Theater
After graduating from theater school, Ksenia Lavrova was accepted into the troupe of the Et Cetera Theater. She took part in the plays: “The Reluctant Doctor”, “The Dark Lady of the Sonnets”, “Competition”, “Forever and Forever”, “Don Quixote”.
In 2003, the actress moved to the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov, where she played in the following productions: “No. Zheleznova”, “House”, “Step”, “Crime and Punishment”, “Zoykina’s Apartment”, etc.
She also played at the Oleg Tabakov Theater in the production of “The Last”.
Family life
The couple met 20 years ago. Ksenia remembers her first meetings with her future husband with particular trepidation. Already on the 2nd date, he invited the actress to a luxurious establishment, where he proposed marriage. The parents were informed about the upcoming marriage 5 days after the young couple met, but the chosen one immediately gained the trust of the relatives and they blessed them. The wedding took place on a grand scale; a large number of relatives and friends were invited to the celebration, but the center of attention was the Tabakerki troupe, including the leadership of O. Tabakov.
In 2000, the first-born child appeared in the family, he was named Daniil, and 6 years later Ksenia gave her husband a daughter, Glasha. Due to the actress’s busy schedule, the children see little of their mother; she is helped by a nanny and grandmother. During the holidays, the whole family goes to France, where since 2001 they have been spending time in their own house on the shores of the Cote d'Azur in France.
Movie
Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka’s film debut took place in 2004 in the drama “Papa” by Vladimir Mashkov. After this film, they began to regularly invite her to filming.
The actress starred in three seasons of the series “Sklifosovsky”, playing psychiatrist Tatyana Zhulina. She participated in a number of films of different genres - both comedies and action films.
I remember from the films “Heavy Sand”, “Palm Reader - 2”, “Legacy”, “Happiness by Contract”, “Fate to Choose”, “Closed School”, “Live on”, “Moon”, “Trap for a Star”, “Practice” “You can’t forbid living beautifully”, “Love is like a natural disaster”, “Ghost”, “Partner” and others.
“It’s very interesting when the role is written ambiguously, when you can’t say one hundred percent that the hero is negative or positive. I am interested in playing fate, complex people, both in their positive and negative manifestations. It’s interesting when it’s not one-sided,” says Ksenia.
Childhood and family of Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka
Ksenia was born in the small provincial town of Kimry.
Her surname at birth is Lavrova. Grandfather was an actor all his life. Her father served for many years in the drama theater, he was awarded the title of People's Artist. From 1994 to the present day, he has been working as the artistic director of this theater.
The girl was familiar with the theater from childhood, saw the work of her grandfather and father, but she never even dreamed of going on stage herself. Ksenia recalls that she felt a desire for the stage only in adolescence, already in high school.
Dmitry Miller and Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka in the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire program Lavrova graduated from a music school, where she studied violin. She studied in various circles, but the stage remained her main interest. After school, the girl went to the capital. She submitted documents to all universities where they taught the acting profession. But when the time came to take the exams, I decided that I would only try to enter the Moscow Art Theater School. She passed the exams with flying colors and was immediately accepted. Lavrova took the course of Oleg Tabakov.
Personal life
The actress received a marriage proposal on the second date. Successful businessman Sergei Glinka was friends with Oleg Tabakov, in whose theater 20-year-old Ksenia played. According to the artist, it was impossible to resist such a groom. “Sergey amazed me with his generosity and attention. And I immediately gave up,” the actress told Boris Korchevnikov, host of the “Fate of a Man” program. Sergei and Ksenia got married, and soon they had a son, Daniel, and a daughter, Aglaya.
According to the actress, over the many years of living together with Sergei Glinka, she was never interested in what her husband was doing. “I never allowed myself any excesses, although my husband was very generous. I refused expensive cars because I didn’t want to use something that my older colleagues couldn’t afford. I tried to behave as modestly as possible, without causing envy and anger,” Ksenia explained.
It seemed that her life was like a fairy tale. Everything changed when, on the set of the series “Montecristo,” Lavrova-Glinka met actor Dmitry Gotsdiner. “I saw that he liked me. We had good company and spent time together. One day Dmitry invited me to dance. I hugged him and immediately realized it was him. I couldn’t help myself and understood that I had nowhere to go,” noted the actress.
A prosperous life and two children could not hold her back. The most difficult thing was to tell my husband about all this, who loved Ksenia and did not want to let her go. The divorce was very difficult and long, but then everything fell into place. After breaking up with the actress, Sergei married again, and in this marriage he had three sons.
In 2011, Ksenia married Dmitry Gotsdiner, and in 2017 they had a son, Nikolai. The actress became a mother for the third time at the age of 40. “Now I understand how much time I lost. The acting profession involves constant expectation of something. I should have given birth during the pauses between work, I would now have a real “kindergarten,” she admitted.
Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka: my heroine became pregnant earlier than me
During the filming of the second season of the series “Practice,” the leading actress Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka found out that she was expecting a child.
On October 14 last year, the actress gave herself the best birthday present - she gave birth to a son, Nikolai. — Ksenia, what do you remember about filming the second season?
— If the first season of “Practice” is blissful and bright, then in the second there are many tragic moments, all the characters are tested for strength, unexpected turns await them every now and then. And my life also took an unexpected turn: soon after I started working, I realized that I was expecting my third child! It is noteworthy that in the second season my heroine is also pregnant, and first I found out about her pregnancy, and not about mine! The writers came up with this move early. I didn’t require special attention, but all my colleagues, producers, and director took care of me. However, they did not make any concessions: I, as expected, filmed 12 hours a day, even in the eighth month. When it turned out that the child could be born somewhere in mid-October, the husband (actor Dmitry Gotsdiner - TN note) laughed: “Is this bomb really going to fall into the same funnel!” The fact is that his daughter from his first marriage and I have birthdays on October 14th. And imagine, my son was also born on October 14th! I think it’s convenient: as you get older, celebrating your birthday is no longer so interesting, but now you can elegantly take it into the shadows and celebrate Nikolashin.
— You didn’t like the name Aglaya, but when you found out 12 years ago that you were pregnant with a girl, you suddenly thought: this is Aglaya! What did you decide to name your youngest son Nikolai?
“I went to the temple, being absolutely sure that there was a girl in my stomach. But near the icon of St. Nicholas, it sounded in my head: “A boy will be born, you will name him Nicholas.” I replied: “Okay.” A week later, during the ultrasound, they asked: “Do you know that you are having a boy?” - “Yes, and I even know the name.”
— Did you also understand that your eldest son should be named Daniil even before his birth?
- Yes. I had a presentiment of his character - kind, flexible, sensitive. It seemed to me that the name Daniel best reflects these qualities. And I was not mistaken with the character, and the name suits my son. From birth he is a man with a huge heart - you rarely meet such a boy. He is 17 years old; young men of this age already exhibit tough qualities.
