Childhood and youth
Marina was born on June 17, 1989 in the Ural Kurgan. Here, in this cozy green city, which has preserved masterpieces of wooden Russian architecture, the future actress spent her childhood. Today's memories of that wonderful time are walks along picturesque streets, fishing on the Tobol River, and homemade feasts for a large family.
Actress Marina Domozhirova
From an early age, little Marina dreamed of becoming an artist: she was creative both in kindergarten and at school, participated in concerts and productions, and entered the Theater of Variety Miniatures at the Palace of Children's Youth Creativity in Kurgan. According to the actress, she grew up as a vulnerable child, sensitive to grievances, after which she could “close up” and not talk to people for a long time.
“It was only me who felt worse about this,” Marina now recalls with a smile, “so over time I began to work on myself and turned into the most cheerful and open person in the world.”
Marina was 16 years old when her father died. This was a big blow for the girl. With difficulty she pulled herself together, because a crucial period lay ahead - graduating from school and entering a university. Initially, Marina planned to enter the local cultural and educational school.

But after graduation, my mother borrowed money for a ticket for her daughter so that she would go to enroll in Chelyabinsk or Yekaterinburg. While sending, she said:
“If you don’t go and try, then you’ll never forgive yourself for it. And when I was already admitted, one thought was spinning in my head: look, dad, I can…” the artist shares.
In 2008, Domozhirova transferred from the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts (acting department) to the Faculty of Arts of St. Petersburg State University (workshop of S. Fridlyand and V. Bazhenova), with the end of which in 2010 her creative biography and acting career began.

Movies
Marina's acting debut took place in a cameo role in the film "Executive List". This was followed by serious work in the popular St. Petersburg TV series “Liteiny”. Domozhirova played police captain Alena Zorina, a special agent nicknamed “Cobra,” and in the 3rd season she delighted TV viewers with her appearance on the screen.

The series have long become the main film set for the actress: the girl periodically starred in episodes of such television projects as “Chef”, “Such Work”, “Streets of Broken Lanterns-12”, “Culinary-2”, “Alien District-2”, etc. Despite the small “caliber” of roles, Marina was pleased with the diversity of the characters’ personalities.
In the series “Murder for Three” she played the glamorous Lena, the mistress of the main character’s husband, in “Coast Guard 2” she embodied the image of the modest nurse Glasha, in the film “Let me kiss you... Father of the Bride” - the rollicking soldier Regina. And since 2012, Domozhirova has shown herself as a bright comedic actress, starting to act in the sketch show “Anecdotes”.

In addition to film roles, the artist honed her acting skills on the theater stage, took part in enterprise performances in St. Petersburg: “Kysya” (directed by L. Rakhlin), “What a fruit you are” (S. Rost), “Operation Divorce” or Wundermacher’s first principle "(A. Sinotov) and many others.
In 2020, Marina’s first big role appears in her filmography. In the series “Save Yourself, Brother!” the actress played the prostitute Klava, who is saved by the central characters of the film - the former prisoner Yegor and the monk Arseny.

2 years later, in 2017, Marina is already playing a full-fledged leading role in the television project “Sea Devils. Northern Frontiers". Domozhirova embodied the image of a woman in uniform: her heroine Marina Orlova serves in the naval special forces and responds to the call sign Agata.
Even as a student, only the lazy did not tell the pretty native of the Urals how much she looked like the star of the “dream factory” - Reese Witherspoon. And with the growing popularity of the artist and, accordingly, the increase in the number of fans, this comparison literally began to haunt the actress.

“At first it was annoying. But now I realized that there are advantages to this. Even strangers see me as a friend and even a family member. This helps a lot,” said Marina.
Contrary to the expectations of fans, no funny things happened in connection with this similarity in the artist’s life. The directors are not yet offering to play as Reese either. The only time Marina tried on the role of a Hollywood colleague happened during the “Russian Reese Witherspoon” photo shoot.

In front of the camera of photographer Marta Kohany, the actress posed in her underwear and showed off her amazing figure (the actress’s height is 170 cm). Fans had mixed reactions to this step; some even condemned her for such frankness. But Domozhirova herself believes that
“The image turned out to be even more covered than in swimsuits.”
Marina also made her debut in a music video, starring in one of the videos of the Leningrad group in 2020.
