Sometimes she resembles a mischievous boy - with a wide smile, a deep voice and freckles on her nose. But as soon as she appears in the frame, everything changes, and you irrevocably fall in love with her spontaneity, charm and energy. Lukerya Ilyashenko (27) (“emphasis on the “e”!” she notes) spoke in our interview about her acting profession, complexes, love of music and the talents of her cat.
She walks through the corridors of the hotel in shoes two sizes too large (the showroom did not have her size for the shoot) and a formal suit. I advise her to take off her shoes until we reach our destination. “Well, no, this makes me feel feminine!” - she answers. This girl does a good job of believing in the proposed circumstances, and it is immediately clear that it was not difficult for her to fit into bright tight dresses and convincingly play a sexy yoga trainer. Actually, Lukerya is attractive in her own loose clothes. You look at this girl and don’t believe that she might have some kind of complex (this is exactly the case when the first shot is already successful).
“I am one big complex. For example, on the set I often have confusion in my speech. Until I was 18, I had a terrible lisp. And six months before the casting for the musical “Beauty and the Beast” I went to a speech therapist. Although many said that this cannot be cured, and in general, they say, it’s your charm. But this state of affairs did not suit me. Moreover, this was a period when I wore bright makeup and emphasized my pumped up ballet legs (in the past, Lukerya was a ballerina. - Ed.) with a short skirt. Imagine, I walk the streets like this and growl around the clock. But now I can pronounce the letter “r.”

“Dancing to Death is a post-apocalyptic drama. And I have a heroic role there! Since I am a former ballerina, this was doubly interesting to me. The film will be released in 2020, by the way, as will the third season of La Dolce Vita. I also have a recurring role in the film “Survive After” on STS. And I play there... zombie! Finally my dream of playing a zombie has come true. There they are very cool, with black eyes, and are called “murani” - only girls turn into them. By the way, in another adaptation project on NTV called “Carrier” (only without Jason Statham) I play a meticulous journalist.”

And when I was approved for the first role before the final exam, I screamed so that everyone seemed to hear. It's an amazing feeling when you get approved for a role! There is still nothing better for me.”

Then I worked in The Sound of Music, there were eight performances a week, and every day you do the same thing - it’s depressing. But my young man (the editor-in-chief of one of the men’s magazines, whose name Lukerya prefers to keep secret. – Ed.) came to the rescue. He said something like: “It’s stupid to dance until you’re old in musicals, try to take up acting, maybe you’ll succeed.” And then I thought: either I’ll be a “opener” for the rest of my life, or I’ll try something new.”

She was unexpectedly approved for “The Sweet Life”. The script called for a tall blonde with curves, and thin Lukerya with a short haircut passed the audition, although before that she failed the casting for the role of another heroine - Sasha. But she no longer wants to take on similar roles - “the range is not particularly wide.” She prefers the heroine from “Requiem for a Dream”: “I always wanted to play a complete drug addict. I think it would suit me!”
