- Sveta, it feels like you can’t stop. Are you afraid of falling out of the cage?
— The scene is maddeningly jealous, it does not forgive either betrayal or oblivion. Therefore, if you catch a wave, hold it. And now I feel such power and such strength! I need to record, sing, film so much... There are so many concerts, cities, countries ahead. My loyal fans expect so much from me that I simply have no right to stop. In general, I'm not afraid of anything. The main thing is to do your job honestly.
— Do you like your nomadic lifestyle?
- Yes! I feel how the hall charges me! All concerts are held with such an emotional outburst that I then cannot fall asleep until the morning. Of course, performances require enormous dedication, but I also get incredibly charged! It seems like I gave away energy, but people returned it to me a hundred times more. I am truly happy only on stage and at home, hugging my daughter. This is the only algorithm that prolongs life and prevents depression: a beloved family, a child you adore, and a profession that you fanatically practice from morning to night. What could be better?
— When was the last time you were on vacation?
— We have a tradition - every year in January, a large group of women go on vacation. My family - mother, daughter, sister. Plus my friend and part-time producer Natella Krapivina with her daughter and mother. We sit down in advance, develop a route, listen to the wishes of parents and children, and together choose the desired point on the map. Then everything comes under the sensitive guidance of Natella. Believe me, you won’t find a better organizer. She consults with friends, finds unimaginable options, studies all the proposals in detail, and in the end we all end up in heaven! (Laughs.)
— Where do you like to relax?
- In America. We rent a car there and travel to different cities, canyons, parks, and coasts. It’s a special pleasure to combine a vacation and a concert tour, because the audience in the States is very passionate. Basically, of course, these are emigrants who miss the music that is close to them. I also like the smell and mood of India, eastern countries, island holidays - the Maldives, Seychelles. Mexico has wonderful cuisine. I, like any person who works at a terrible, emergency pace, really like to rest, but I can’t afford it as often as I would like.
— What kind of vacation do you like - active or beach?
- More like a combination of both. I need rest to reboot after long concert tours, but at the same time, Groundhog Day on the beach is still not my thing. I need new emotions. My daughter is also an “energizer”, she likes to explore the world and travel with her mother. And I like to be with her, read fairy tales to her and answer the accumulated questions.
Famous mom
Svetlana Loboda was born on October 18, 1982 in the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv. From a young age, the girl had talent and ability for music. Therefore, mom and dad sent Sveta to a music school for piano class. A couple of years later, the girl underwent vocal training and mastered the skills of conducting.

After receiving her musical education, the talented singer submitted documents to the Variety and Circus Academy of the city of Kyiv. While receiving her education, Svetlana Loboda simultaneously participated in the musical group “Cappuccino”. The group was quite popular in the capital and had a large number of fans.
At the age of 22, the charming and talented artist took part in the casting. Thanks to her bright appearance, beauty and remarkable vocal abilities, she became a member of the mega-popular group “VIA Gra” at that time. However, after a few months, the singer realized that she wanted to write songs on her own, develop and be creative. With the help of an excellent musician and friend Taras Demchuk, Svetlana recorded the first song “Black and White Winter”, the video clip of which was shot by music video director Alan Badoev, who is in demand in Ukraine and abroad.

For four and a half years, LOBODA carefully hid her daughter from prying eyes. What made the singer radically change her decision and dare to take such a significant action, and how motherhood influenced the artist’s future fate - in an exclusive interview with Viva magazine!
According to Svetlana, at the very moment when she first held her newborn daughter in her arms, she came to the realization that her life was divided into “before” and “after.” But the artist didn’t stop there:
“And I also realized that I was very scared. A child is a crazy responsibility! To this day, sometimes I have panic attacks when I catch some unnecessary thought, begin to develop it, and literally torment myself with terrible fantasies. At such moments I say: “Mom, today we’re not going to the pool with Eva, cancel classes.” Well, I can’t help it! That’s the kind of panicking mom I am,” smiles LOBODA.
Four and a half years have passed since Evangelina was born. All this time, LOBODA refused glossy photo shoots and tried by any means to protect the girl from the attention of the press.
“The decision not to show my daughter to the public was provoked by the fact that I am not a fan of putting my personal life on display. I, like any mother, wanted to protect my child from prying eyes for longer. And all these years we had to disguise ourselves - wear glasses and put on caps. We couldn’t even send our child to kindergarten! - says the artist. “Our grandmother has been asking for a long time: “Please, Sveta, show the child, I dream that she can, like all children, go to the zoo without hiding, so that we can lead a normal human lifestyle!” And I thought that, in principle, Evochka is already ready, she has grown strong enough, and this fall the time has come to show her,” LOBODA argues for her decision.
Despite the fact that Evangelina is still very young, the family communicates with her on equal terms, so she takes part in conversations at the table as a full-fledged member of the family - with the right to vote and her own opinion. However, Svetlana never forgets about the educational process and always adheres to the golden mean:
“Since Evochka is the only child in the family, and also a girl, of course, she is a little selfish. But I don’t cultivate it; on the contrary, I fight it. In our family, the undisputed authority is my mother, that is, me. Only I am able to deal with children's whims. With just one facial expression I can make it clear that it’s time to quit tricks. Besides, we don't babysit. In the educational process, we have a system of rewards: if you deserve it, if you learn, if you behave well, you receive a gift; if you don’t deserve it, you’re sorry. There must be a clear motivation in the matter of education. This is extremely important,” the singer shares her secrets.
LOBODA’s immediate plans are to send her daughter to kindergarten, continue swimming, and a little later start learning English, French and German:
“I will do everything so that Eva grows up as an intelligent, well-mannered and kind girl, in many ways better than her parents and easily copes with any situation in life. It seems to me that in our modern world, being just a beautiful girl is too little,” summed up Svetlana.
Eva's hobbies
Evangelina Tsar actively practices vocals, plays the guitar, drums and masters the baby grand piano. She composes songs, puts together puzzles, dances a lot, sings and translates stories from English for her mother and nanny. The girl is quite active and cheerful, loves to be photographed and pose in front of the camera lens.

According to the girl, Svetlana Loboda is quite democratic in her upbringing. She never scolds the girl, and if her daughter doesn’t understand something, she explains it. After Evangelina turned four years old and the girl was more or less strong enough for such large-scale events, Svetlana took her daughter to her concert for the first time. The acquaintance with the artist’s work occurred during LOBODA’s summer tour in Turkey. The girl’s reaction to the show she saw was so unpredictable that it moved the singer to tears.
“After the concert, I leave the stage and see my mother all in tears. I was alarmed, what happened? And my mother says: “Eva looked at you in fascination throughout the entire concert and after each song she shouted: “Mommy, thank you for singing!” And then Evochka ran up to me, hugged me and said: “Mom, you are so beautiful on stage.” I can’t even describe how I felt at that moment. Hearing this from your child is happiness. I burst into tears,” it was at that moment that Svetlana Loboda realized that she had found her main fan in life.
And although Svetlana Loboda does not want her daughter to become an artist, the star still plans to send Eva to a music school.
“A vocal teacher comes to see me every day. And she, having listened to her daughter, says that she needs to study with her - Eva sings clearly, intonates clearly, and hears very well. Therefore, in terms of opportunities, the music school also threatens us. For a girl, playing music is very important, regardless of whether it becomes her future profession. Being musically educated is very cool,” said Svetlana Loboda.

“Almost every day Andrei comes after training, rehearsals and spends time with Eva.
