Childhood and youth
Vanya was born on January 19, 1996 in the small village of Alexandria in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The young man’s mother has a degree in economics, and his father is a veterinarian.
In one of his videos, Vanya said that he has sisters - Dasha and Sonya . Now they are also video bloggers.
At school the young man studied excellently. After graduation, Ivan entered Dnepropetrovsk University at the Faculty of Mathematics, however, he never graduated.
According to the blogger, he moved to Japan to receive higher education there. However, Russian names often appear on blogs. In August 2020, information appeared that Ivan had moved to Moscow.
Confession of EeOneGuy
After some time, Ivan remembered the channel and decided to share a recording of a demonstration of his achievements in his favorite game. The Minecraft review and subsequent videos dedicated to the sandbox brought unexpected success. In a short period of time, the guy gained authority among the simulator’s flatterers and became the owner of a colossal number of subscribers, among whom were mainly his peers.
An important role in the development of Ivangay was played by the video blogger MrLolololoshka (Roma Filchenkov). His PR allowed Ivan’s videos to receive a large number of subscribers, who quickly spread the video they liked among themselves. Together, the guys created entertaining recordings in which they sang, danced and fooled around. Partially in their early videos there is an analogy with famous Western bloggers.
Personal life
The guy made a lot of joint videos with his ex-girlfriend Maryana Rozhkova. This blogger couple was the most popular on Russian YouTube.
Many accused Maryana of having a selfish attitude towards the guy , because most of her videos were edited by Vanya. In addition, she gained a lot of subscribers thanks to her relationship with him.
Despite the fact that millions of viewers happily followed the development of the couple, at the end of 2020 the young people broke up. Official reason: “ They didn’t get along ” didn’t quite suit the subscribers.
They immediately created a lot of theories about the reasons for this gap. Maryana, in turn, received a wave of negativity, in connection with which she even shot an emotional video that caused a huge resonance.
Today, Ivan's heart is free. He continues to give his all to his YouTube activities. And the dreams of millions of subscribers about winning the love of a young blogger are now more real than ever.

Rice. 2. Ivangai and Minecraft
From early childhood, the boy was interested in computer games, giving greater preference to the Minecraft simulator. I often visited YouTube, where, watching videos of my peers, I looked for clues to my favorite “sandbox”. Registered under the username EeOneGuy at the age of 13. For some time the boy was only a passive spectator, watching the videos and occasionally expressing his comments.
Gradually, the idea of opening his own channel matured in his head, in which he could find friends and like-minded people who were absent in real life. So, on March 19, 2013, Ivan Gai registered his own, which received a name identical to the previously used nickname.
The first entry was “The Nerd’s Song,” but it did not gain popularity, which became the reason for the temporary suspension of the novice video blogger’s career.
Blogging activities
Vanya created his video blog in March 2013. The channel received the simple name EeOneGuy. During the first 3 years of his activity on YouTube, Vanya managed to overtake the leader of the CIS - Max +100500 in the number of subscribers. In November 2020, the blogger received a diamond button from YouTube for reaching 10 million subscribers. Today, the channel's audience exceeds 11 million.
Like many YouTubers, Ivan started by filming let’s plays. Videos on the game Minecraft were especially popular.
The rest of the channel's content is entertainment videos. Most of the videos have extremely funny titles and are aimed at an audience under 16 years old.
In addition to YouTube, Vanya has an Instagram account. There he posts his personal photos and short videos. At the moment there are already more than 2 million subscribers.
In 2020, Vanya’s popularity stopped growing, since in six months only 7 videos were released on Ivangay’s channel. In June, a video was released where Vanya promised to return to YouTube and delight his fans with new videos.
Biography of Ivangay
Ivangay (EeOneGuy, real name – Ivan Rudskoy) is a famous young “millionaire” video blogger. The young man has been posting his videos on YouTube since 2013. The growth rate of the number of his subscribers is impressive - about 10 thousand users subscribe to his channel every day. The guy is considered one of the highest paid Russian-speaking bloggers.
The real name of the blogger EeOneGuy is Ivan Rudskoy
At the peak of popularity
, more than 8 million users were subscribed to the EeOneGuy YouTube channel
. This is a record by Russian standards. Ivangay was able to beat his colleague, the host of the “+100500” program, Max Golopolosov. According to many publications, he has become the most visited and sought-after video blogger in Russia. It is difficult to calculate the income that his activities bring, it is only clear that the amounts are more than impressive. Ivangay rarely advertises its products, although there are a lot of offers. He explains this by his reluctance to mislead his subscribers.
