practically a prince on a white horse: a young, rich, handsome foreigner. There were many secrets and legends associated with his name that have not yet been revealed. Natalya Petrova seemed to find herself in the very fairy tale where she once played. Babek Serush threw the whole world at her feet. Was their future life just as magical?

She was an obedient daughter and an exemplary student at the Institute of Foreign Languages. She was filming for an advertisement for Soyuzfur, but the career of a fashion model did not attract the girl. Quite by chance, her daughter Alexandra Ptushko, who worked as her father’s assistant, saw her on the street and persuaded Natalya Petrova to come to audition for the main role in the fairy tale “Ruslan and Lyudmila.” After filming, the girl became a real star. But the world of cinema did not become her own. She turned this page of the biography and returned to studying languages.

She understood that fame came to her thanks to the director, but she did not see any acting talent in herself. Alexander Ptushko planned to cast Natalya in “Sleeping Beauty” and openly said that her acting was average, but that she slept brilliantly. But the director’s creative plans were not destined to come true; he passed away. Natalya Petrova’s life could have turned out completely differently if she had not met her prince one day in the company of friends. He was born into a family of Iranian communists and emigrated to the Soviet Union with his parents as a child. Then there was a boarding school for the children of foreigners, studying at the physics department of Moscow State University, and then - wealth that fell out of nowhere. According to one version, he received an inheritance from a wealthy relative in Iran, according to another, he was engaged in business. He was suspected of having connections with the KGB, thanks to which he received all kinds of benefits and the opportunity to live in grand style. With his business, everything was also not at all easy. He was engaged in the supply of technological equipment to the USSR, but there were rumors that he was also involved in the sale of Soviet weapons.

Be that as it may, Babek Serush was a completely legal millionaire in the USSR, had a foreign passport and was a welcome guest in the houses of celebrities. He had a special relationship with Vladimir Vysotsky. The famous bard even left a guitar in his apartment so that he would have something to play when he came to visit. And Babek organized a luxurious recording studio at his dacha, especially for his friend. The attention of such a mysterious personality as Serush could flatter every girl, let alone a romantic person who identified herself in character with Lyudmila from Pushkin’s fairy tale?

A dream in reality

The meeting turned out to be fateful for both. He seemed like the embodiment of a girl’s wildest dream: a brand new foreign car, a fashionable suit, connections with influential people and, of course, money. However, Natalya was also able to surprise her new friend. On the first date, he brought the girl to the National, where his German partners were waiting for him. Babek knew that Natasha acted in films and, thanks to her studies in foreign language, speaks English fluently. He introduced the girl to his guests, and without the slightest hesitation she switched to German in communicating with them.

Babek was fascinated; his new acquaintance turned out to be not only fabulously beautiful, but also smart. And he threw all his strength into conquering his princess. The most beautiful outfits, jewelry, bouquets, a car - she had all the best.

Her prince was generous and generous. He was generous not only financially, he knew how to make friends and appreciate those who were close to him. At his dacha, at one time, the wedding of Alla Pugacheva and Alexander Stefanovich was celebrated, for whom Babek immediately became a family friend. And Vladimir Vysotsky dedicated the lines of his poem to him.

Natalya Petrova and Babek Serush got married after living together for two years. During this time, they managed not only to become convinced of the strength of their feelings, but also to prepare all the documents necessary for concluding a marriage between a Soviet girl and a foreign citizen.

Long short happiness

Family life did not give Natalya a chance to be disappointed in her husband. She accompanied her husband on trips abroad, had the opportunity to visit different countries, and vacationed at the best resorts in the world. All his life he showered her with gifts and never spared money for his wife. She managed to conquer her husband’s relatives by learning a Persian dance and several phrases in Farsi by the day she met them.

Thanks to her husband’s friendship with Vladimir Vysotsky, Natalya also starred in the film “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed,” playing a waitress in the restaurant where Fox was detained. When an actress from the main cast fell ill, Vladimir Semyonovich suggested taking a friend’s wife for the role. They weren't always able to be together. The husband was busy with his own affairs, they could be thousands of kilometers away from each other for weeks and even months. But at the same time, they called each other several times every day, and their meetings were touching and like a fairy tale.

Natalya was always aware that her husband was a man of a different mentality; his male ancestors owned harems. But she never tried to find out how he spent his time without her or to convict him of infidelity. His love, care and attention were quite enough for her. However, in 1992 he died suddenly. The reasons for his death were given variously. His wife is sure that he died of meningitis, but many of Babek Serush’s entourage believed that he knew too much and could easily have simply been removed.

