Biography
Konstantin was born into a family of engineers. As a child, I was a restless child. Trying to direct their son’s energy in a positive direction, the future actor’s parents enrolled him in the theater studio at the Palace of Pioneers in the third grade. He liked to participate in performances, but Kostya did not seriously think about the acting profession - he was going to a tank school.
The dream of being a military man did not come true due to health problems. Then the young man decided to become a lawyer, but his plans were changed by chance. At one of the amateur productions, a talented guy was advised to become an actor. He did just that and entered the Sverdlovsk Theater School the first time.
Soon he was drafted into the army, and his studies had to be interrupted. After demobilization, Yushkevich completed his studies, but this was not enough for him. Konstantin packed his things and left to enroll in Moscow GITIS. He succeeded, and the guy was immediately enrolled in the second year (Mark Zakharov’s workshop). In 1996, he received a diploma from a prestigious institute.
Childhood years are wonderful
Little Kostya was born into a family of ordinary Soviet engineers in September 1969 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). His parents had nothing to do with cinema; they were proud of their profession and tried to instill this love in their son. But the heir did not express any desire to continue the family tradition.
Having become a schoolboy, the future actor Konstantin Yushkevich became a rebel. The boy did not manage to sit until the end of the lessons calmly. But he turned out to be a rather intelligent rebel: the boy never behaved like a hooligan or disrupted his lessons. Kostya preferred to play pranks on his classmates and teachers. It was for such antics that he was under the personal control of the director.
Yushkevich’s parents often listened to teachers’ monologues about their son’s behavior. There was even a separate diary in which teachers noted the boy’s behavior after the end of each lesson.
Theater
Immediately after GITIS, Konstantin Yushkevich entered Lenkom, where he worked for seven years. Although he never had to play significant roles on the stage of this theater, the artist does not consider this time wasted, since he gained experience from Alexander Abdulov, Alexander Zbruev, Oleg Yankovsky and other masters of his craft.
Then director Viktor Shamirov attracted the actor to the independent theater project enterprise, where modern plays were staged. Since then, Konstantin has been constantly collaborating with Shamirov.
The audience fell in love with Yushkevich for the performances: “They shoot driven horses, don’t they?”, “Game of Truth” and, of course, for the famous production “Ladies' Night. Only for women”, ending with a striptease performed by the main characters, played by Gosha Kutsenko, Marat Basharov, Konstantin Yushkevich and Euclid Kyurdzidis.
The artist recalls: “In fact, it was terrible at first, when we just came out with this new, not yet mastered format of the show, with harsh dialogues... And when we were preparing for the project, the costume designer brought us these flowered thongs so that we could get to them got used to it, got used to it... I remember how I brought them home, showed them to my wife, said that I was getting ready for a new job... But most of all I was afraid of how my parents would react when they saw the performance, but they laughed a lot.”
In addition, Yushkevich is involved in productions of the Theater. Mossovet and the Contemporary Entreprise Theater.

Height, weight, age. How old is Konstantin Yushkevich
From the first appearance of the movie star on the silver screen, a large number of lovers of Russian cinema fell in love with him. From that time on, every work of the artist was met with constant interest. And the man himself became one of the sex symbols. Fans can definitely answer what his height, weight, and age are. How old is Konstantin Yushkevich is easy to calculate, knowing the year of his birth. He is currently going to celebrate his 50th birthday. This significant date will be celebrated in 2020.
Konstantin Yushkevich, whose photos in his youth and now are not much different, is bright, charismatic, promising and incredibly talented. He invariably appears on the silver screen with a smile that drives his millions of fans crazy.
The film actor is tall. With a height of 190 cm, his weight is 95 kg. Every day a man starts his day with exercises and a contrast shower. Then Konstantin has a hearty breakfast and goes to work. Yushkevich ends the day by reading a good book or in the evening with close people.
Cinema
Konstantin Yushkevich made his film debut in the 1990s, but his roles were insignificant. Since the early 2000s, his acting career began to rise. He starred in popular TV series: “On the Corner of the Patriarchs”, “Turkish March”, “A Man’s Work”, “Detectives”. In 2003, she was approved for the role of a lover in the film “Ice.” The plot of the film touched on the sensitive topic of homosexuality.
"Savages"
In 2006, Viktor Shamirov’s film “Savages” was released, based on a real story from his life. He invited participants in the play “Ladies Night, for Ladies Only” to play the main roles: Konstantin Yushkevich, Marat Basharov, Gosha Kutsenko and Evclid Kyurdzidis. [/anchor]Vladislav Galkin[/anchor] and Alexey Gorbunov organically complemented such a wonderful one.
