Childhood and youth

The girl's parents are teachers. The family has three children, besides Oksana, there are two more sons.

The star spent her childhood and youth in her native village. Her parents noticed the girl’s talent already at the age of 3, when little Oksana organized impromptu home concerts, portraying famous pop stars of that time in front of the mirror.

Her daughter's career was given a start by her parents. Noticing the girl’s talent in a timely manner, they sent her to a school for gifted children.

Enjoying music training in lessons, Oksana simultaneously entered a music school. While studying, she sang in the local technical school choir as a soloist. Of course, this could not have happened without the help of his father, who taught at the same technical school, but the then young star gained popularity on her own.

She took part in all school amateur competitions and took first place.

At the age of 8, Oksana became a participant in the Slavic Bazaar competition in Vitebsk.

At the age of 11, the girl was invited to study at the Glinka Music School, but her mother did not want to part with her and did not let her go.

Life declassified the identity of the lead singer of Carla's Dreams, hiding under the mask

The hit of the Moldovan group Carla's Dreams Sub Pielea Mea - Eroina, which conquered the world charts, won the hearts of Russian listeners. Only the lazy did not hum the Romanian “Op eroina” this summer. Op-op heroina.” The outrageous project completely hides the identities of its participants with the help of thick camouflage makeup, which does not allow one to see facial features and facial expressions, as well as dark glasses and hoods on their heads. All participants introduce themselves identically, changing one common name in each host country.

During the four years of Carla's Dreams' existence, not a single journalist was able to reveal the identity of the lead singer. In his interviews, he repeatedly confirmed that the level of secrecy on the project is very high. On tour, musicians always rent several different hotels, confusing the tracks of fans with cameras. Branded makeup is applied independently in rooms or rented apartments, refusing the services of professional makeup artists in order to avoid the slightest possibility of information leakage.

Last week, the group decided to make itself known in the Russian arena by organizing a press tour around Moscow. During this time, the lead singer of the secret project managed to give dozens of interviews to metropolitan radio stations, television channels and Internet portals, in each of which journalists tried to find out at least something about the mysterious Russian-speaking guy. However, not a single attempt to bring the lead singer of the group to light was successful.

In Moscow, the team members chose apartments in two different hotels located on neighboring streets. The band's lead singer lived separately from his musicians in a luxury room in a five-star hotel, booked in the name of one of the band's managers.

Coming to Moscow radio stations and television channels at the pass office, the lead singer of Carla's Dreams introduced himself with the name of one of the project participants - Pietro Catolin. When security officers asked him to provide an identification document, the artist, apologetically, threw up his hands and walked into the studio for the broadcast. If a publication or TV channel was not satisfied with the increased secrecy of a Russian-speaking guy in a mask, the group’s manager offered to record the interview on neutral territory. Having washed off the paint from his face, the celebrity did not appear in public surrounded by his musicians, who, unlike him, do not always wear makeup. The Moldovan star even avoided the company of her own manager, whom fans began to recognize: the men took turns leaving the hotel, meeting later at a designated place.

Despite such a carefully thought-out conspiracy, Life managed to declassify the identity of the lead singer of Carla's Dreams. He turned out to be 31-year-old Andrei Tarus, a former member of the once sensational Moldovan group In Quadro. The version that the lead singer of Carla's Dreams is the same Andrei Tarus, along with many other versions, appeared earlier in the Moldovan press. Journalists even managed to ask the musician this question directly, but the singer stated that he had nothing to do with the mysterious project. In an interview with Life, the lead singer of Carla's Dreams also stated that he was not part of the In Quadro team. And the former members of the Moldovan group In Quadro, in a conversation with Life, only confirmed: the group broke up, Tsarush moved to America, no one maintains contact with him. The student boy band In Quadro, popular ten years ago, was formed by 19-year-old Andrei Tserush. The group did not last long. Fame, money and the attention of thousands of lustful fans turned the guys’ heads so much that, having conquered their native country, they wanted world recognition. However, a miracle did not happen: as soon as they started recording their debut album, the band broke up. While working on the record, the recording studio burned down, and the guys had to return to school. Putting their singing career on hold, they graduated from university and forgot about their stellar student years. Only Andrei Tserush could not come to terms with the sudden end of the artist’s career. In 2012, Tserush resumed work in show business, forming a mysterious project that completely hides the faces of the participants.

In a conversation with Life, a specialist in deciphering facial features, comparing the face of the man in the mask with the face of Andrei Tsarush, said that there is no doubt that this is the same person

— The face shape is absolutely the same. The distance between the mouth and nose is identical. Mouth size, lip shape. The same distance the nose protrudes. Fa-lin lines come from the nose; judging by Chinese physiognomy, they are equally pronounced. The nostrils are defined, the cheekbones are also the same. They even speak the same. This is one hundred percent the same person! There is no doubt! — physiognomist Svetlana Filatova told Life.