Natalya did not give up after her husband’s death. Despite a very impressive inheritance, she went into business, which is quite successful. But she never got married. According to her, her husband was too extraordinary a person for anyone to replace him in her heart. However, sometimes it seems to her that he is about to appear on the doorstep, returning from some long business trip.

, marriages with foreigners were treated differently At first, those who started relationships with citizens of other countries were suspected of high treason and imprisoned for espionage; after the Great Patriotic War, international marriages were prohibited by law for some time. Foreigners who found their happiness in the Land of the Soviets also had a hard time. They broke the law, crossed boundaries, and even broke with family for the sake of their feelings. Directing career

In 1999, Natalya Vladimirovna Petrova completely turned her career 180 degrees. She graduated from directors' courses and went into this activity. In 2001, she directed her first film. The girl also played the main role in it. “The Road” became the last work (according to the actress herself) in acting and the first step in the field of directing. But the actress could not resist the offers and starred in two films: “Guardians of Vice” and “Main Roles.” In 2008, Natalya’s new director’s creation, the film “Pari,” appeared on screens.

Personal life of the actress

The actress got married for the first time while still at school, to her classmate. Natalya Petrova gave birth to his daughter Polina. They lived together for more than 7 years. After a while, the actress realized that this was not her man, and broke up with him. In her personal life, Natalya is the same maximalist as in her career. Her man must be a very strong personality.

Then there was a great love for a rock musician. But even here the relationship did not work out. The woman began to devote a lot of time to her daughter. As it turned out, the actress became a very good mother and even a little “crazy.” Natalya could wake up at night just to kiss her daughter.

Now the actress lives in several countries: England, France and Russia. It is very difficult to find her in one place. She married an influential man and has three children. Her husband is always ready to support her in her creative endeavors. During the filming of the film “The Road,” Alexander Mikhailovich’s investments made it possible to finish filming it. Now the actress and director has taken a short break and is raising her little son. But she is already making plans and getting ready to shoot the next film.

Boarding school coat time

It so happened that from the 5th grade I ended up in a boarding school. The students there were either orphans or children of restaurant directors - and I, who was neither one nor the other. Everyone wore identical coats, gray, with a collar, and identical tights, brown, always matching. After my first visit to this boarding school, I came home, took off my mouton coat and said: “I will walk like everyone else!” I received a little gray coat, felt comfortable, and after a while I became such a badass!

She behaved completely unceremoniously. I didn’t do my homework at all. I found a girl whose handwriting was similar to mine, took her notebook, changed the cover, wrote “Natasha Petrova” - and got an A. She was always the first to rush into the dining room and, before anyone came, she ate five cutlets from the common pan. One day she came later than everyone else, sat down - complete silence - took the first spoon of soup... And almost choked: there was more salt in it than in the Caspian Sea. This is how I got revenge.

The literature teacher simply loved me selflessly. She knew perfectly well that I would not learn the poem and, when she called me, she turned to the window. I read everything from a book. And she gave me a high five. One day the class rebelled: “She’s spying!” She said: “I didn’t see that!” In the graduation album, above the photo of our class, she wrote to me: “Either a star or nothing!”

In general, with the description that I was given at the end of my boarding school, as my mother put it, they wouldn’t even take me to prison.

Time for mom's astrakhan fur coat, grandma's diamonds and Italian patent leather boots for 320 rubles

This is how I went to my boarding school in high school. Well, a complete nightmare! One of my fans gave me Italian boots. And another fan was waiting for the end of my lessons under the school windows in his “eight”. At that time, the G8 was approximately the size of a spaceship. I had many adult admirers, to whom I, brought up in strict rules, did not allow anything, but accepted everything. (Actually, it’s funny here: everything happened to me as expected. The first man is also the first husband, wedding, child... This is not a matter of pride, it just happened that way.)

After school, I worked for a year at the Model House as a fashion model, and then I decided to become an actress and went to Moscow. I came to Shchuka in 11-centimeter-high heels, a short skirt, a Polish T-shirt with pink poppies, with eye shadow that I made with my own hands: I took a simple pencil, ground it down and put this graphite dust on my eyelids... I looked around - everyone was dressed somehow -to another. The next day at Voentorg I bought myself some sneakers and pants.

I passed a creative competition in both Shchuk and GITIS. I stood on Kalininsky and thought: “Where to go?!” The pike seemed closer to me.

And then I married my classmate, and we had a daughter, Polina. It turned out that I am a completely crazy mom! I never thought I would wake up at night to kiss her. Now we are already friends, she is 11 years old. She sometimes guides me: “Mom! It’s cold outside, you’re dressed lightly!”