The genre of the film was designated as a comedy, although it is not a comedy in its entirety. This light picture about a midlife crisis with subtle humor and deep philosophical meaning brought Yushkevich his first real success.
"Plan b"
The next significant role for the actor was the action movie “Plan B”, in which he played a successful businessman Artem Kopylov, owner of a restaurant chain. The hero of Konstantin Yushkevich turned out to be very multifaceted and ambiguous. He achieved everything in his life on his own, which is why he is demanding of those around him. He is also arrogant and even has some degree of delusions of grandeur. However, at one point in his life everything changes. He is “framed” by his partner, and Kopylov loses almost everything. To survive, he must not only fight his enemies, but also himself. As a result, he will return to business, but as a different person.
“My character is smart,” says the artist. – He plays chess very well, he needs to put everything on the shelves, and everything should be clear. “Plan A” is the usual course of events, this is “life according to all the rules”, “Plan B” is a fight without rules. Throughout the film, he changes not only externally (they changed my makeup), but also internally. I couldn’t call this character positive or negative.”
"Stories"
2011 was a particularly successful year for Yushkevich. He starred in the mystical drama directed by Mikhail Segal “Stories” in the role of the editor-in-chief. The manuscript of a young writer ends up in a literary publishing house and begins to influence the life of anyone who opens it and reads even a page. The four stories from the manuscript are four stories with an unpredictable outcome, four film genres: absurdist comedy, social satire, thriller, melodrama.
"Exercises in beauty"
In the same year, Konstantin made his debut as a producer and screenwriter in the ironic comedy “Exercises in Beauty.” The actor also played one of the main roles in it. The film is an adaptation of the theater production of the same name. This film, directed by Viktor Shamirov, was noted by film critics at the Kinotavr-2011 festival and received several awards.
The plot centers on a Moscow theater troupe consisting of four artists and their administrator. Having quickly rehearsed a new production, the actors go on a tour of Russian cities. The audience will fully see all the details of behind-the-scenes life - rehearsals and expectations from the performance, disputes with the administrator and with each other, evening feasts and hangover trips, short-term affairs and long-standing grievances.
"Game of Truth"
In another film by Viktor Shamirov, “The Game of Truth,” Konstantin Yushkevich got the role of the respectable family man Gena. The heroes of the film start a game, during which they learn a lot of unexpected things about each other.
When asked by a journalist whether the actor himself would agree to play the truth with his loved ones, Yushkevich replied: “As the hero Gosha Kutsenko said: “What are you doing? This is dangerous! In fact, such a game could end up in crime news reports. The film is based on a play by the famous French director and playwright Philippe Lellouche, but the director and we, actors Irina Apeksimova, Dmitry Maryanov, Gosha Kutsenko and I, reworked it: we came up with names for the characters and transferred to the screen stories that once happened to us. Well, we gave free rein to our imagination... Our story is about that difficult period when you turn around, look at your life, and see that it is very different from the one you dreamed of when you were 17...
I got the role of Gena by accident. There was no distribution; we drew lots. I came across a character who, like me, has been married since his student years. This is probably where our similarities end. You know, there is a demon in all people that can be released. I enjoy playing Gena. In my own way, I feel sorry for him, his cunning, stitched with white thread, makes me laugh. By the way, I have often met people similar to him, and for some reason in the auto business, an industry where you need to sell in any way.”
"Shuttle girls"
One of the latest works of Konstantin Yushkevich is the social drama “Shuttle Women”. He got the role of Mikhail Rodionov, a former officer and military supply. This loving, jealous, caring husband is ready to go to court for the well-being of his loved ones. He is sensitive to the fact that his wife, having become a shuttle operator, turns out to be the main breadwinner of the family.
The film stars: Maria Poroshina, Elena Panova, Irina Rozanova, Svetlana Ivanova, Zoryana Marchenko, Vladimir Epifantsev, Yuri Tsurilo, Ilya Sokolovsky, Tatyana Agafonova, Makar Zaporozhsky, Vadim Kolganov.
"Sklifosovsky"
Viewers are looking forward to the continuation of the popular series “Sklifosovsky”. Many people watch this melodrama not only because of their favorite Maxim Averin, but also because of Yushkevich’s amazing performance in the role of traumatologist Sergei Kulikov.
The action of this melodrama takes place in the legendary Sklifosovsky Institute. The emergency room team has a busy day. There are no planned patients, long meetings and time to prepare for surgery. The right decision must be made in a matter of minutes - a person’s life is at stake. The heroes face difficult challenges: working to the limit of their capabilities, difficult relationships with each other and exciting love stories.