The video blogger's audience is growing daily
This kind of creativity raises quite controversial opinions. Young people love Ivangay, the older generation criticizes him for his meaningless videos, simple plots and manner of conversation. Be that as it may, Ivangay ranks first among video bloggers; his name has already become a brand.
Ivangay is the most popular video blogger in the CIS. He not only has the largest number of subscribers on Russian-language YouTube, but also continues to be in the top in terms of the rate of increase in the channel’s audience. His entertaining videos have already been loved by more than 10 million people.
More about Vanya Rudsky’s channel
In a short period of time, the blogger gained a huge audience. In 2016, the number of subscribers to his video channel exceeded 10 million people, and received the highest award - a diamond button.
This makes him a leader among other bloggers. He didn’t even yield to blogger and TV presenter Maxim Golopolosov. The young man is at the height of his own fame: they begin to recognize him in public places, invite him to various events, and pay a lot of money for advertising. However, social networks are not dominated by a large presence of advertising, because he does not want to advertise a product that is not interesting to him.
Recently, Ivan has moved away from producing Minecraft videos and began creating short, humorous videos, often accompanied by interesting effects, funny songs and dances, conversations with inanimate objects and conversations with fans, simple magic tricks and tricks. In addition to his personal video channel on YouTube, Ivangay dynamically maintains his “in contact” page, where the number of subscribers has also exceeded millions of people.
In 2020, Vanya moved to the capital of Russia and it was here that he continued to develop his own channel. The young man never graduated from higher education. He abandoned his studies in his second year, trying to devote all his energy and attention to his channel. There is information that in one month in 2020, Ivan was able to earn more than 20 thousand dollars.
Ivan Rudsky's creative process gives rise to incompatible points of view. The younger generation loves Ivangay, adults condemn him because of useless videos, meaningless stories and conversations. No matter how much people loved and scolded Ivan, it was he who took the most important line among all bloggers - YouTubers, and his name became a brand.
Income
However, no matter how idiotic Ivangay’s videos may seem to an adult, this guy earned more than 1.5 million rubles back in 2020. per month (according to KommersantDengi magazine). In addition, he recently starred in Timur Bekmambetov’s film “Hack the Bloggers,” playing himself there.
The enormous popularity of Ivan Rudsky among his peers (mainly school-age girls) and the record number of subscribers for Russia today became the reason that the guy gained fame far beyond the borders of the country. Thus, in 2015, he took part in the filming of YouTube Rewind, collaborated for some time with Lenovo, filming a video advertising the products of a Chinese company, and worked on several videos for other companies.
By the standards of Russian YouTube, Ivangay does not earn that much. In comparison with a number of other bloggers who have a much smaller number of subscribers, the guy is considered practically “in poverty.” The reason for low income is the reluctance to develop oneself in this direction and engage in direct advertising sales. Although for a young guy whose parents own “a couple of rural stores” (according to Ivangay), even this result can be called amazing. It can only be compared with the earnings of top-level Russian football players. At the same time, the blogger behaves much more modestly, does not buy premium cars and deliberately refuses other items of success and self-sufficiency, often used in the countries of the post-Soviet space.
The creator of the Z Agency and the father of Sasha Spielberg, Alexander Balkovsky, recently spoke a lot about the financial carelessness of Ivangay, who relies mainly on royalties for YouTube from Google, claiming that due to the fact that Ivangay does not sell advertising, he loses almost at least half of his income. The guy himself comments on these words that he receives offers, but does not want to advertise products whose quality he himself doubts.
In contact with
In addition to the fact that Ivangay has about three million subscribers on YouTube (as of 2020), he also has more than one million subscribers on the VKontakte social network. Ivan also has an official public page with more than 600,000 subscribers.
In 2020—or, as they say, in 2Q17—some Russian YouTube bloggers, for unknown reasons, stopped or minimized their activity on video hosting. Millions of underage network users lost their idols overnight and asked a reasonable question: what is going on? I found out why popular bloggers among schoolchildren, who earn millions of rubles from their fame, leave YouTube.
“Ivangay left YouTube,” news that struck millions of schoolchildren in August 2020: the most popular Runet blogger Ivan Rudskoy (12 million subscribers) disappeared from social networks for several months and practically stopped publishing videos on his channel. Seriously frightened fans began to scour the Internet in search of any information related to the disappearance of their idol.
After a short search, it turned out that the 21-year-old millionaire chose to leave his successful career as a blogger to study at a Polish university, where he studied computer science and computer technology. The disappointment of fans knew no bounds: requests, entreaties and even threats were used with the call to “continue to cut good content.” “Don’t you think that Ivangai got too greedy and simply began to forget about us?” — desperate subscribers asked each other.
