Theater
Having become the owner of a professional actor's diploma, Andrei Senkin first played at the Polesie Drama Theater, then moved to the Minsk Youth Theater, and since 2008 he joined the troupe of the National Academic Drama Theater named after Maxim Gorky.
She also appears on the stage of one of the youngest theaters in Belarus - the Contemporary Art Theater - in the plays “Kinfolk” (Vasenka) and “Figaro” (Cherubino).

Soon Veronica became Andrei Senkin’s wife. From the moment of marriage registration, lovers spend almost all 24 hours a day together. The fact is that they are not just husband and wife, but also colleagues on the theater stage. Sometimes it happens that a married couple works together on the set.

“We are so interested together, I can’t even put it into words. We are still discovering some new interesting things about each other. For example, something comes up from childhood, something from adolescence. In general, we never get bored in each other's company. I can confidently say that I am very lucky with my wife. Veronica is a very kind, bright, sensitive person. We always share new ideas, some unexpected thoughts, inspire and support literally in all endeavors, even if they are completely meaningless.”
Currently, the couple lives in Minsk. They continue to work together on the big stage of the Maxim Gorky Theater, and also make plans for the future. So, the couple began to actively think about adding to the family. They do not have children yet, but both of them are confident that in the near future the public will find out that they have a child.

Cinema
After several debut filming in Russian and Belarusian TV series, Andrei Senkin received the main role of Suvorov Military School cadet Denis Meshko in the crime film “Cadet” (2009). For this work, the young actor was awarded a diploma “For a bright film debut” at the Golden Knight festival.
Then the artist starred in such projects as: the military drama “Brest Fortress”, the historical film “The Hunt for the Gauleiter”, the melodramas “The Witch Doctor” and “At the Crossroads”, the women’s story “Katino’s Happiness”.
The romantic film “One Never Parts with Your Loved Ones,” the melodrama “Broken Threads,” the continuation of the famous TV series “State Border,” and the family saga “Against All Odds” with the actor’s participation were very successful among television viewers.
Then the detective story “Barista” and the melodramas “Where the Rains Go”, “For a Better Life”, and “Evil Fate” were released, where Andrei Senkin got the main roles.
"Black blood"
One of the actor’s latest works is Alexei Karelin’s drama Black Blood. A film about passionate, uncontrollable, sick and destructive love, which does not obey reason.
Olga and Irina Kotov are sisters living amicably and happily in their village until Vyacheslav, the neighbor’s guy, appears. And they both fall in love with Slava, at first sight. Slava chooses Irina, and Olga takes a desperate step - she turns to the local witch Glafira for a love spell. Glafira warns that the “Black Blood” potion will change the life of the entire family, and Olga’s short female happiness threatens to turn into a curse for the entire clan, from which it will be almost impossible to get rid of it. It will only be lifted by the death of a loved one.
But Olga's love is blind, and the love spell works. The witch's prophecies come true - one after another, the sisters lose loved ones, and their children cannot find happiness in love. How many trials will the large family have to endure until they get rid of the curse, and was it really witchcraft?
The film also stars: Maria Poroshina, Tatyana Kolganova, Daria Shcherbakova, Oleg Almazov, Alexey Koryakov, Pyotr Barancheev, Alexey Demidov, Evgenia Nokhrina.

Personal life
Andrei met his wife, actress Veronika Plyashkevich, at the National Academic Drama Theater. Gorky.
Veronica recalls: “How did we meet? He came to the theater when I was already working there. I remember being incredibly impatient to finally see him and meet him. I heard more about Andrey, they whispered about him on the sidelines of the theater - he was new, and it’s always interesting what kind of person he is.
But I still couldn’t get a good look at him until he himself walked into our dressing room. And here we are together - I don’t know what else I can add here, I’m overwhelmed with feelings, unexpected words, thoughts, inspiration, drive, sheer positivity...
Andrey is a great gift of fate, the most grandiose event in my life. I understand that there is no person dearer and closer than my husband. Only in a family is selflessness, endless trust, honesty, true love, and sincere feelings possible. I live by this. I try to convey this with every step I take on stage.”
Andrey and Veronica not only play together on the stage of their favorite theater, they often act together in the same films and TV series.
Childhood and youth
From a young age, he was torn between two poles: sports and art. On the one hand, children's hockey, on the other, a music school and ballroom dancing. Both there and there he achieved tangible success, but then acceleration took its toll: in one summer the student grew so much that he outgrew all his partners, and he had to give up dancing.
After his parents divorced and his father left, Andrei, in order to help his mother, mastered the profession of a plumber and began to earn extra money. And all this time, the theater, the acting profession, remained his secret dream, presented in his imagination as some kind of shining, unattainable peak.
Due to lack of faith in his own abilities, Andrei did not even try to enter a theater university. He entered MATI with difficulty, but still graduated and received a diploma in aircraft engineering.
Andrey Sokolov
In 1986, Andrei decided “now or never”, submitted documents to the famous “Pike” and got in on the first try, despite the crazy competition. About the beginning of a film career:
“My acquaintance with cinema began with Nechaev’s films “Pinocchio” and “Little Red Riding Hood.”
“Even when I was studying, there was a casting for the film “The Maroon Beret.” I came, talked to the director, and they immediately told me that I would be filming. I didn’t even understand how to perceive it all, because it was all unexpected for me. And after that, again, the film “Belarusfilm” “Cadet” - and then everything went from there.”