The artist’s filmography includes films of various genres. He plays in action films, detective films, melodramas, historical films, and comedies.
Brothers or namesakes?
Actor Yushkevich Sergei and Konstantin Yushkevich are brothers or just namesakes? This question has long been of interest to viewers who enjoy watching films in which these talented and impressive men starred. The films that both Yushkevichs worked on are equally interesting, because among them there are those that are reviewed many times: “Lawyers”, “Starfish Cavaliers”, “Five Steps on the Clouds”, “House with No Exit”, “Redhead”.
Actor Sergei Yushkevich and Konstantin Yushkevich did not meet on the set. The only exception (and even then with great stretch) is the series “Always Say Always”. But even during this work they were not in the same frame. Because their characters did not touch each other according to the script.
Actor Yushkevich Sergei and Konstantin Yushkevich are brothers, so to speak, only in the acting department. But this has its own charm, because without knowing whether there is a relationship between these two men, you involuntarily want to compare them both externally and from a professional point of view.
Personal life
Konstantin Yushkevich has been married for a long time and is happily married. He met his soulmate Olga at the theater school in Sverdlovsk. The couple quickly formalized their relationship.
For an actor, family is of great importance. The couple have two children - Evdokia and Ekaterina. Konstantin talks about his daughters with great love: “In character they are the complete opposite of each other. Dusya is a romantic blonde, Katerina is a fighting girl, she definitely won’t let herself be offended. Unfortunately, I'm not a very good dad: I spend too little time with my children. But when we have it, we definitely go with them to have fun at the water park, roller skating...”

In 2000, the wife of Konstantin Yushkevich gave birth to a child for her beloved chosen one - a daughter, whom the newly made parents decided to name Evdokia. Five years later, the woman gave birth to a second child, also a daughter. This time the couple settled on the name Ekaterina. The girls study well in the English-French school. It is also known that they managed to inherit the creative abilities of their parents: the eldest heiress has already tried her hand at acting, and the youngest has the gift of making the audience laugh.
In his free time from work, Yushkevich prefers to go hunting or fishing, but due to workload, he rarely gets to do what he loves. The couple have a house in the Vologda region, where they occasionally come on vacation. From time to time you can find photos of the actor on the Internet in which he is captured in the company of his relatives. At the same time, photos appear more often on the Internet in which Yushkevich appeared before fans in one or another creative image.
Interview
About the spouse:
“I am a monogamous person,” admits Konstantin. — Olga and I have been married for more than 20 years, she is my best friend. We met while studying in our native Yekaterinburg, at a theater school. I looked at her for a long time, she was a serious girl. I returned after the army (back then students were taken to serve) to take someone else’s course. And only a year and a half later everything started to work for us. It was a difficult time - the early 90s. We got married. The wedding was very modest, at my home. Someone gave Olya a very beautiful white dress to wear for one evening, and I put on a suit that I bought with coupons at a bridal salon. It didn’t go well with yellow boots, but I didn’t have any others. After graduating from college, they organized their own theater, but less than a year later it happily collapsed. And then, instead of a honeymoon, we went to conquer Moscow. At first we lived with friends. I entered GITIS, under Mark Zakharov, straight into my second year. Olga did not dare to study anymore and worked in small municipal theaters. Over time, they began to invite her to other cities, but she didn’t go anywhere, she stayed with me. Now my wife works in the children's department of Mosconcert.
About daughters:
“We have two girls: Evdokia and Ekaterina. They were born already in Moscow. Why did you name your daughters that? When I was older, there were no other options - I always liked the name Dusya. And Katya was called that by her sister. We thought and decided for a long time. One day I come to pick up Evdokia at kindergarten, and the teacher smiles: “Well, congratulations, they named the baby Katya.” - “Why,” I ask, “Katya?” - “So Dusya said.” We stopped there. Evdokia has already acted in films with Andrei Krasko in his latest film “I Stay”. I remember that it was not I who took her to the premiere, but she who took me. The daughters study at an Anglo-French school. I don’t know yet who they will become. When they grow up, let them decide for themselves.”
About intimate:
“It is generally accepted that sex gradually fades into the background in a long marriage. But I don’t think so,” the actor smiles. - This is at 20 years old, when you just got married, you need to solve a bunch of everyday problems and there’s not much time to be alone. Of course, over the years, everything happened to us, but we never thought about divorce. I cannot say that I am a very amorous person. It happens that you like a woman, especially an actress with whom you play. After all, it’s difficult to get into character without feeling sympathy for your partner. But there is work, and there is life. I clearly share this, as they say, “there will be no continuation of the banquet.”
