From early childhood it became clear that Alexander truly had a “humanitarian soul.”
Already during his school years, Dedyushko performed with dance ensembles, played in skits, and unusually recited poetry. That’s why the decision was made to go to Moscow and enter the acting department. But immediately after school, the future actor did not manage to enter the desired university. Alexander didn’t have time, he simply didn’t know what “actor” exams were and that they were held early. Therefore, then the young man got a job as a car mechanic for a year. And then he joined the army. He was drafted for three years into the Baltic Fleet.
“For me personally, nothing terrible happened in the navy; of course, hazing already happened then. During their service, a lot of orders were issued regarding capital punishment for those who cruelly abused recruits,” says Alexander Dedyushko about his life in the army.
A real man
Immediately after demobilization, Dedyushko left for Moscow. But this time it turned out that the entrance tests to the theater had long since passed. Then the future actor got a job in the ZIL workshop as a physical engineer. Alexander’s physical fitness has always been at the highest level; the young man at school competed for the national team in literally all sports. It is not surprising that during the year of his work, Dedyushko rose from twelfth to third place. By the way, the actor especially loved to play football. And later, having already achieved a lot in his career, he played for the “Serial” team of the Film Actors Guild.

In the Vladimir theater, the career of the Belarusian actor developed rapidly. They began to trust Dedushko with the main roles. But Alexander dreamed of conquering Moscow, which rejected the actor twice.

At the age of 33, Dedyushko got a job at the Moscow Art Theater of Oleg Efremov. But, unlike Vladimir, his career stalled here: the artist was trusted with tiny roles. Therefore, Alexander decided to break into cinema.
The cinematic biography of Alexander Dedyushko began in 1990 with an episode in Gleb Panfilov’s film adaptation of “Mother,” where the main role was played by Inna Churikova. Dedushko appeared in the image of a revolutionary worker. Only seven years later, the artist appeared on the big screen again, now in the projects “The Thief”, “The Barber of Siberia”, “D.D.D. Detective Dubrovsky's file." In addition to working in cinema and theater, the artist did not shy away from making money in advertising.
The actor got his first serious work in the late 1990s, when “gangster” TV series became fashionable. Dedushko was entrusted with a key role in the film “Death Directory”. This film became a turning point in the artist’s career. The directors finally saw the talent and began bombarding him with offers, each of which turned out to be more significant than the previous one.

In the acclaimed comedy “DMB” the artist already got a supporting role. Viewers saw Dedyushko for the first time in the guise of a patrol chief. This was followed by roles in the top-rated crime films “Turkish March”, “On the Corner of the Patriarchs-2”. The artist played laconic roles, most often they were bandits, bodyguards, operatives or military personnel. In the 2002 cult blockbuster “Brigade,” the artist tried on the image of a secret service officer.
In the same year, work followed in the crime action film “Doll”, where Dedyushko got the main role of the private detective Joker, who is conducting his own investigation into the contract murder of journalist Kozlov (Oleg Zamyatin). The reporter paid for exposing the criminal schemes of oligarchs and politicians in his own articles. In the film, the artist performed on an equal footing with other leading actors, Russian cinema stars Sergei Shakurov and Igor Bochkin.
In the same year, Dedyushko starred in the TV series “Defense Line”, “A Man’s Work 2”, “Special Forces”. In the film “Black Ball,” Alexander appeared in a new role for himself as a coach of a children’s football team.

In 2003, the finest hour came for the Belarusian actor. In Dedyushko’s filmography, a significant leading role appeared in the film “Operational Alias.” Alexander reincarnated as Sergei Lapin, who, after an accident, turns from a semi-marginal character into a unique specialist in security systems. At the same time, unknown people begin to hunt for the main character.
At the same time, the actor starred in the children's adventure film “The Secret of the Blue Valley” in the company of young artists Anna Ardova, Anna Tsukanova-Kott, Makar Zaporozhsky. A year later, work followed in the action films “Assassination” and “Sarmat,” which added to Alexander’s national fame.
In these films, the talented Belarusian played heroes who immediately won the hearts of the audience - brave, noble and courageous. After working in the TV series “Officers” with Vasily Lanov in the leading role, the actor got into the top-rated action movie “Alias Albanian” about the Soviet killer Viktor Albantsev, who, after the collapse of the country, decides to give up the past and start a peaceful life, but the new masters of life decide to attract the major to your side.