Rudskoy really stopped appearing in the sight of fans. If previously new videos appeared on his channel almost every day, today he uploads them at best once every two months. “We are waiting for the next videos in a year,” viewers note with irony.
His colleagues also spoke about Ivangai’s decision. The blogger, who gained more than 1.7 million subscribers due to the rape scandal of Diana Shurygina, reasonably noted that by deciding to study in Poland, Rudskoy was literally burying his career: “Why would the most popular blogger in the CIS, who can do whatever he wants and earn 5-10 million rubles a month, learn Polish and study at a university? Why couldn’t you hire a personal tutor in Moscow? Some absolute nonsense. He's flushing his career down the toilet."
Nevertheless, Ivangay’s act made many popular bloggers, who were also lucky enough to become millionaires in their early youth, think. His example was followed by Yang Guo (3.7 million subscribers), who reduced the release of videos to once a month, and Rudsky’s ex-girlfriend Maryana Rozhkova (5.4 million subscribers), who announced her departure from YouTube in early November. “Thanks to you [subscribers], I began to understand that I am not some little turd. Thanks for all. “I love you very much,” she wrote and said that she was going to focus on her singing career.
It is worth noting that there is some common sense in Rozhkova’s words. Just four years ago, teenagers who gained sudden popularity happily made videos like “CONDOM CHALLENGE”, “DRAWING MARYANA RO’S POO”, “EATING POO”, but today yesterday’s children find it difficult to force themselves to make faces on camera for the dubious approval of millions of schoolchildren.
The same Rozhkova literally shouts to fans that she has long ceased to be a little girl. Demonstrating her advanced age with all her might, the girl transparently hints to 12-year-old fans about her preferences on Twitter. “My nose itches. Someday you will understand what I’m talking about here,” Maryana Ro boasted, attaching a coconut and nose emoji to the post, as well as a smiling emoticon.

Despite the obvious reluctance to engage in “creativity,” most mature bloggers are not yet ready to completely break with YouTube. First of all, of course, because of the money. It’s no joke - about a million rubles for integration in a video will make any YouTube creator think. For that kind of money, many are ready, for example, to climb into a bathtub with soda, smiling happily.
Of course, on the surface, being a YouTuber sounds like a hassle-free life full of six-figure incomes, fun, and hanging out with the stars. But when every day you have to smear yourself with whipped cream, eat chips at speed and, while drooling, stuff special dilators into your mouth, the idea of giving up everything and moving to Poland will seem like the only right decision.
According to popular American blogger Derek Muller, YouTube is a kind of treadmill. “Even after you become successful, you still have to release new videos. Nobody cares whether you want to do it or not. And our creative wishes do not always coincide with the needs of the audience,” he admits.
Naturally, with the advent of popularity and an increase in income, bloggers are surrounded from head to toe with assistants: producers, managers, cameramen, editors and even co-hosts. Although not a single famous YouTuber has yet managed to find a worthy replacement for himself, even for a short time.
As a result, the blogger finds himself trapped by his popularity: he cannot develop in any direction, rest, or replace himself with a qualified presenter. The only thing that can be done in such a situation is to stop making videos and radically change the type of activity.
The trend of leaving YouTube began in November 2020. Then the most famous Internet blogger, Felix PewDiePie Kjellberg (57 million subscribers), simultaneously with his colleague Casey Neistat (8.2 million subscribers) announced their retirement from video hosting.
Neistat sold his startup Beme (an application for distributing videos and discussing the latest news - approx. Lenta.ru
) for $25 million and led the project to attract an Internet audience to the TV channel. PewDiePie explained his decision by simple fatigue. “I work on the show, I do daily vlogs, I come up with crazy jokes - it’s just all very difficult, I can’t cope with it,” he admitted.
Frame: PewDiePie / Youtube
However, if you go to the channels of Neistat or PewDiePie, you will find that despite loud statements, bloggers publish new videos every day. Apparently, neither new projects nor fatigue could force Internet celebrities to give up the opportunity to earn an extra million.
As for the grown-up Russian bloggers, they can follow the example of their older colleagues who, having achieved popularity on YouTube, went into producing newbies, advertising, organizing blogging festivals and even music. Nevertheless, it is worth remembering that the somewhat retired “old men” became stars already at a conscious age and began outside activities at the age of about 30. It’s scary to imagine what will happen to “adult children” who are accustomed to increased attention and who only know how to compete in putting a condom on their head, eating cookies and bathing in a bath with chips.
