Thus, at the intersection of all these cultures, our today's hero appeared. Despite the fact that the Wentworth family moved to the United States in the early seventies, Miller still retains British citizenship and considers himself English. Most of his life was spent in New York. However, many of his relatives live in the British Isles, and therefore the talented actor still often visits them.

As for creative aspirations, they began to appear in the soul of our today's hero already in early childhood. Miller Wentworth played his first role in kindergarten, temporarily reincarnating as the T-Rex dinosaur. After that, the talented guy took part in several other productions, and having matured a little, he began to participate in the famous New York musical “SING!”, which always attracted the constant attention of the audience.

As Miller himself admits, his love for acting has always been with him. Already in his teens, he regularly appeared in public, seizing every opportunity. The young man allowed himself to deviate slightly from his intended path only during his studies at the prestigious Princeton University. At this point he became seriously interested in English literature. It was in this specialty that Miller subsequently received the corresponding diploma.

Hour…..Wentworth Miller (Wentworth Miller) Miller Wentworth still calls the years spent at Princeton the best of his life. He always loved his native alma mater, but after receiving his education, he still did not work in his profession. Having moved to Los Angeles, the young guy began to methodically pave his way to fame and popularity. Miller chose the path of an actor for himself and never turned away from this road again.

Wentworth's father is African-American with Jamaican, Somali, German-Jewish, Native American (Cherokee) and British ancestry, and his mother is of Russian, French, Syrian, Dutch and Lebanese ancestry.

When a gray-haired old man begins an affair with a 34-year-old cleaning lady (Nicole Kidman), his colleagues are outraged. But they, however, do not know the more shocking truth about Silka - a truth that has been carefully hidden even from his wife for the last 50 years. Silk is African American. It is not difficult to understand that Whent, with his university education, was better suited to the role of the young professor than anyone else. Benton, however, made an unforgivable mistake by inviting Welsh Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins to play the role of the aging Silk.

Critics were indignant: “Do you think the Anglo-Saxon Hopkins in the role of an old African American is original? Stupid! Miller revealed himself as a serious dramatic actor. A reputable American magazine wrote: “Miller’s performance is the only thing worth watching this unsuccessful film.” And two nominations for awards from the Association of Black Cinematographers finally secured Wentworth’s status as a sought-after actor.

“If you do any work, don’t stop halfway…. I remember my father telling me every time I wanted to go out after school: “Every test, every quiz, every conversation with the teacher, all of this affects your life, not only in college, but in general on your entire destiny. All these little pieces add up to something united and significant!”[5].

Early in his career, Miller worked in the development department of a production company at Paramount, ending up not on the screen, but on the other side of it. There wasn’t even enough money to rent an apartment, but Miller had no intention of refusing to realize himself as an actor.

Four years, hundreds of auditions and not a single offer. And yet, in the end, he participated as a guest actor in the filming of the series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Time of Your Life”, “ER” and “The Best”, until he finally got his first worthwhile role as a sensitive young David Scott in the TV series Dinotopia. Simultaneously with his participation in the series, the divorce proceedings of his parents began in the Miller family. Miller expected a lot from Dinotopia. The series received an Emmy Award, but Miller did not make it into the ranks of star performers, and therefore again embarked on numerous auditions.

In 2002, the actor’s resume landed on the table of the legendary Robert Benton, one of the co-creators of Bonnie and Clyde and director of the film Kramer vs. Kramer, and Miller received a role in the drama A Tarnished Reputation.

“I know it sounds terrible, but they said, in order to prove that I really am who I say I am, because many actors will say anything just to get a role, I have to bring a family photo album and photocopy photos of my relatives, from my grandfathers and grandmothers to the youngest. I stood at the photocopier, looked at all these faces and thought about my family until the end. I thought, God, is this all just to get a role? The answer was yes and no, but I felt that this was the right time, the right place and the right way... When I returned, they said that they approved me for the role, I immediately hugged everyone who was in the room. When I left the office and walked past Paramount Studios, where I had worked for the last five years, and thought this was a great moment, I was filled with gratitude and immediately called my mother!

It was no coincidence that Benton drew attention to Miller. "Tarnished Reputation" is an adaptation of Philip Roth's controversial novel about respected university professor Colman Silk. It is not difficult to understand that, given his background and university education, Whent was suitable for the role of a young professor like no one else.

I was proud to be able to tell a story that my family really wants to see, not only because I'm starring in it, but also because it touches on issues in our lives."[5]

The film "Tarnished Reputation" was shown at the Venice Film Festival, nominated for an Oscar, and also received an award from the Association of Black Filmmakers.

In 2005, Miller's photos appeared in popular publications, including L'uomo Vogue, Abercrombie & Fitch: new revamped xmas edition. He was invited to the series “Ghost Whisperer” and “The New Joan of Arc”. And then he became Michael Scofield in the television drama Prison Break.

“Some actors will tell you that they lose their self in the characters they play. I will say that for me, on the contrary, acting is about finding yourself through the character I play, it allows you to discover something about yourself that you cannot or do not allow to discover. Of course, this applies to me, and if they also pay money for it, why not?!”[5]

This role earned Miller a nomination for “Best Actor in a Drama Series” at the Golden Globe.

“The road was what it was and took as long as it took to achieve the main goal. I don't regret a second. It couldn’t be better than it is.”[5]

In 2009, Miller voiced several characters in the popular animated series Family Guy, starred in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and in 2010, in the film Resident Evil 3D: Afterlife as Chris Redfield. Miller also reprized the role of Captain Cold in the spin-off of “The Flash” called “Legends of Tomorrow”[8]. In this series, he was reunited with Dominic Purcell, who played Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break. Miller was only one of the main characters in the first season of Legends and left the show as a series regular, but signed a deal with Warner Bros. in 2020. Television about continuing to play the role of Leonard Snart in the Arrowverse series[9].

In 2010, “ Stoker
