Anton was born in the Far East in the family of two “techies”. The future musician’s father worked as an electronics engineer in one of the computer centers in Magadan, and his mother taught computer science at school. In addition to the boy, his elder sister Lilia was also raised in the family.
As the youngest child, Anton was forgiven for many pranks. His relatives looked at his tricks condescendingly, especially since the boy was often sick. His talent for music was discovered very early. Having barely learned to walk, Anton one day wandered into the kitchen and, using pots, pans and other kitchen utensils, built himself a “drum set”, on which he beat with spoons and ladles. The child liked this activity so much that the kitchen became a playroom for him.
Perhaps in other families such mockery of dishes would be considered blasphemy, but in the Belyaev family they acted differently - as soon as their son was five years old, the boy was enrolled in a music school .
At first Anton was overjoyed, but soon the joy gave way to disappointment - only those who were already nine years old were allowed to play percussion instruments there. And all the younger students had to learn a different instrument. At the family council they agreed that it would be a piano. For the sake of playing drums, Anton agreed to hit the keys for four years.
Personal life
The musician is married to Yulia Markova, with whom he got married in early 2012. The girl is engaged in journalistic activities and worked in various newspapers. For the last few years he has been the manager of Anton's musical group.
In May 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, son Semyon. Anton himself announced this on his Instagram account. After the birth of his son, the musician wrote a lullaby for him called “Undercover.” Currently, Anton spends more time with his family.
Musician with poor behavior
However, playing the piano captivated the boy so much that he forgot about drumsticks forever. Many years later, Anton Belyaev will tell journalists that one day he got so carried away playing the keyboard instrument that he felt his dream come true.
His music lessons did not go unnoticed by the teachers - the talented boy was often sent to various competitions, from where he always returned with some kind of prize. But in the secondary school, things were not so successful. Of all his school lessons, Anton diligently studied only English, and in the ninth grade he was expelled from the gymnasium for bad behavior.
Having said goodbye to school, Belyaev took the documents to the music school, where he entered without the slightest problem. But soon he was kicked out from there too - Anton did not have exemplary behavior, and he also became interested in jazz, which local teachers did not encourage. To receive the coveted certificate of secondary education, I had to return to one of the secondary schools.
Popularity
In 2013, Anton decided to try to take part in the famous project “The Voice”. He passed the audition without any problems and got into the project. Then he decided to perform the world famous song “Wicked Game”. Despite the fact that Anton failed to win the project, he still became popular. This contributed to the development of the musician's career.
Anton became the TV presenter of the music program “Red Star”. A year and a half after participating in the project, he was invited as a music producer to the “Main Price” project. However, despite many different projects, Anton does not give up the musical field. Several years ago he was writing the soundtrack for the film “Voices of a Big Country.” He also participated in creating music for the play “The Returned”.
Finding yourself
After graduating from school, Anton went to Khabarovsk, where he entered the Institute of Arts and Culture in the jazz department. From the first year I became so passionate about my studies that I even earned an increased scholarship. Unlike school, at the institute he was an exemplary student. Belyaev received a diploma of higher education in 2002.
While still a student, Anton worked part-time in nightclubs in Khabarovsk and Magadan, and after graduating, some time later he received an offer from the Rus club to become its art director. In addition to his immediate responsibilities, Belyaev also received the opportunity to create his own team, which he did without delay. This is how the group “Therr Maitz” appeared in his biography, in which he became the frontman, composer and arranger.
Having become a celebrity in the Far East, Belyaev ventured to conquer Moscow. At first, in Belokamennaya he worked as an arranger for Nikolai Baskov, Maxim Pokrovsky, Polina Gagarina, Tamara Gverdtsiteli and other famous performers. Such an activity was just a means to earn money, and the soul of the musician strived for his own music.
Having improved his financial situation, Belyaev resumed his creative career, recruiting a new line-up “Therr Maitz” . After several rehearsals, the group began active concert activity. Anton wrote music, played the keyboards and performed songs. Soon the band, specializing in jazz, became popular among fans of this musical genre.