In addition to the lead singer of Carla's Dreams, Life reveals the identities of the musicians who arrived in the capital with Andrey. It is noteworthy that, according to Tserush, the project has more than two dozen participants, and a different number of impersonal musicians always appear on stage. Emanuel Masson

Guitarist of the band Carla's Dreams. On his Facebook page, the young man indicates that he works with singer Inna. Octav Capota

Musician of the Carla's Dreams project. On his pages on social networks, the young man hides his place of work. His microblog is replete with family photos with his wife Emanuela and their little son. Catalin Andrei Petre

Drummer of the Carla's Dreams project. The only musician of the group who does not hide his involvement in a secret project in his account. However, the information is available to only 150 subscribers of the artist.

The path to popularity

Being 100% confident in her talent, Oksana herself found a producer and offered him her songs. The starting point of Kovalevskaya’s musical career was the song “Today I came home to my mother” in 2001.

A little later, the album “You’re Already an Adult” was released, which attracted many fans to Kovalevskaya.

At the age of 17, Oksana was invited to the trio “Summer”. But the new soloist of the group could not find a common language with the group. The girls from the group did not like Kovalevskaya. But young, beautiful, full of ambition, Oksana was not going to become a shadow compared to her colleagues. Moreover, she has already recorded a solo album. The manager was unable to reconcile the conflicting members of the ensemble, and this had a bad effect on the trio’s reputation.

A special topic for quarrels was the girl’s desire to sing songs of her own composition. The management did not want to change the repertoire, and Oksana decided to leave the trio.

At one of the concerts at the Reactor club, a young man approached Oksana and introduced himself as producer Alexei Voronov. The girl rejected the offer to join his group, considering it a way to get to know each other.

After leaving the group, Kovalevskaya called Voronov. After passing a symbolic audition, she became the lead singer of the group “Kraski”.

"Paints" in Russia. Eternal change

Immediately after the first success, it was decided to concentrate on the Russian stage. The main forces of the team were devoted to conquering the Moscow audience. When the Belarusian authorities began persecuting some pop artists, including the team of Alexei Voronov, the producer decided to move the office to the Russian capital.

A few years later, Oksana Kovalevskaya left the team. The reason for the time-out was very positive. The lead singer of the group “Kraski” was preparing for the role of a mother. Oksana did not return to the team from maternity leave, but threw all her energy into building her solo career.

She was replaced by a new singer - Ekaterina Sasha. She was soon replaced by the new soloist of the Kraski group, Marina Ivanova. With her arrival, the image of the team was significantly updated. A new program has been recorded.

In recent years, Daria Subbotina has been a soloist in the group. “Kraski” gives more than ten concerts every month, which is definitely the merit of its permanent producer Andrey Voronov. The popularity of the group can be seen in its ratings in the charts and constant sold-out shows.

First success

The singer’s general popularity came with the release of songs from the group “Kraski” on the radio. Andrey Voronov happily accepted Oksana’s songs into the group’s repertoire.

Critics argued that Oksana's songs are meaningless and are empty pop. But the fans decided differently. The singer won the hearts of fans not only in Belarus, but also in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Kovalevskaya herself claims that she wrote about what she felt and thought. The song “Elder Brother” was written by Oksana about her brother Yaroslav. The guy did not take his sister’s work seriously, which is why he greatly offended the girl. And “I love you Sergey” is dedicated to Sergei Zhukov, of whom the singer was a fan.

The group “Kraski” is recording 4 more albums. After touring abroad, Oksana decides to leave the team. According to official sources, the singer went on maternity leave because she was pregnant at that time. After giving birth, the singer decided to try her hand at solo work.

Having created the Kovalevskaya project, the singer shows her talent from the lyrical side. She records the songs “Another”, “I Know What You’re Silent About” and “Oceans”, reflecting the girl’s melancholic mood.

In 2013 he released a solo album, the success of which did not reach the heights of the collections in “Colors”.

In 2020, together with Timur TIMBIFAMILY, the track “Infinity” was recorded.

In 2020, the song “Reflection” was recorded, recorded in a duet with V1NCENT.

And in April of the same year, Kovalevskaya returned to the “Paints” group. The return was not without scandals. Voronov disputes Kovalevskaya’s right to use the group’s songs and brand.

Group "Paints" and Oksana Kovalevskaya

We all know, love and remember the group “Kraski” - a group that gave us the happiest and most joyful songs. Songs such as “Spring”, “I fell in love with a bandit”, “Don’t touch me” became part of the life of every girl in the nineties.

The photo shows the most famous composition of the group “Kraski”. In the center is Oksana Kovalevskaya.

When I learned the story of this amazing girl, I had no choice but to share it with my readers. I hope after reading it you will understand what I mean.

