Childhood and youth

Alexander was born in Yekaterinburg into a family of police officers. His older brother followed in his parents’ footsteps and, after graduating from college, went to work for the authorities. And only Alexander from an early age dreamed of becoming an actor.

Sasha's childhood fell on an economically difficult period in the country - Perestroika. Parents had to look for additional income to feed their family. Along with his work in the police, my father got a job as a driver at the sanitary and epidemiological station, and my mother, after a shift at the Ministry of Internal Affairs department, worked as a cleaner. But, seeing the desire of their youngest son, the parents, despite the need, agreed to send Sasha to a school with a theatrical focus.

Pashkov Jr. also began to earn a little extra money: in his free time, the boy and his friends sold printed publications on trams and trains. But little Sasha’s thoughts were still occupied by the theater. He not only learned the basics of acting, but also learned to dance beautifully, so much so that he was enrolled in a ballet school without being tested. Thus, from the age of 9, Pashkov began appearing on the stage of the Academic Theater of Musical Comedy, and at 14 he became a full-fledged artist of this theater.

In the last year of school, his parents began to persuade Alexander not to connect his life with art, but to get a job in the police. The young man was relentless and went to Moscow to storm GITIS, but failed the last round of exams. After returning to his small homeland, the young man entered the Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute in the acting department, on the course of A. V. Petrov. After university, as a professional actor, Pashkov returned to his native theater, but soon realized that it was unrealistic to make a good career in the provinces.

With his last money, the young man buys a train ticket and goes to the capital, where his friend, director Alexander Meleshko, already lived.

For a long time, the young man cannot catch a significant role, limiting himself to rare minutes on the screen. At the same time, the artist had to work part-time as a courier and loader. Probably more than once at that moment, Alexander Pashkov recalled his parents’ advice about choosing a profession. It’s funny, but the wish of the mother and father will come true relatively soon: in the first films, Alexander Pashkov will appear precisely in the role of policemen and special forces.

Pashkov’s parents are servants of the law, both work in the police. The actor’s older brother, Oleg, also followed in the footsteps of his mother, Zoya Zoteevna and father, Viktor Petrovich, which made his father incredibly happy. After the youngest son went into the world of cinema, the Pashkov family often laughed at the fact that he played the role of police officers in the movies.

The actor himself today is the father of four children. He arrives divorced from his first wife and is married for the second time. Alexander Pashkov’s family and children from his first marriage live in Moscow, so they see each other often.

After participating in episodes of the series “The Investigation is Conducted by Experts. Arbitrator", "Return of Mukhtar" and "People and Shadows. Optical Illusion”, in which Alexander Pashkov invariably appeared in a police uniform, fate decided to return the actor to his own favor. Alexander had the opportunity to play a fairly important character in the new season of the melodrama “Ondine 2: On the Crest of a Wave.” Moreover, everything happened on the one hand by chance, and on the other – symbolically.

But Pashkov was on the wrong floor and ended up on the set of Ondine, where, confident that he had come correctly, he insisted on viewing his own candidacy. Only when leaving the studio did the actor realize that he had ended up in the wrong casting. This series began the rise in the creative biography of the Ural guy.

2008 brought Pashkov even greater popularity. Then the actor starred in half a dozen films, three of which were received with interest by the audience. First, in the melodrama “Apples of Paradise,” Alexander, together with Olga Filippova, offers a version of the pure relationship of Romeo and Juliet, adapted to Soviet surroundings. Then, in the psychological film “Love on the Asphalt,” he shows the pangs of conscience of a race car driver who, through negligence, makes a young girl disabled. After these films, Pashkov was not left without work. In the second half of the 2000s, the actor’s filmography was replenished with new projects, including the military action film “Desantura”, the crime drama “Cherkizona. Disposable People”, adventure film “Project GoldenEye”. The films captivate the viewer and are vigorously discussed by fans long after the screening ends.

In 2013, the multi-part mystical film “13” was released about the work of newspaper employees investigating unexplained incidents. In the film, Alexander took on the role of Andrei Strelnikov, the owner of the publication. In the same year, the actor’s name appears in the credits of the series “Moving”, “I Can’t Forget You”, “I Will Give You Love”. A year later, with the participation of Alexander, the screening of the detective comedy “Private Detective Tatyana Ivanova” starts, where the main character is played by Anna Taratorkina.