Anton Vadimovich Belyaev was born on September 18, 1979 in Magadan. By that time, the Belyaev family already had a daughter, Lilia, 11 years older than her brother.
The future musician’s mother, Alfina Sergeevna, was a computer science teacher, and his father, Vadim Borisovich, worked in a computer center.

However, then, as a child, Anton was not upset for long, because he fell in love with the piano, began to participate in competitions and even won many of them. Belyaev had a special passion for the jazz genre.

However, the boy was so consumed by his love of music that it affected his studies at school, and absences due to illness also played a role. After the eighth grade, Anton was expelled from a secondary educational institution.
Belyaev still managed to get a certificate at another Magadan school, after which he entered a music school to study piano. However, Anton did not study there for long - he was expelled allegedly for being too interested in jazz.
Early life and Therr Maitz group
At the age of 17, Belyaev moved to Khabarovsk and became a student at the local Institute of Arts and Culture, and he chose the direction that he loved so much - the jazz department.
This time the young man was luckier than at school - Anton was awarded an increased scholarship for his achievements in music.
Belyaev graduated from university in 2002, after which he performed for some time in nightclubs in Magadan and Khabarovsk.
In one of these entertainment establishments in 2004, he received the position of art director. At the same time, the group Therr Maitz was born, where Belyaev was the frontman.
Two years later, Anton decided that he had outgrown the scale of the Far East, and went to conquer the Moscow musical Olympus.
In the capital, Belyaev worked for some time as an arranger for recognized show business stars, in particular, Max Pokrovsky and Nikolai Baskov.
When Anton more or less found his feet in the metropolis, he revived the Therr Maitz group, albeit with a different line-up.
Now the team consists of soloist Victoria Zhuk, drummer Boris Ionov and guitarists Nikolai Sarabyanov and Artem Tildikov.
The band's repertoire mainly includes jazz compositions. Anton and his team are residents of the Jazz Parking project.

“The Voice” and the rise of his career
In 2013, Belyaev decided to make himself known throughout the country and chose the format of the popular music show “The Voice” for this.
The talented young man successfully passed the “blind auditions” stage, performing Chris Isaac’s song “Wicked Game”.
Belyaev sang so convincingly and soulfully that all the mentors turned to him, but he chose Leonid Agutin. The fact that both musicians love the same genre - the same jazz - also played a role in this.
However, Anton continued the competition, as it happened, in Pelageya’s team. The young man couldn’t win “The Voice,” but he reached the semifinals, and most importantly, the whole of Russia learned about him.
It is interesting that Belyaev often accompanied himself during his performances, and his mascot, a stuffed donkey, was always on the piano.
Anton began to be invited to film various television shows. So, in 2013, he hosted one of the editions of the “Red Star” hit parade, and in 2015 he became a music producer on the “Main Stage” show.
Belyaev was nominated for the GQ magazine “Man of the Year 2015” award among musicians, and the following year he was included in the top 100 most stylish men according to the same publication.

Creation
In 2006, the guy moved from Khabarovsk to the capital to actively pursue a musical career. In Moscow, he is looking for new musicians for his group and gives his first concerts. In the team, Anton does not only vocals. He also serves as a composer and keyboard player. Over time, the band's lineup increased, a second vocalist and additional guitarists were found.
During its existence, the band recorded and released four albums. Some tracks were recorded abroad in one of the studios where The Beatles previously created their hits. Today the group is popular among fans of jazz music. That's why Therr Maitz manages to fill the halls during concerts.
Stronghold of the hearth
To the disappointment of his fans, Anton Belyaev long ago found family happiness. He met his future wife Julia completely by accident. One day, the musician was returning from a friend’s wedding and on the way home he stopped at a cafe. There he saw a girl with whom he fell in love at first sight. The next day, he invited a new acquaintance to his concert, and then a candy-flower period began in the lives of the young people. Yulia Markova became the wife of the popular performer in 2012.
Anton’s wife has nothing to do with the world of art - she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and worked for some time in the print media. Later she switched to television. Now Yulia Belyaeva works as an editor at Europa Plus TV and helps her husband develop the Therr Maitz project, acting as a manager.

The talisman that often accompanies Anton is a toy donkey, this is his gift to his wife.
Besides music, Anton has other hobbies. He loves cycling and watching Hollywood movie premieres.
