Where did it all start? Alexander Yatsko was born in Minsk in June 1958. His childhood was filled with happy moments. The boy had many friends, with whom he spent most of his time playing.

Alexander performed several spectacular roles on the stage of the Taganka Theater. He played in plays by M. Bulgakov, M. Gorky, and Moliere. His characters were Pilate (“The Master and Margarita”), Baron (“At the Depths”), Alcestes (“The Misanthrope”).

“The Misanthrope” is the last production by Anatoly Efros; the director passed away in 1987. Alexander worked at the Taganka Theater for several more years after his death. He decided to quit in 1993.
