Demis Karibidis - a creative pseudonym from the surname Karibov - is a conversational artist, an improviser, a former member of the KVN "BAK" teams (the village of Bryukhovetskaya) and the Krasnodar Territory National Team, a resident of the Comedy Club television project.
He comes up with his sparkling monologues, bold jokes, shocking parodies and funny miniatures himself, often improvising right on stage, despite the existence of a creative department of more than fifty authors working on episodes of the above-mentioned TV show.

Childhood
Now a bright representative of the humorous genre, Demis was born on December 4, 1982 in the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi. Little is known about his parents - only that they belonged to the middle class and after the collapse of the USSR, together with their children (Demis and his older brother) moved for permanent residence to the million-plus Greek city of Thessaloniki.
In all likelihood, Greece is the historical homeland of the Caribbean family. At least, the showman has repeatedly stated in his witty manner that he is Greek by nationality, and that he became a KVN player many years ago in Ancient Greece.
As a child, Demis Karibidis was an active, inquisitive and sociable child, loved to fantasize, and showed musical abilities. According to him, he was always partial to music, and he was especially attracted to percussion instruments. At first, the boy really liked just knocking on his mother’s upside-down pots, using them in an alternative capacity. Then, encouraging his passion and passion, his brother gave him a real, very good drum, and things went well. As a result, Demis, a purposeful man, masterfully mastered playing the percussion. And to this day he carefully and reverently preserves his first instrument.
Upon reaching the age of 14, the teenager was again expected to move, this time to the Russian resort city of Gelendzhik. Online sources claim that at that time he spoke Russian poorly, but spoke excellent Modern Greek and understood the Pontic dialect of Greek. Demis Karibidis, one of the most colorful residents of the Comedy Club, was born in Tbilisi, but his childhood was spent mainly in Greece. Parents moved to Thessaloniki immediately after the collapse of the USSR.
The young joker lived and studied in a foreign country until the seventh grade, and after that the Karibovs had to move to Gelendzhik . Of course, for young Demis this event became a real stress - firstly, adaptation and getting used to the new climate caused some inconvenience, and secondly, the guy practically did not know the Russian language.
He had to catch up with his classmates in the school curriculum and at the same time learn a new language. It was very difficult, but Demis did it, so his parents were proud of him, and he himself experienced genuine self-satisfaction.
After school, the artist entered the Department of Tourism at Sochi University ; as part of his studies, he learned two more languages - English and Spanish. At that point in time, he already knew 6 languages!
At the same time, Demis became interested in KVN, first he joined the university team, and then, having gained experience, he moved to the big KVN. Demis participated in two teams - Krasnodarsky Prospekt and BAK, with the first team he even became the Champion of the Major League.
When the path to KVN came to a logical conclusion, Demis no longer wanted to go to work in his profession - he had too many friends and acquaintances related to humor, there were enough offers, and most importantly, he enjoyed entertaining the audience from the stage.
For this reason, Demis gladly accepted the invitation to become a member of the Comedy Club . His jokes, as his colleagues say, live among us; Karibidis shows such numbers in which the audience recognizes the characters presented.
Most often, Demis Karibidis performs in tandem with Andrey Skorokhod, sometimes with Marina Kravets.
One looks like a neighbor, the other looks like an acquaintance or relative, but it seems he is talking about a friend... Demis fit into the team of comedians perfectly, and clearly did not intend to stop there.
Karibidis tried himself as a film actor, he took part in several sitcoms on the TNT channel, and also played a security guard in a series of comic issues about the Bearded Man. Demis loves interesting proposals, he behaves enthusiastically on stage, and he is the same in life.

In 2004, he joined a higher-level team - Krasnodarsky Prospekt, playing in the Premier League. Then, with a team from the village of Bryukhovetskaya (“BAK”), he reached the Major League.
Humorous scenes, subtle witticisms, irony and puns became the main companions of his leisure time and throughout his life. On stage, he usually presented good-natured, somewhat naive and not very smart simpletons who found themselves in funny situations.