About working at Lenkom:
“I devoted almost ten years to this theater, then left,” said Konstantin. “It was difficult at first. Young actor, nothing to eat - Snickers and a bagel for the whole day. And I still felt euphoria, and not because I was given something to play, but simply absorbed like a sponge from eminent colleagues. Nearby are the following personalities: Abdulov, Yankovsky, Bronevoy, Zbruev. Although Lenkom is a strange theater. There are very expensive performances, not a single one goes through, but they rarely take place. It is clear that if you got the main role, the day after the premiere you became a star. But I never became Zakharov’s favorite actor.”
About acting temptations:
“My profession is strange for a man,” says Yushkevich. “You have to like an actor, it’s hard to get used to.” I don’t have any crazy fans who would lie in wait at the entrance and throw themselves into hugs. Although one day after the performance a note came from one spectator: “Can I treat you to dinner?” I showed it to her wife: “See, if you haven’t prepared anything, I can go eat.” They laughed for a long time afterwards. Of course, I’m not going to eat at someone else’s expense, especially a lady’s.”
About bed scenes:
“Offering me a role in the film “Stories,” the producers said that the short story with my participation was the most killer,” the artist noted. — After reading the script, I realized: indeed, at the literary level it is non-trivial, but how to play it? It seems clear: my hero has intelligent conversations during sex with his young lover. There are many questions. But then I met with director Mikhail Segal, trusted him and was right. It turned out interesting. In “Russian Revolt” I also had a frank scene where I played a young Cossack lying in the hayloft with the heroine Ksenia Gromova. We were told to portray violent passion. But the weather was so cold that my glued-on mustache was covered with icicles and I had to constantly change it - there’s no time for passion.”
About income:
“I’m not a cheap actor,” notes Yushkevich. — I bought an apartment, but no country house. I once tried to do business, but quickly realized that it wasn’t for me. For example, while studying at GITIS, I got a job at a company that dealt with New Year's gifts. One day, management decided that the set offered by the factory was unprofitable, and decided to exclude the chocolate egg from the boxes. The whole room was filled with these “kinder surprises”, and as a result they gave me my salary. I had to “cash out”: early in the morning before classes started, I took several boxes and sold them near the metro. But now I am an experienced person. I definitely won’t be left without work!”
About roles, dreams and about myself:
“Not only me, but all actors from 35 to 45 are being pursued by a good policeman. But how many of them have been played both here and in the West. I want to play different roles. Although, if the character is not cardboard, it’s always interesting to play even a good policeman.”
“A lot of what I dreamed about came true. I have a strong, friendly family. I wanted to be in demand in the profession - and I achieved this. True, not right away. I don’t have many roles in feature films, but I’m not ashamed of the ones I’ve starred in. These are “Stories” by Mikhail Segal, three films by Viktor Shamirov. I had a difficult history with the theater. At Lenkom, where I served for ten years, I did not always play what I wanted.”
“I am a closed, shy person, it is difficult for me to exist in the proposed circumstances. It’s easier to start from a specific image. Then I feel relaxed on the court.”
“My neighbors in the dressing room at Lenkom came up with the concept of “Yushkevich syndrome.” The thing is, when I have to make an important decision, I always hesitate for a very long time.”
About hobbies:
“I love cars and speed. My dream is to undergo training at an extreme driving school in Karelia.”
The actor loves fishing and relaxing in nature: “I remember how, as a child, my dad took me fishing. I’m from Yekaterinburg, we have amazingly beautiful places, in particular, we went fishing to the Chelyabinsk lakes. We took a tent with us and went ahead with an overnight stay. And this means there were swimming, a fire, fish soup, heart-to-heart conversations... Nowadays it’s not often that we get to go fishing, or even be alone in nature, except that once a year we get out near Vologda, where my wonderful mother-in-law has a house - she’s originally from those places. The benefits of civilization are minimal there, but you don’t pay attention to it, because the beauty around is incredible!”

Daughter of Konstantin Yushkevich - Evdokia Yushkevich
The film actor became a father for the first time in the early 2000s. The parents named the baby Evdokia, like one of the grandmothers. Already in her childhood, the girl actively expressed her opinion. Even lengthy persuasion could not influence her.
The daughter of Konstantin Yushkevich, Evdokia Yushkevich, pleased her parents with her academic success. She could speak French and English perfectly. The girl did not connect her life with the film industry. She entered the faculty that trains translators.
In her free time, Evdokia loves to draw and sing. She plays the piano and guitar very well, and the girl mastered the latter musical instrument on her own.