Many people told him that there is a very strong theater school here. The young man entered the Nizhny Novgorod theater school and graduated after three and a half years. Afterwards, he worked for half a year at the Minsk Theater, and for the next six seasons he appeared on the stage of the Vladimir Theater. It is worth noting that in the performances of the last theater Alexander had more main than minor ones. At the “biblical” age, at 33 years old, Alexander Dedyushko began to storm Moscow. He got a job anywhere, even at the Moscow Art Theater of Oleg Efremov. But there the career did not take off. The actor was not offered roles higher than a waiter and work with texts in the style of “Eating is Served.” After that, Alexander began acting in commercials and extras. Then he got a cameo role in the army comedy “DMB”. The young man played the patrol chief. And soon the first serious role arrived. She was in the Death Directory.
At the end of the 90s, the year when the binge of Russian “special forces” series began, Alexander Dedyushko’s work increased. And not surprisingly, the actor’s texture is the most suitable. Alexander Dedyushko was born in May 1962 in the Belarusian city of Volkovysk, in the family of engineer Viktor Petrovich Dedyushko. The boy's name in Belarusian was Alexander Viktaravich Dzyadzyushka.
The family realized early on that the artist was growing. The boy danced with pleasure, participated in school skits and recited poetry. Therefore, the parents supported their son when he decided to enter a theater university. To do this, Alexander Dedyushko went to Moscow, but there it turned out that the exams were already over. Alexander didn’t want to return home with nothing, so the young man got a job as a car mechanic at one of the service stations.

The following year, Alexander Dedyushko was advised not to enter the capital’s theater school, but to go to Nizhny Novgorod, whose theater school was no less famous. The future actor easily entered drama school. After 3 years, I received a diploma and went to take my first steps in the profession in my native Belarus. Here the artist appeared on the stage of the Minsk theater for six months, but then moved to Vladimir.

Alexander Dedyushko was married twice. The first chosen one was classmate Lyudmila Tomilina; they married in 1986, and five years later a daughter, Ksenia, was born into the family. Since Lyudmila and Alexander lived and worked in different cities, which resulted in a divorce. The daughter was very offended by her father.
At the end of 1996, Dedyushko met on his way the young actress of the Vladimir Theater Svetlana Chernyshkova, and three months later the lovers were already living together. The wedding celebration took place on June 3, 1999, and in September of the same year they became the happy parents of their son Dmitry.
Death
The life of the young acting couple ended overnight on November 3, 2007.
That day, Alexander Dedyushko, his wife and 8-year-old Dmitry were driving their Toyota along the Moscow-Ufa federal highway. At the 109th kilometer in the Vladimir region in the Petushinsky district, the actor’s car drove into oncoming traffic (for an unknown reason) and collided with a Scania heavy truck. The actor, his wife and son died instantly from their injuries. In life, on the set, Alexander Dedyushko was on the verge of death more than once. Friends say that the actor was very fond of night driving. He sometimes drove somewhere, being very tired. Twice he fell asleep at the wheel, his car even skidded into a ditch. He received bruises, but remained alive. And for the last time he set out on the road without sleep. He flew at high speeds.
In memory of the actor and his family On the eve of the tragedy, Alexander worked on the set of the film “Albanian - 2”. And on the last day of filming, an unpleasant situation occurred on the set. They were just filming a stunt scene. There, Dedushko and the stuntman were on the road, a car was approaching them and tried to hit them both. During the rehearsal, everything went well, but when the cameras turned on, the car managed to drive far and pick up a decent speed. Alexander then managed to jump away from the car, but the stuntman was blown away like a straw. The young man was hospitalized with a skull fracture.
And before the “motor” Dedyushko told the director that it was not worth driving far. After the command, he wanted to say that the speed was too high, but he resisted, believing that he was interfering with his own business. Then I reproached myself for a long time for not intervening.

