Father - Pyotr Pavlovich Filippov, actor, Honored Artist of the Belarusian SSR. Mother - Lyudmila Pavlovna Krasnoyarskaya (1922-2010), actress.

From an early age she studied music and vocals. She had an excellent voice. She graduated from the theater studio at the Kiev State Operetta Theater with a degree in “Actress of the Musical Comedy Theater.”

Then she entered the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A.V. Lunacharsky (now the Russian Academy of Theater Arts) at the Faculty of Musical Theater, specializing in “Musical Theater Artist”, studied in the workshop of Professor Mikhail Mordvinov, and the vocal teacher was Professor Irina Maslennikova.

Natalya Krasnoyarskaya was preparing for a career as an opera singer, but she became seriously ill and had throat surgery, so she had to forget about her career as a singer. Then she switched to the directing course of Professor Boris Pokrovsky.

In 1975 she graduated with honors from the institute, during her diploma practice she staged a number of performances in musical theaters in Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and Ivanovo, where she was another director for two seasons.

Since 1976 - director of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater. At the same time, she completed an assistantship-internship at GITIS. There she taught acting at the musical theater department.

In 1978-1979, while continuing to work at the Bolshoi Theater, she headed the People's Opera Theater at the Central House of Artists, where, as chief director, she staged productions of the operas “Honor Rusticana” by P. Mascagni and “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo.

In 1980, she was invited to join the theater troupe for the newly introduced position of director in the mime ensemble.

In 1991-1994, being the chairman of the artistic council of the mimansa collective, she was a member of the artistic board of the theater.

In 1983, she made her film debut - she starred in the leading role in the film “Worth Its Weight in Gold” directed by Evgeny Sherstobitov.

In 1981-1994 she collaborated with the Moscow Sphere Theater. She took part in almost all the theater's performances of this period, in particular, in the productions of the theater's chief director, Ekaterina Elanskaya. She also played a number of leading roles.

In 1988, at the Sphere Theater she staged a play based on the play by K. Higgins and J.-C. Carriera "Harold and Maude" (with the participation of national artists Rimma Bykova and Yuri Leonidov), in which she herself played one of the main roles - Mrs. Chasen.

In 1995-2002 she worked in the Moscow drama troupe “Wandering Stars”, staged “Orchestra” by J. Anouilh under the direction of Pavel Tikhomirov (on the basis of the State Central Theater Museum named after A. A. Bakhrushin).

She played small roles in the television series “Law & Order: Crime Branch 2” and “Always Say Always 5.”

She died on April 30, 2020 in Moscow.
