Anatoly Aleshin is a Soviet and Russian rock musician. He became famous thanks to his participation in the ensemble “Jolly Fellows”, and since then he has not stopped his creative career.

Childhood and youth

Anatoly was born in 1949 in Moscow. From an early age he felt a craving for music, and at the age of seven he began studying violin at a music school. After brilliantly graduating from music school, he finally decided to enroll in electrical engineering school.

But it was there that the realization came that Anatoly could not live without music.

Family, choice of profession

Andrey Aleksandrovich is a native Muscovite, born on July 7, 1960. My parents did not belong to the bohemian world of art: my father worked at a factory, and my mother was a teacher at school. Andrei, like many boys, dreamed of conquering the sky. His idol was Yuri Gagarin, and in high school the guy firmly decided to become a pilot or astronaut.

We don’t know what prompted Aleshin to change his dream. Perhaps the young man was often told that with such excellent appearance and charm there was a direct path to becoming an artist. In the late seventies he entered GITIS, studied on the course of I. Tumanov and B. Golubovsky. In 1983, Andrei was invited to the Cinema Actor Theater, where he played on stage for seven years.

Creative activity

The musician began his creative path even before entering Gnesinka. He organized the group “Wind of Change”, and also tried his hand at playing various instruments.

Then Anatoly became a member of the “Jolly Fellows” ensemble, where he gained professional experience.

In 1979, the musician joined the Araks group. It was there that the violinist and vocalist Anatoly managed to demonstrate his talent to the maximum.

But in 1982, “Araks” was disbanded, and then Aleshin created the “Stayer” group, which played in the “hard rock” genre.

However, after some time the group's popularity began to decline, and in 1990 Anatoly left for the USA, where he worked with professional rock musicians.

In 2002, the musician returned to Russia and again created a group consisting mainly of young members. The team quickly gained popularity, but did not last long. Aleshin left America only because he was tired of it.

The musician released only two discs: “Crystal and Champagne” (1991) and “Aleshin” (2006).

He studied at the Gnessin Music School, was a musician and leader vocalist of many domestic cult groups and VIA - “Jolly Fellows”, “Flowers”, “Araks”, “Sniper”, “Kinematograph”... His bright creative period is associated with the legendary group “Araks” ", where the violinist and singer came in 1979. It was this group that recorded the songs for the popular rock opera “The Star and Death of Joaquin Murrietta.”

The musician created the music for the song “The Rains Are Noisy” and played hard rock. In the 90s, when the Tender May group reigned in the country, he left for the USA, where he spent 11 years and further improved his musical skills.

In 2002, the musician and singer returned to Russia, and is now successfully going solo.

– Anatoly, you are a very stylish man, and with age you have become even more impressive. What does the concept of “style” mean to you?

– Style is as inseparable a part of a person as his character. Probably this quality was inherent in me. And above all, 39 years of professional activity have left their mark. I have always had a constant need to monitor my form - the stage demands it! That's all my style secrets.

– Some of your colleagues of the same age drank themselves to death, broke down, unable to withstand the turning points of a difficult musical life... After all, the life of an artist involves great stress and stress. And you are in excellent stage shape. Many people admire you while looking at TV. And it turns out you are even more beautiful live!

– You know, for any professional, life lies in the formula: subordination of all your habits to the profession. This is our secret. If you constantly remember this, then all the pitfalls that haunt a person through life can be avoided. As a result, you can live to an “old age” in excellent shape.

– Anatoly, you are a man in the prime of his life! Do you order or buy your elegant clothes?

- Yes, I’m like Carlson! (laughs) When you keep yourself in shape, standard sizes from the store fit. I don't have anything specially made.

– You probably work out at a fitness club?

- Definitely and definitely! The fitness club is the only place where I go with great pleasure. No, I’m lying, my home and stage come first.

“I’ve never seen anyone have such a stylish beard like yours.” Who “made it” for you?

- It was invented by a stylist. But not a glamor star, just an employee of an ordinary hairdressing salon. They had some kind of special promotion there. At first my wife said to me: “Maybe you should grow a beard?” I grew it... She was horrified and carefully asked: “Maybe I should give this beard some shape?” Yes, women know what to do! She and I went to the nearest hairdresser and asked: “Do you have any young barber here?” Precisely young, with a fresh look at the image. And they recommended a 20-year-old boy to us. I asked him: “Make me something alternative!” So he made me such an original beard and I’ve been wearing it ever since. She got used to me, and I got used to her. We have been inseparable for six years now.

– Yes, an interesting color combination – gray hair and black beard. Are you painting it?

- Certainly!

- And it looks natural. What style is your wife in and what attracted you to her in the first place?

“At one time, I was probably attracted to her by her youth. And now we’ve been together for over 30 years – we’re used to it!

– What’s her trick? After all, many of your colleagues get married, divorced, get married and break up again, falling under the hood of young predators. And you remain faithful to a successful marriage.

– It seems to me that the trick lies more in the man than in the woman. I grew up in a complete family. Since then, this is how I imagine my family – husband and wife. My parents were always together, never divorced - my father did not change his wife. Apparently this affected me too.

- Wise! They don’t change horses midstream... And if any conflict situations arise in a relationship, how do you get out of them? What is the secret of a long-term successful union?

– Over the years, spouses get used to each other’s manifestations. But if they want to live together, they find ways to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that arise. I have always said that family life is a compromise. The main thing is to go to it on time.

– Would you like your wife to change her image, or do you always like her anyway?

– Compromise is also important here. I think that the woman you love should be allowed to be what she wants. You shouldn’t “customize” it to suit yourself.

– What should a woman do to always please the man in her life?

– Ladies, often remember yourself as your husband loved you! And try to stay the same. If not externally, then internally...

Personal life

After graduating from the Gnessin Music School, Anatoly met his wife Lyudmila Nikolaeva.

The musician lived with her all his life. He claims that his wife and children occupy a central place in his life. Unlike many show business stars, Aleshin managed to remain faithful to his marriage. He believes that the man is primarily responsible for the integrity of the family. To save a marriage, it is important to compromise.

The performer's eldest son lives in New York, he is engaged in the banking business and is a market analyst. The guy did not follow in his father’s footsteps and is not interested in music, but shares Anatoly’s love for hard rock.

The relationship with my wife has only become stronger. After 11 years they returned to Russia, and now Aleshin performs with the revived Araks group.