The actor died in a car accident on November 3 2007

The tragedy occurred at 22:15 on the 109th kilometer of the Moscow-Ufa highway, at a gas station outside the village of Omutishchi near the city of Petushki in the Vladimir region. Driving a Toyota Picnic, Dedyushko crossed two solid lines and drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Scania truck on the far left lane. Alexander, his wife and son died on the spot. The impact was so strong that the Toyota Picnic turned into a pile of twisted metal.
The traffic police officers who arrived at the scene could not immediately identify Dedyushko’s family, since there were no documents or anything else in the burnt car that could identify them. However, Dima was found to have a mobile phone with a number designated as “aunt” in it. The number belonged to Svetlana’s sister, Anna. Half an hour later the whole country knew about the disaster.

Conquest of the capital
The following summer, Alexander was again unlucky to get into the acting department. In 1980, the Olympics were held in Moscow, the exams were postponed, and again I had to postpone the realization of my dream. And then the time to join the army came.
For three years he was a sailor in the Baltic Fleet, and for the first time he saw the sea, which made a huge impression on him. I even thought about joining the naval corps, but when I returned home I decided not to do it.
I went to Moscow again to study as an artist. He failed twice in exams for acting universities and was forced to get a job at the Likhachev automobile plant, where Alexander was engaged in sports and mass work.
They paid little for it, so Dedyushko got a job as a driver to earn more. In addition, he also worked part-time. Attempts to enroll in theater schools ended in failure.
And then he was advised to try his hand at Gorky, now Nizhny Novgorod, where there was a strong theater school that gave the world more than one famous artist. They finally accepted the stubborn guy there.
Studying at the Gorky School was not easy, you had to overcome yourself. The fact is that Alexander was very constrained, and the teachers had to spend a lot of effort to free him from his “shell.” Thanks to hard work and self-improvement, results appeared closer to graduation. Dedyushko developed as an artist.
After receiving a diploma, one could have stayed to work in Gorky, after all, a big city, but there was no place for Dedyushko in the theater. In this regard, he completely repeated the fate of Evgeny Evstigneev, who was born here, studied at the same school and also had to look for a job elsewhere. By the way, today the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School is named after E.A. Evstigneeva.
From obscurity to fame
TV series and films with Alexander Dedyushko were released more and more often. The actor played one of the key roles in the crime action film “Doll”. His character is the private detective Joker, who is investigating a contract murder. The victim of the killer was journalist Kozlov. The murdered reporter, in his articles, exposed the criminal acts of prominent politicians and respectable businessmen. Joker is trying to figure out who exactly ordered Kozlov.
Alexander played the roles of tough guys in the TV series “A Man’s Work 2”, “Line of Defense”, “Special Forces”. In the film “Black Ball”, Dedyushko appeared before the audience in an unexpected way - as the coach of a children’s football team.
Carier start
Alexander Dedyushko found use for his acting education at the Vladimir Regional Theater. The situation with housing was unimportant - a room and a communal apartment, but for the most part he had the main roles on stage. But he wanted to reach another level and was looking for ways to do it.
The money I earned was not enough, and I had to look for additional part-time jobs. In the 90s, Alexander began buying and selling. It was convenient that the corresponding company that was doing this was located right in the theater. After rehearsals, Dedyushko was engaged in business. I went to Moscow to buy goods, brought things from Belarus when I visited my mother. So I spun around as best I could.
Then he left for Moscow, where he had to hang around without work and housing. Despite everything, the confidence did not leave him that he would still achieve his goal. I managed to get a job at the Moscow Art Theater with O. Efremov, but I had to play only supporting roles, as they call them: “The food is served!” Alexander worked in this theater for only two years.
He continued to improve himself - he worked out on exercise machines, played the guitar. He didn’t refuse filming where he could make money. These, as a rule, were extras or commercials. He began to be invited to acting roles in films.
