The first audition was successful, they found a place to spend the night - a student dormitory near the VDNKh metro station. To celebrate, we walked around Moscow for so long that we arrived at the hostel to closed doors late at night - they couldn’t even knock on the door to be let in. Then Oksana said: “We, who spent the night on benches at VDNKh, were miraculously not taken to the police, but besides the police there was another problem - stray dogs. All night they ran around us and clicked their teeth.” Without much sleep, the young people went to the station - it was time to go home.

And in Kyiv, a producer was waiting for them, who took a liking to them even before leaving for Moscow. Occasionally, when already famous singers of the club were late or did not come due to illness, Oksana was trusted to sing “killer” hits, and the restaurant guests listened with interest to the young singer. “And then these competitors came and attacked me: “Who are you anyway, have you forgotten your place? Don’t you dare sing our repertoire, you greenies!” – Sergienko said today. And again depression, this time in a black wave, “covered” her headlong. Suddenly an advertisement caught her eye: “Beautiful girls are needed for the position of sales consultants for branded clothing.” Oksana immediately called, and lo and behold, she was immediately hired! A year later, cooperation with the young man who offered her this job developed into a personal relationship, but it did not last long, and Oksana left his company and returned to the restaurant.

In 2009, luck smiled on her again: Martin Health himself, the “father and founder” of the independent music label Lizard King Records, offered to sign a long-term contract. Is it possible to doubt and not accept the offer of a man who at one time “promoted” the unknown “The Killers”? As part of the “OXZANA” project, Martin nominates the girl to participate in the “New Music Seminar”, and she is awarded the “Discovery of the Year” award. And then everything turned out to be not such “sweet honey” as it seemed at first. “Yes, I collaborated with Martin Health, but we had both pleasant moments and quarrels,” Oksana Sergienko later said. She couldn’t leave the producer because she had signed a contract, but after some time the group left Martin and they began performing on their own.

The OXZANA team, having gotten rid of the “patronage” of Martin Health, performed well and even recorded several videos and albums. Agutin, in surprise and admiration, has not yet turned around, spreads his hands and says: “Cool!” At the “blind” audition, all four turn around, and the audience simply goes wild with delight - Ksana sang so well. Quarter finals of “The Voice”: the singer appears before the jury with Michael Jackson’s hit “Beat it”. She amazed everyone not only with her original performance, but also with an unexpected change of image during the performance: on the second verse, Ksana abruptly tore off her black suit and appeared before the public in a chic white dress. Many years of performing in concert programs of an American club, where it was necessary to frequently change images, were not in vain for the girl. Is it possible to compare rare performances year after year in front of a tipsy audience in a restaurant with national fame, with the long-awaited recognition of family, “your” audience? In November 2016, the singer received an invitation from Sergei Penkin to collaborate and went with him on a large-scale tour across the country. In the same year, film and theater director Felix Mikhailov invited her to participate in the Leningrad Center show program. There, the artist almost immediately becomes part of the main cast of the troupe: circus tricks, transformations, original songs - she copes with any number masterfully.

Her collaboration with Penkin should be discussed separately. And suddenly, “like in a fairy tale, the door creaked” - as in the old famous hit, a broad-shouldered black-haired man appears on the threshold of the restaurant a handsome man who stares straight at her without taking his eyes off her.