Lately, rare stupid questions have begun to appear, such as: “Is it true that Oksana Kovalevskaya never sang in the Kraski group.” What are these questions? Of course it was and will be! The “Paints” group is a project created with her active participation.

Where do the prerequisites for such doubts come from?.. In fact, finding out this is not so difficult. So, let’s lift the curtain a little on the events taking place today and those that took place earlier.

Eh, who could have known who he would later become for Oksana

On Voronov’s website you can often find words with similar content: “Friends!” (or colleagues, by which we mean the organizers, and in general the entire site is for them), “Beware of fakes! Only our stuff is working! All the rest are tees! and so on. Is it true? In fact, this question, which is quite difficult for some, can be easily resolved in the following way: It is better to see (and hear) once than to read tons of laudatory passages and affirmative-touching praise of oneself on their website at ... the “Kraski” group. Do you think that someone will dissuade you from inviting what is advertised there? Do you think that now someone will try to persuade you not to believe what is written there? But you are wrong! After listening on the phone to all the recommendations about the high level of the advertised product and curses and insults towards Oksana, no, invite... the “group”. And when the ball starts, you will see everything for yourself, but it will be too late 

For them, the most important thing is to have time to collect the money, remember. And what is good or bad, well, it’s up to you to decide. Yes, and of course you will hear that Oksana Kovalevskaya is to blame, Voronov always blames her for everything.

What is Oksana Kovalevskaya’s fault? Why is Voronov fighting it so desperately and trying to delete it from his own Wikipedia article? There is a certain selfish interest in this - MONEY. For the sake of money, people resort to any kind of fraud and deception. If you owe someone, you need to get angry with him and, in a fit of bullish rage, prove that everything is the other way around: they owe you.

Let's start with something simple - copyright. Few can doubt that someone better than herself, for example a 40-year-old man, can describe the inner world of a 16-year-old girl in poetry, but he may not have enough experience to record a song from beginning to end. Here the sound engineer appears, the technical implementation, that is, the recording of the song, depends on him. This happened in the early 2000s: Oksana wrote songs, Voronov recorded them. It must be said that this was a creative union, Voronov made minor amendments to the texts and recorded Oksana’s voice. But! Then he quietly rushed away from her to register the right to own them for himself.

But time passes. Everything around is changing. Oksana had a logical question: why does she work and have not received anything (literally not a penny) for many years of performing? It was an earthquake for Voronov, who did not know that people needed to pay at least something for their work. This greatly changed his attitude towards Oksana, putting her on a par with people he did not want. He created conditions that were impossible not only for creative activity, but also for life together in general. Seriously fearing for her life, Oksana ran away from him (but not with money, of course, as he says, but more on that later) with bruises and cuts from America, where he brought her.

Having learned that Oksana had arrived from America, Voronov’s creditors immediately came to her, and it turned out that he had huge debts before leaving for the country of freedom and democracy. I had to work through concerts during the 7-8 months of pregnancy.

All this will be described in more detail in the following articles, but for now let’s return to the conflict.

Oksana took control of the project into her own hands, and things started to work out well for her.

This is where the “producer of the Kraski group” showed up, dozens of people began to offer, or even impose, their help on Oksana as a producer, but this will also be discussed in subsequent articles.

At this time, Voronov, having come to his senses and realizing that no one needed him, first tried to bring Oksana back, and when he realized that this was impossible, that lies and threats no longer affected her, he gathered around him the same greedy and unscrupulous people and put together a company. He himself would not have become that “producer”, someone’s ears are sticking out here from Moscow. Anyway. So, having secured support, Voronov began to interfere with Oksana, interfere with everything, and one day came to demand that she be banned from performing due to violations of his copyright. However, what was his genuine surprise that not only he, but also other people have rights and freedoms, at least according to the Constitution, and in this case, according to the law of the Russian Federation. But she also wrote the songs. Can you imagine what it was like... the husband-producer.

So, closer to the heart of the matter. Why Voronov unsuccessfully tries to prove that Oksana Kovalevskaya does not exist. Because according to the law, he owes her what already belongs to her by law, and by right, and by conscience. Guided by the rule: Whoever is angrier is stronger, he lied to the point that Oksana Kovalevskaya is him.

Well, let him dress in women's dresses himself.

We can only wish Oksana courage in this protracted struggle. Oksana! For us you are Colors! Creative success to you!

Personal life: husband and children

The touring lifestyle brought two people closer together. Kovalevskaya and Voronov got married in June 2001. In August of the same year, their son Vladimir was born.

In 2002, the group went on tour to America. The couple plans to stay there permanently. But the discord between the spouses changed the course of events. Oksana returns alone. She is pregnant with her second son Alexei and is filing for divorce.

The divorce process lasted a long time. The couple could not divide the copyrights for the songs of the group “Kraski”. These processes continue today.

After the divorce, Oksana Kovalevskaya lives with her children and parents. Nothing is known about the singer’s relationship.
