Megan Boone was born on April 29, 1983 in Petoskey, Michigan, USA. However, when Megan was a child, her family moved to The Villages, Florida. The Villages is a quiet area where mostly elderly people live. Boone's parents decided to move there because they wanted to be closer to Megan's grandparents. Boone's grandfather, Harold Gary Morse, was a billionaire and one of the founders of The Villages. And Megan's mother, Jennifer Parr, became his sales director.

Boone studied acting at Bellevue High School, where she graduated in 2001. Megan graduated from Florida State University School of Theater in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