Alexander Pashkov acted not only in feature films. In 2020, the artist played the main characters in the melodramas “Paper Flowers”, “Vasilisa” and others. In the detective story “Rescuer,” Pashkov appeared before the audience in the role of the leader of the rescue squad, Georgy Uvarov, who is accused of murdering his own wife and the disappearance of the family of a prominent businessman of the region, Novikov (Oleg Almazov). He also appeared in the film adaptation of Tatyana Polyakova’s novel “The Young Lady and the Hooligan,” where he played the hero Kostya.

At the end of September 2020, with the participation of the artist, the melodrama “Dawn on Santorini” started showing on the TVC channel. One of the brightest premieres of the year with Pashkov’s participation was the screening of the drama series “Disobedient”. The film, set in the Brezhnev era, is about the love of a 16-year-old girl Sonya (Sonya Metelitsa) and a representative of the criminal world Sergei (Evgeniy Tkachuk). The young man drags Sophia into a whirlpool of crimes. The investigation that has begun is led by police captain Lebedev (Alexander Pashkov). According to the plot, Pashkov’s character is a negative hero, a werewolf in uniform. The artist has long wanted to bring such an image to life on screen. He draws the attention of the audience to the fact that he is already tired of melodramas, so he gladly accepted the offer of the project director.

Another central image in Alexander’s filmography appeared in 2017. This is the role of the husband of the main character of the detective story “Scar”. A woman witnesses the kidnapping of a little boy, but one day she gets on the trail of the criminals. Anna Taratorkina became Pashkov’s partner in the shot.

Career

In 2001, the young actor successfully graduated from the institute, and then he made his film debut. The first roles at the Sverdlovsk film studio were tiny and insignificant; I had to work part-time as a courier, putty and paint cars in a car service center, and drive taxis at night. But Alexander did not despair and persistently attended all kinds of castings in the hope of getting a worthy role. And soon his dreams were destined to come true.

Deciding to try his luck in Moscow again, he moved in with a friend who rented a room in a communal apartment, worked as a courier and knocked on doorsteps of film studios. One day he accidentally mixed up the floors at the Gorky Film Studio and ended up auditioning for the TV series Ondine-2. Alexander was extremely surprised when they called him that same evening and informed him that he had been cast in the main role.

From that moment on, the film career of the little-known actor began to rapidly gain momentum. Bright roles soon followed in the TV series “Apples of Paradise” and “Tycoons”, after which he was willingly invited to play the roles of kidnappers of women’s hearts. In 2005, he became part of the troupe of the Moscow Film Actor Theater.

In 2010, Alexander’s dancing skills came in handy: together with presenter Yulia Zimina, they took third place in the “Dancing with the Stars” project. To date, Pashkov has played almost a hundred roles in various films and TV series, and he can also be seen on the stage of the capital’s Film Actor Theater.

Personal life

Having become a student at the Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute, Alexander Pashkov met a girl, Angelika Samoilova, who was studying two years older. The girl impressed the future artist with her oriental appearance (Angelica is half Azerbaijani).

For two months, Pashkov daily sought the favor of his chosen one before the student agreed to go on a date. When Alexander turned 18, the young people got married, and subsequently the couple had three children: daughters Alina and Ksenia, and son Fedor. The eldest daughter’s dream is to get an education as an animator; for the sake of this profession, the girl stormed VGIK in 2017. Fedya is interested in music and plays several instruments.

In 2014, dramatic changes occurred in the artist’s personal life. Alexander and Anzhelika Pashkov were together for more than 17 years, but then broke up not without mutual complaints. But about all this: romantic meetings, falling in love, a proposal, preparations for a wedding, the secret celebration itself in the holy land of Israel - the general public learned, as they say, “de facto.” The newlyweds, like real partisans, waited until the last minute and did not talk about the fact that they were already a family. Details emerged about how they were considering a place for the wedding, and Dima’s chosen one supported the groom’s idea to do it in Jerusalem. “I always choose a city with positive energy for significant events, and Jerusalem is an ideal place for the sacrament of marriage,” said the former “bachelor on duty” of Ukraine, and Alexandra nodded during their joint interview with the “1+1” channel. They told how they tried to keep the secret when they signed at the registry office: “They quickly came with their passports, handed over the documents, signed what they needed and ran away before anyone tipped off the journalists about us.”

It will seem strange and even offensive to someone that they flew to Israel on different planes before the wedding. “This is not about Sasha!” – Dima said hotly, and added: “She agreed with me right away that you shouldn’t board the same plane: someone will immediately notice it, and conversations will start again. And the fact that we went to Tel Aviv on the same day, we had an ironclad “excuse” ready for this: Eurovision was taking place there.
